Deuteronomio 11

Ama a Yahvé, tu Dios, y guarda en todo tiempo sus prescripciones, sus leyes, sus preceptos y sus mandamientos.

AMARÁS pues á Jehová tu Dios, y guardarás su ordenanza, y sus estatutos y sus derechos y sus mandamientos, todos los días.

Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, alway.

Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep his instructions, his statutes, his ordinances, and his commandments, always.

Considerad hoy —pues no (hablo) a vuestros hijos que no los han conocido ni los han visto— los castigos de Yahvé tu Dios, su grandeza, su mano fuerte y su brazo extendido,

Y comprended hoy: porque no hablo con vuestros hijos que no han sabido ni visto el castigo de Jehová vuestro Dios, su grandeza, su mano fuerte, y su brazo extendido,

And know ye this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,

Know this day—for I don’t speak with your children who have not known, and who have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God, his greatness, his mighty hand, his outstretched arm,

sus prodigios y las obras que hizo en medio de Egipto contra el Faraón, rey de Egipto, y contra toda su tierra;

Y sus señales, y sus obras que hizo en medio de Egipto á Faraón, rey de Egipto, y á toda su tierra;

And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;

his signs, and his works, which he did in the middle of Egypt to Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and to all his land;

y lo que hizo con el ejército de Egipto, con sus caballos y sus carros; cómo, mientras os perseguían, arrojó sobre ellos las aguas del Mar Rojo, destruyéndolos hasta el día de hoy;

Y lo que hizo al ejército de Egipto, á sus caballos, y á sus carros; cómo hizo ondear las aguas del mar Bermejo sobre ellos, cuando venían tras vosotros, y Jehová los destruyó hasta hoy;

And what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how the LORD hath destroyed them unto this day;

y lo que hizo con vosotros en el desierto hasta vuestra llegada a este lugar;

Y lo que ha hecho con vosotros en el desierto, hasta que habéis llegado á este lugar;

And what he did unto you in the wilderness, until ye came into this place;

and what he did to you in the wilderness until you came to this place;

y lo que hizo con Datan y Abirón, hijos de Eliab, hijo de Rubén, a los cuales la tierra, abriendo su boca, tragó con sus familias, sus tiendas y todo lo que pertenecía a ellos, en medio de todo Israel.

Y lo que hizo con Dathán y Abiram, hijos de Eliab hijo de Rubén; cómo abrió la tierra su boca, y tragóse á ellos y á sus casas, y sus tiendas, y toda la hacienda que tenían en pie en medio de todo Israel:

And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:

and what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben—how the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households, their tents, and every living thing that followed them, in the middle of all Israel;

Así vuestros ojos han visto todas las obras grandiosas que Yahvé ha hecho.

Mas vuestros ojos han visto todos los grandes hechos que Jehová ha ejecutado.

But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.

but your eyes have seen all of the LORD’s great work which he did.

Guardad, pues, todos los mandamientos que hoy os intimo, para que seáis fuertes y entréis en posesión del país adonde vais a pasar para poseerlo,

Guardad, pues, todos los mandamientos que yo os prescribo hoy, para que seáis esforzados, y entréis y poseáis la tierra, á la cual pasáis para poseerla;

Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither ye go to possess it;

Therefore you shall keep the entire commandment which I command you today, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land that you go over to possess;

a fin de que viváis largo tiempo sobre la tierra que Yahvé juró dar a vuestros padres, a ellos y a su descendencia, tierra que mana leche y miel.

Y para que os sean prolongados los días sobre la tierra, que juró Jehová á vuestros padres había de dar á ellos y á su simiente, tierra que fluye leche y miel.

And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.

and that you may prolong your days in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give to them and to their offspring, a land flowing with milk and honey.

Porque la tierra adónde vas a entrar para poseerla, no es como la tierra de Egipto, de donde salisteis, donde sembrabas tu simiente y la regabas con tu pie, como un huerto de hortalizas.

Que la tierra á la cual entras para poseerla, no es como la tierra de Egipto de donde habéis salido, donde sembrabas tu simiente, y regabas con tu pie, como huerto de hortaliza.

For the land, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs:

For the land, where you go in to possess isn’t like the land of Egypt that you came out of, where you sowed your seed and watered it with your foot, as a garden of herbs;

La tierra adónde vas a pasar para tomarla en posesión, es tierra de montaña y de valles, que bebe las aguas de la lluvia del cielo;

La tierra á la cual pasáis para poseerla, es tierra de montes y de vegas; de la lluvia del cielo ha de beber las aguas;

But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:

but the land that you go over to possess is a land of hills and valleys which drinks water from the rain of the sky,

tierra que cuida Yahvé, tu Dios, pues Yahvé, tu Dios, tiene siempre puestos sus ojos sobre ella, desde el principio hasta el fin del año.

Tierra de la cual Jehová tu Dios cuida: siempre están sobre ella los ojos de Jehová tu Dios, desde el principio del año hasta el fin de él.

A land which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.

a land which the LORD your God cares for. The LORD your God’s eyes are always on it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.

Si obedecéis mis mandamientos que hoy os prescribo, y amáis a Yahvé, vuestro Dios, sirviéndole con todo vuestro corazón y con toda vuestra alma,

Y será que, si obedeciereis cuidadosamente mis mandamientos que yo os prescribo hoy, amando á Jehová vuestro Dios, y sirviéndolo con todo vuestro corazón, y con toda vuestra alma,

And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to my commandments which I command you today, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

yo daré a vuestra tierra la lluvia a su tiempo, la primera y la tardía, de modo que puedas recoger tu trigo, tu vino y tu aceite.

Yo daré la lluvia de vuestra tierra en su tiempo, la temprana y la tardía; y cogerás tu grano, y tu vino, y tu aceite.

That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

that I will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil.

Haré también crecer hierba en tus campos para tus ganados, y comerás y te saciarás.

Daré también hierba en tu campo para tus bestias; y comerás, y te hartarás.

And I will send grass in thy fields for thy cattle, that thou mayest eat and be full.

I will give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be full.

Pero tened cuidado, no sea que se deje seducir vuestro corazón, y apartándoos sirváis a otros dioses y os postréis ante ellos.

Guardaos, pues, que vuestro corazón no se infatúe, y os apartéis, y sirváis á dioses ajenos, y os inclinéis á ellos;

Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and ye turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;

Be careful, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn away to serve other gods and worship them;

Porque se encendería la ira de Yahvé contra vosotros y se cerrarían los cielos para que no haya lluvia, y la tierra no daría sus frutos y pereceríais pronto de sobre la buena tierra que Yahvé os quiere dar.

Y así se encienda el furor de Jehová sobre vosotros, y cierre los cielos, y no haya lluvia, ni la tierra dé su fruto, y perezcáis presto de la buena tierra que os da Jehová.

And then the LORD’s wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you.

and the LORD’s anger be kindled against you, and he shut up the sky so that there is no rain, and the land doesn’t yield its fruit; and you perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD gives you.

Poned estas mis palabras sobre vuestro corazón, y sobre vuestra alma, y atadlas para recuerdo a vuestras manos y os servirán como frontales entre vuestros ojos.

Por tanto, pondréis estas mis palabras en vuestro corazón y en vuestra alma, y las ataréis por señal en vuestra mano, y serán por frontales entre vuestros ojos.

Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.

Therefore you shall lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul. You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.

Las enseñaréis a vuestros hijos, hablando de ellas, ora estando en casa, ora andando por el camino, al acostarte y al levantarte;

Y las enseñaréis á vuestros hijos, hablando de ellas, ora sentado en tu casa, ó andando por el camino, cuando te acuestes, y cuando te levantes:

And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.

y las escribirás en los postes de tu casa y en tus puertas;

Y las escribirás en los postes de tu casa, y en tus portadas:

And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:

You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates;

para que tus días y los días de tus hijos sobre la tierra que Yahvé juró dar a tus padres sean tan numerosos como los días del cielo sobre la tierra.

Para que sean aumentados vuestros días, y los días de vuestros hijos, sobre la tierra que juró Jehová á vuestros padres que les había de dar, como los días de los cielos sobre la tierra.

That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

that your days and your children’s days may be multiplied in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens above the earth.

Porque, si de veras guardáis todo este mandamiento cuyo cumplimiento os prescribo, amando a Yahvé, vuestro Dios, siguiendo todos sus caminos y adhiriéndoos a Él,

Porque si guardareis cuidadosamente todos estos mandamientos que yo os prescribo, para que los cumpláis; como améis á Jehová vuestro Dios andando en todos sus caminos, y á él os allegareis,

For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;

For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you—to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cling to him—

Yahvé expulsará de delante de vosotros a todos estos pueblos y os enseñorearéis de naciones más grandes y más fuertes que vosotros.

Jehová también echará todas estas gentes de delante de vosotros y poseeréis gentes grandes y más fuertes que vosotros.

Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.

then the LORD will drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

Todo lugar que pise la planta de vuestro pie, será vuestro. Se extenderán vuestros confines desde el desierto hasta el Líbano, desde el río, el río Éufrates, hasta el Mar Occidental.

Todo lugar que pisare la planta de vuestro pie, será vuestro: desde el desierto y el Líbano, desde el río, el río Eufrates, hasta la mar postrera será vuestro término.

Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto the uttermost sea shall your coast be.

Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even to the western sea shall be your border.

Nadie podrá mantenerse ante vosotros; Yahvé, vuestro Dios, esparcirá, como os lo ha dicho, el terror y espanto de vuestro nombre sobre toda la tierra que pisareis.

Nadie se sostendrá delante de vosotros: miedo y temor de vosotros pondrá Jehová vuestro Dios sobre la haz de toda la tierra que hollareis, como él os ha dicho.

There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you.

No man will be able to stand before you. The LORD your God will lay the fear of you and the dread of you on all the land that you tread on, as he has spoken to you.

Mirad que hoy os pongo delante bendición y maldición:

He aquí yo pongo hoy delante de vosotros la bendición y la maldición:

Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;

Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse:

la bendición, si obedecéis los mandamientos de Yahvé, vuestro Dios, que hoy os intimo;

La bendición, si oyereis los mandamientos de Jehová vuestro Dios, que yo os prescribo hoy;

A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you this day:

the blessing, if you listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, which I command you today;

la maldición, si no obedecéis los mandamientos de Yahvé, vuestro Dios, apartándoos del camino que os prescribo hoy y andando tras otros dioses que no habéis conocido.

Y la maldición, si no oyereis los mandamientos de Jehová vuestro Dios, y os apartareis del camino que yo os ordeno hoy, para ir en pos de dioses ajenos que no habéis conocido.

And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go after other gods, which ye have not known.

and the curse, if you do not listen to the commandments of the LORD your God, but turn away out of the way which I command you today, to go after other gods which you have not known.

Y cuando Yahvé, tu Dios, te haya introducido en la tierra adónde vas para poseerla, pondrás la bendición sobre el monte Garizim, y la maldición sobre el monte Ebal.

Y será que, cuando Jehová tu Dios te introdujere en la tierra á la cual vas para poseerla, pondrás la bendición sobre el monte Gerizim, y la maldición sobre el monte Ebal:

And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God hath brought thee in unto the land whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.

It shall happen, when the LORD your God brings you into the land that you go to possess, that you shall set the blessing on Mount Gerizim, and the curse on Mount Ebal.

¿No están ellos al otro lado del Jordán detrás del camino del occidente, en el país del cananeo que habita en el Arabá, frente a Gálgala, junto al encinar de Moré?

Los cuales están de la otra parte del Jordán, tras el camino del occidente en la tierra del Cananeo, que habita en la campiña delante de Gilgal, junto á los llanos de Moreh.

Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?

Aren’t they beyond the Jordan, behind the way of the going down of the sun, in the land of the Canaanites who dwell in the Arabah near Gilgal, beside the oaks of Moreh?

Porque estáis a punto de pasar el Jordán a fin de tomar posesión del país que Yahvé, vuestro Dios, os da. Lo poseeréis, y allí habitaréis.

Porque vosotros pasáis el Jordán, para ir á poseer la tierra que os da Jehová vuestro Dios; y la poseeréis, y habitaréis en ella.

For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein.

For you are to pass over the Jordan to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God gives you, and you shall possess it and dwell in it.

Mirad, pues, que cumpláis todas las leyes y preceptos que hoy os pongo delante.

Cuidaréis, pues, de poner por obra todos los estatutos y derechos que yo presento hoy delante de vosotros.

And ye shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which I set before you this day.

You shall observe to do all the statutes and the ordinances which I set before you today.
