13Et s'approchant du roi, ils lui dirent : Ô roi, n'as-tu point rendu cet édit, que tout homme qui, durant trente jours, fera une demande à un dieu ou à un homme autre que le roi, soit jeté dans la fosse aux lions ? Et le roi répondit : Ce que vous dites est véritable, et l'édit des Perses et des Mèdes ne sera pas violé.

13Entonces respondieron y dijeron delante del rey: Daniel que es de los hijos de la cautividad de los Judíos, no ha hecho cuenta de ti, oh rey, ni del edicto que confirmaste; antes tres veces al día hace su petición.

13Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.
