4Es haben die Fürsten des Königreichs, die HERREN, die Landvögte, die Räte und Hauptleute alle gedacht, daß man einen königlichen Befehl solle ausgehen lassen und ein streng Gebot stellen, daß, wer in dreißig Tagen etwas bitten wird von irgendeinem Gott oder Menschen ohne von dir, König, alleine, solle zu den Löwen in den Graben geworfen werden.

4Entonces los presidentes y gobernadores buscaban ocasiones contra Daniel por parte del reino; mas no podían hallar alguna ocasión ó falta, porque él era fiel, y ningún vicio ni falta fué en él hallado.

4Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
