Daniel 6

Piacque a Dario di deputare pel governo del regno cento venti satrapi, che stessero in ogni parte del suo regno:

PARECIÓ bien á Darío constituir sobre el reino ciento veinte gobernadores, que estuviesen en todo el reino.

It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;

E tre principi, che soprintendessero a quegli, e uno di questi era Daniele, affinchè a questi rendessero conto i satrapi, e il re non fosse inquietato.

Y sobre ellos tres presidentes, de los cuales Daniel era el uno, á quienes estos gobernadores diesen cuenta, porque el rey no recibiese daño.

And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.

Daniele adunque andava avanti a tutti i principi, e satrapi: perchè in lui più spiccava lo spirito di Dio.

Pero el mismo Daniel era superior á estos gobernadores y presidentes, porque había en él más abundancia de espíritu: y el rey pensaba de ponerlo sobre todo el reino.

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.

Or il re pensava di dare a lui l'autorità sopra tutto il regno: per la qualcosa i principi, e i satrapi cercavano occasion di tendere insidie a Daniele presso del re: e non poterono trovar cagione, né sospetto; perocché egli era fedele, ed era lontano da ogni delitto, e sospizione.

Entonces los presidentes y gobernadores buscaban ocasiones contra Daniel por parte del reino; mas no podían hallar alguna ocasión ó falta, porque él era fiel, y ningún vicio ni falta fué en él hallado.

Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

Dissero adunque coloro: Noi non troveremo onde accusar questo Daniele, se non forse riguardo alla legge del suo Dio.

Entonces dijeron aquellos hombres: No hallaremos contra este Daniel ocasión alguna, si no la hallamos contra él en la ley de su Dios.

Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.

Then these men said, “We won’t find any occasion against this Daniel, unless we find it against him concerning the law of his God.”

Allora i principi, e i satrapi ordirono inganno al re, e gli parlaron così Dario re, vivi eternamente.

Entonces estos gobernadores y presidentes se juntaron delante del rey, y le dijeron así: Rey Darío, para siempre vive:

Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.

Tutti i principi del tuo regno, e magistrati, e i satrapi, e i senatori, e i giudici son di parere, che esca un decreto, e un editto imperiale; che chiunque domanderà qualche cosa a qualunque Dio, od uomo per trenta giorni, fuori che a te, o re, sia gittato nella fossa de' leoni.

Todos los presidentes del reino, magistrados, gobernadores, grandes, y capitanes, han acordado por consejo promulgar un real edicto, y confirmarlo, que cualquiera que demandare petición de cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, sino de ti, oh rey, sea echado en el foso de los leones.

All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.

E il re Dario pubblicò, e firmò l'editto.

La qual cosa avendo saputa Daniele, viene a dire, come era stata fatta tal legge, se n'andò a casa sua: e aperte le finestre della sua camera, che guardavan verso Gerusalemme, tre volte al dì piegate le sue ginocchia faceva adorazione, e rendeva grazie al suo Dio, come era solito di fare pell'avanti.

Y Daniel, cuando supo que la escritura estaba firmada, entróse en su casa, y abiertas las ventanas de su cámara que estaban hacia Jerusalem, hincábase de rodillas tres veces al día, y oraba, y confesaba delante de su Dios, como lo solía hacer antes.

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Ma coloro, che stavano attenti a tutto, trovaron Daniele, che orava, e supplicava il suo Dio.

Entonces se juntaron aquellos hombres, y hallaron á Daniel orando y rogando delante de su Dios.

Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.

E andati dal re gli rammentaron l'editto, dicendo: Non hai tu ordinato, o re, che qualunque persona, che per trenta giorni facesse preghiera ad alcuni degli dei, o degli uomini, fuori che a te o re, fosse gettato nella fossa de' leoni? A' quali rispose il re, e disse: Questo è vero secondo l'editto de' Medi , e de' Persiani, il quale non è lecito, che sia violato.

Llegáronse luego, y hablaron delante del rey acerca del edicto real: ¿No has confirmado edicto que cualquiera que pidiere á cualquier dios ú hombre en el espacio de treinta días, excepto á ti, oh rey, fuese echado en el foso de los leones? Respondió el rey y dijo: Verdad es, conforme á la ley de Media y de Persia, la cual no se abroga.

Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king’s decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Then they came near, and spoke before the king concerning the king’s decree: “Haven’t you signed a decree that every man who makes a petition to any god or man within thirty days, except to you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions?” The king answered, “This thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which doesn’t alter.”

Allora quegli risposero, e dissero al te: Daniele de' figliuoli esuli di Giuda non ha fatto caso della tua legge, né dell'editto firmato da te, ma tre volte al di fa sua orazione.

Entonces respondieron y dijeron delante del rey: Daniel que es de los hijos de la cautividad de los Judíos, no ha hecho cuenta de ti, oh rey, ni del edicto que confirmaste; antes tres veces al día hace su petición.

Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

Then they answered and said before the king, “That Daniel, who is of the children of the captivity of Judah, doesn’t respect you, O king, nor the decree that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.”

Ciò udito il re ne rimase molto afflitto, e per amor di Daniele ebbe desiderio di liberarlo, e fino al tramontar del sole si adoperava per trarlo di pericolo.

El rey entonces, oyendo el negocio, pesóle en gran manera, y sobre Daniel puso cuidado para librarlo; y hasta puestas del sol trabajó para librarle.

Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

Ma coloro avendo compreso l'animo del re, gli dissero: Sappi, o re, che è legge de' Persi, e de' Medi, che Qualunque decreto fatto dal re sia immutabile.

Empero aquellos hombres se reunieron cerca del rey, y dijeron al rey: Sepas, oh rey, que es ley de Media y de Persia, que ningún decreto ú ordenanza que el rey confirmare pueda mudarse.

Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

Then these men assembled together to the king, and said to the king, “Know, O king, that it is a law of the Medes and Persians, that no decree nor statute which the king establishes may be changed.”

Allora il re diede l'ordine, e condusser Daniele, e lo gittarono nella fossa de' leoni: e il re disse a Daniele: Il tuo Dio, cui tu sempre adori, egli ti salverà.

Entonces el rey mandó, y trajeron á Daniel, y echáronle en el foso de los leones. Y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: El Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves, él te libre.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

E fu recata una pietra, e fu posta sull'apertura della fossa, e il re la sigillò col suo anello, e coll'anello de' suoi cortigiani, affinchè non si facesse nulla contro Daniele.

Y fué traída una piedra, y puesta sobre la puerta del foso, la cual selló el rey con su anillo, y con el anillo de sus príncipes, porque el acuerdo acerca de Daniel no se mudase.

And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.

E il re se ne tornò a sua casa, e andò a dormire senza aver cenato, e non fu portata vivanda dinanzi a lui, e di più non potè prender sonno.

Fuése luego el rey á su palacio, y acostóse ayuno; ni instrumentos de música fueron traídos delante de él, y se le fué el sueño.

Quindi alla prima punta del dì il re alzatosi andò in fretta alla fossa de' leoni:

E appressandosi alla fossa con voce lagrimevole chiamò Daniele, e gli parlò, e disse: Daniele servo di Dio vivo, il Dio tuo, cui tu servi sempre, ha egli potuto liberarti da' leoni?

Y llegándose cerca del foso llamó á voces á Daniel con voz triste: y hablando el rey dijo á Daniel: Daniel, siervo del Dios viviente, el Dios tuyo, á quien tú continuamente sirves ¿te ha podido librar de los leones?

And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

When he came near to the den to Daniel, he cried with a troubled voice. The king spoke and said to Daniel, “Daniel, servant of the living God, is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?”

E Daniele rispose al re, e disse: Vivi, o re, in eterno.

Entonces habló Daniel con el rey: oh rey, para siempre vive.

Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

Il mio Dio ha mandato il suo Angelo, e questi ha chiuse le bocche de' leoni, e non mi hanno fatto male; perocchè; dinanzi a lui è stata trovata giustizia in me: ma anche inverso di te, o re, io non ho commesso delitto.

El Dios mío envió su ángel, el cual cerró la boca de los leones, para que no me hiciesen mal: porque delante de él se halló en mí justicia: y aun delante de ti, oh rey, yo no he hecho lo que no debiese.

My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Allora il re grandemente si rallegrò per amore di lui, e ordinò, che Daniele fosse tratto fuori della fossa, e funne tratto Daniele, e non si vide lesione alcuna in lui, perchè ebbe fede nel suo Dio:

Entonces se alegró el rey en gran manera á causa de él, y mandó sacar á Daniel del foso: y fué Daniel sacado del foso, y ninguna lesión se halló en él, porque creyó en su Dios.

Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

E per comando del re furon condotti coloro, che aveano accusato Daniele, e furon gettati nella fossa de' leoni eglino, e i figli, e le mogli loro, e non arrivarono sino al piano della fossa, che furon presi da' leoni, da' quali furon fatte in briccioli tutte le loro ossa.

Y mandándolo el rey fueron traídos aquellos hombres que habían acusado á Daniel, y fueron echados en el foso de los leones, ellos, sus hijos, y sus mujeres; y aun no habían llegado al suelo del foso, cuando los leones se apoderaron de ellos, y quebrantaron todos sus huesos.

And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

Allora Dario scrisse a tutti i popoli, tribù, e lingue, quanti ne abitano per tutta la terra: Sia a voi abbondanza di pace.

Entonces el rey Darío escribió á todos los pueblos, naciones, y lenguas, que habitan en toda la tierra: Paz os sea multiplicada:

Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.

E stato decretato da me, che in tutto quanto il mio regno sia temuto, e riverito il Dio di Daniele: imperocché egli è il Dio vivo, ed eterno pe' secoli e il regno di lui non sarà disciolto: la possanza di lui è in eterno.

De parte mía es puesta ordenanza, que en todo el señorío de mi reino todos teman y tiemblen de la presencia del Dios de Daniel: porque él es el Dios viviente y permanente por todos los siglos, y su reino tal que no será deshecho, y su señorío hasta el fin.

I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.

Egli Liberatore, e Salvatore, che fa segni, e prodigi in cielo, e in terra, egli, che ha liberato Daniele dalla fossa de' leoni.

Que salva y libra, y hace señales y maravillas en el cielo y en la tierra; el cual libró á Daniel del poder de los leones.

Or Daniele fu sempre in onore pel tempo del regno di Dario, e nel regno di Ciro Persiano. Visione di quattro bestie, figura di quattro monarchie. Dell'antico dei giorni. Potestà eterna del Figliuolo dell'uomo. Della quarta bestia, e delle sue corna.

Y este Daniel fué prosperado durante el reinado de Darío, y durante el reinado de Ciro, Persa.

So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.
