4Daher suchten die Oberbeamten und Satrapen an Daniel einen Vorwand zur Anklage in Sachen der Staatsgeschäfte zu finden, aber sie konnten an ihm keinen Vorwand noch irgend etwas Schlechtes ausfindig machen; denn er war treu, und es war an ihm keine Nachlässigkeit noch irgend etwas Schlechtes zu entdecken.

4Entonces los presidentes y gobernadores buscaban ocasiones contra Daniel por parte del reino; mas no podían hallar alguna ocasión ó falta, porque él era fiel, y ningún vicio ni falta fué en él hallado.

4Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
