1Damals sprach der Herr zu mir: "Haue dir zwei steinerne Tafeln, wie die ersten waren, und steige herauf zu mir auf den Berg; auch mache dir eine hölzerne Lade. (a) 2Mo 34:1
2Dann will ich auf die Tafeln die Worte schreiben, die auf den ersten Tafeln standen, die du zerschmettert hast, und du sollst sie in die Lade legen."
3Also machte ich eine Lade von Akazienholz und hieb zwei steinerne Tafeln, wie die ersten waren, und stieg auf den Berg, die beiden Tafeln in der Hand.
4Da schrieb er auf die Tafeln dieselbe Schrift wie das erstemal, die zehn Worte, die der Herr am Tage der Versammlung auf dem Berge aus dem Feuer heraus zu euch geredet hat. Dann gab sie mir der Herr,
5und ich wandte mich und stieg herab vom Berge und legte die Tafeln in die Lade, die ich gemacht hatte; daselbst blieben sie, wie mir der Herr geboten hatte.
6Und die Israeliten brachen von Beeroth-Bene-Jaakan auf nach Mosera; dort starb Aaron und wurde dort begraben, und sein Sohn Eleasar wurde Priester an seiner Statt. (a) 4Mo 20:28; 33:31
7Von dort brachen sie auf nach Gudgod und von Gudgod nach Jotba, einer Gegend mit Wasserbächen.
8Damals sonderte der Herr den Stamm Levi aus, um die Bundeslade des Herrn zu tragen, vor dem Herrn zu stehen als sein Diener und in seinem Namen zu segnen, (wie es) bis auf diesen Tag (geschieht). (a) 4Mo 3:12; 6:23; 5Mo 18:5
9Darum fiel Levi kein Anteil und Erbbesitz zu neben seinen Brüdern; der Herr ist sein Erbbesitz, wie der Herr, dein Gott, ihm verheissen hat. (a) 4Mo 18:20; Hes 44:28
10Ich aber blieb wie das erstemal vierzig Tage und vierzig Nächte lang auf dem Berge, und der Herr erhörte mich auch diesmal: der Herr wollte dich nicht verderben.
11Und der Herr sprach zu mir: "Auf, gehe hin, um dem Volke voranzuziehen, dass sie hineinkommen und das Land besetzen, das ich ihnen geben will, wie ich ihren Vätern geschworen habe."
12UND nun, Israel, was fordert der Herr, dein Gott, von dir, als dass du den Herrn, deinen Gott, fürchtest, indem du in allen seinen Wegen wandelst, ihn liebst und dem Herrn, deinem Gott, dienst von ganzem Herzen und von ganzer Seele, (a) 5Mo 6:5; Jos 22:5; Mi 6:8
13indem du die Gebote und Satzungen des Herrn, die ich dir heute gebe, hältst, auf dass es dir wohl ergehe?
14Siehe, dem Herrn, deinem Gott, gehört der Himmel und aller Himmel Himmel und die Erde und alles, was darauf ist. (a) 1Kön 8:27; Ps 24:1; 115:16
15Doch nur deinen Vätern hat der Herr sein Herz zugewandt, dass er sie liebte, und hat euch, ihre Nachkommen, erwählt aus allen Völkern, wie es heute ist. (a) 5Mo 7:6; Am 3:2
16So beschneidet nun eure Herzen und seid fortan nicht mehr halsstarrig. (a) 5Mo 30:6; Jer 4:4
17Denn der Herr, euer Gott, ist der Gott der Götter und der Herr der Herren, der grosse, starke und furchtbare Gott, der die Person nicht ansieht und nicht Bestechung annimmt, (a) Apg 10:34
18der der Waise und der Witwe Recht schafft und den Fremdling liebhat, sodass er ihm Brot und Kleidung gibt.
19Und ihr sollt den Fremdling lieben; denn ihr seid (auch) Fremdlinge gewesen im Lande Ägypten. (a) 5Mo 5:15; 15:15; 16:12; 24:18; 2Mo 22:21
20Den Herrn, deinen Gott, sollst du fürchten, ihm sollst du dienen, ihm anhangen und bei seinem Namen schwören. (a) 5Mo 6:13; Mt 4:10
21Er ist dein Loblied, und er ist dein Gott, der für dich jene grossen und furchtbaren Dinge getan, die deine Augen gesehen haben.
22Ihrer siebzig Seelen zogen deine Väter hinab nach Ägypten, und nun hat dich der Herr, dein Gott, so zahlreich gemacht wie die Sterne des Himmels. (a) 1Mo 46:27

1EN aquel tiempo Jehová me dijo: Lábrate dos tablas de piedra como las primeras, y sube á mí al monte, y hazte un arca de madera:
2Y escribiré en aquellas tablas las palabras que estaban en las tablas primeras que quebraste; y las pondrás en el arca.
3E hice un arca de madera de Sittim, y labré dos tablas de piedra como las primeras, y subí al monte con las dos tablas en mi mano.
4Y escribió en las tablas conforme á la primera escritura, las diez palabras que Jehová os había hablado en el monte de en medio del fuego, el día de la asamblea; y diómelas Jehová.
5Y volví y descendí del monte, y puse las tablas en el arca que había hecho; y allí están, como Jehová me mandó.
6(Después partieron los hijos de Israel de Beerot-bene-jacaam á Moserá: allí murió Aarón, y allí fué sepultado; y en lugar suyo tuvo el sacerdocio su hijo Eleazar.
7De allí partieron á Gudgod, y de Gudgod á Jotbath, tierra de arroyos de aguas.
8En aquel tiempo apartó Jehová la tribu de Leví, para que llevase el arca del pacto de Jehová, para que estuviese delante de Jehová para servirle, y para bendecir en su nombre, hasta hoy.
9Por lo cual Leví no tuvo parte ni heredad con sus hermanos: Jehová es su heredad, como Jehová tu Dios le dijo.)
10Y yo estuve en el monte como los primeros días, cuarenta días y cuarenta noches; y Jehová me oyó también esta vez, y no quiso Jehová destruirte.
11Y díjome Jehová: Levántate, anda, para que partas delante del pueblo, para que entren y posean la tierra que juré á sus padres les había de dar.
12Ahora pues, Israel, ¿qué pide Jehová tu Dios de ti, sino que temas á Jehová tu Dios, que andes en todos sus caminos, y que lo ames, y sirvas á Jehová tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma;
13Que guardes los mandamientos de Jehová y sus estatutos, que yo te prescribo hoy, para que hayas bien?
14He aquí, de Jehová tu Dios son los cielos, y los cielos de los cielos: la tierra, y todas las cosas que hay en ella.
15Solamente de tus padres se agradó Jehová para amarlos, y escogió su simiente después de ellos, á vosotros, de entre todos los pueblos, como en este día.
16Circuncidad pues el prepucio de vuestro corazón, y no endurezcáis más vuestra cerviz.
17Porque Jehová vuestro Dios es Dios de dioses, y Señor de señores, Dios grande, poderoso, y terrible, que no acepta persona, ni toma cohecho;
18Que hace justicia al huérfano y á la viuda; que ama también al extranjero dándole pan y vestido.
19Amaréis pues al extranjero: porque extranjeros fuisteis vosotros en tierra de Egipto.
20A Jehová tu Dios temerás, á él servirás, á él te allegarás, y por su nombre jurarás.
21El es tu alabanza, y él es tu Dios, que ha hecho contigo estas grandes y terribles cosas que tus ojos han visto.
22Con setenta almas descendieron tus padres á Egipto; y ahora Jehová te ha hecho como las estrellas del cielo en multitud.

1At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood.
2And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark.
3And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.
4And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.
5And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.
6And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera: there Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his stead.
7From thence they journeyed unto Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbath, a land of rivers of waters.
8At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.
9Wherefore Levi hath no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD thy God promised him.
10And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also, and the LORD would not destroy thee.
11And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them.
12And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
13To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good?
14Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD’s thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is.
15Only the LORD had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
16Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.
17For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
18He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
19Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
20Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.
21He is thy praise, and he is thy God, that hath done for thee these great and terrible things, which thine eyes have seen.
22Thy fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude.

1At that time the LORD said to me, “Cut two stone tablets like the first, and come up to me onto the mountain, and make an ark of wood.
2I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.”
3So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two stone tablets like the first, and went up onto the mountain, having the two tablets in my hand.
4He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spoke to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly; and the LORD gave them to me.
5I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made; and there they are as the LORD commanded me.
6(The children of Israel traveled from Beeroth Bene Jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his place.
7From there they traveled to Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of brooks of water.
8At that time the LORD set apart the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of the LORD’s covenant, to stand before the LORD to minister to him, and to bless in his name, to this day.
9Therefore Levi has no portion nor inheritance with his brothers; the LORD is his inheritance, according as the LORD your God spoke to him.)
10I stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD listened to me that time also. The LORD would not destroy you.
11The LORD said to me, “Arise, take your journey before the people; and they shall go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give to them.”
12Now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
13to keep the LORD’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good?
14Behold, to the LORD your God belongs heaven, the heaven of heavens, and the earth, with all that is therein.
15Only the LORD had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their offspring after them, even you above all peoples, as it is today.
16Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.
17For the LORD your God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons or take bribes.
18He executes justice for the fatherless and widow and loves the foreigner in giving him food and clothing.
19Therefore love the foreigner, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
20You shall fear the LORD your God. You shall serve him. You shall cling to him, and you shall swear by his name.
21He is your praise, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.
22Your fathers went down into Egypt with seventy persons; and now the LORD your God has made you as the stars of the sky for multitude.
