Là-dessus le roi se retira dans son palais, et il passa la nuit en jeûne, et n'admit point ses concubines auprès de lui, et son sommeil s'enfuit loin de lui.

Fuése luego el rey á su palacio, y acostóse ayuno; ni instrumentos de música fueron traídos delante de él, y se le fué el sueño.

Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.
