Daniel fue distinguido sobre los otros administradores principales y los gobernadores de provincia, porque tenía un espíritu extraordinario. El rey estaba planificando ponerlo a él sobre todo el reino.

Pero el mismo Daniel era superior á estos gobernadores y presidentes, porque había en él más abundancia de espíritu: y el rey pensaba de ponerlo sobre todo el reino.

Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.
