8ferner das Schwein, denn es hat zwar gespaltene Klauen, ist aber kein Wiederkäuer: als unrein soll es euch gelten; vom Fleisch dieser Tiere dürft ihr nichts genießen und ihre toten Leiber nicht anrühren. –

8And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.

8The pig, because it has a split hoof but doesn’t chew the cud, is unclean to you. You shall not eat their meat. You shall not touch their carcasses.
