30Hüte dich, daß du nicht ihnen nach dich verstrickst, nach ihrer Vernichtung vor dir; und nicht nach ihren Göttern fragst, und sagst: Wie diese Völkerschaften ihren Göttern dienten, so will auch ich tun.

30Guárdate que no tropieces en pos de ellas, después que fueren destruídas delante de ti: no preguntes acerca de sus dioses, diciendo: De la manera que servían aquellas gentes á sus dioses, así haré yo también.

30Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.

30be careful that you are not ensnared to follow them after they are destroyed from before you, and that you not inquire after their gods, saying, “How do these nations serve their gods? I will do likewise.”
