13Darauf traten sie vor den König und fragten mit Bezug auf das königliche Verbot: »Hast du nicht ein Verbot ausfertigen lassen, wonach jeder, der innerhalb der nächsten dreißig Tage eine Bitte an irgendeinen Gott oder einen Menschen richten würde außer an dich, o König, in die Löwengrube geworfen werden soll?« Der König antwortete: »Die Sache steht fest nach dem unwiderruflichen Gesetz der Meder und Perser.«

13Entonces respondieron y dijeron delante del rey: Daniel que es de los hijos de la cautividad de los Judíos, no ha hecho cuenta de ti, oh rey, ni del edicto que confirmaste; antes tres veces al día hace su petición.

13Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.
