EL rey Nabucodonosor hizo una estatua de oro, la altura de la cual era de sesenta codos, su anchura de seis codos: levantóla en el campo de Dura, en la provincia de Babilonia.
Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was sixty cubits and its width six cubits. He set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
Entonces Nabucodonosor envió mensajes para reunir a los gobernadores de provincias, los regionales, y los locales, junto con los consejeros, tesoreros, jueces, magistrados, y todos los altos oficiales de las provincias para venir a la dedicación de la estatua que él había levantado.
Y envió el rey Nabucodonosor á juntar los grandes, los asistentes y capitanes, oidores, receptores, los del consejo, presidentes, y á todos los gobernadores de las provincias, para que viniesen á la dedicación de la estatua que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.
Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

que en el momento en que ustedes oigan el sonido de los cuernos, flautas, cítaras, liras, arpas y pipas, y toda clase de música, tienen que inclinarse y postrarse hacia la estatua dorada que el Rey Nabucodonosor ha levantado.
En oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, os postraréis y adoraréis la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor ha levantado:
That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
that whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music, you fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up.
Cualquiera que no se incline y adore, en ese mismo momento, será lanzado en un horno abrasador."
Y cualquiera que no se postrare y adorare, en la misma hora será echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.
And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Así que cuando todos los pueblos oyeron el sonido de los cuernos, flautas, cítaras, liras, arpas, y pipas, y toda clase de música, todos los pueblos, naciones y lenguas cayeron y se postraron hacia la estatua dorada que Nabucodonosor el rey había levantado.
Por lo cual, en oyendo todos los pueblos el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, todos los pueblos, naciones, y lenguas, se postraron, y adoraron la estatua de oro que el rey Nabucodonosor había levantado.
Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.

En este tiempo ciertos caldeos vinieron y trajeron acusaciones en contra de los judíos.
Por esto en el mismo tiempo algunos varones Caldeos se llegaron, y denunciaron de los Judíos,

Ellos le dijeron a Nabucodonosor el rey: "¡Qué viva el rey!

Usted, rey, ha hecho un decreto que toda persona que oiga el sonido de los cuernos, flautas, cítaras, liras, arpas, y pipas, y toda clase de música, tiene que inclinarse y postrarse hacia la estatua de oro.
Tú, oh rey, pusiste ley que todo hombre en oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, se postrase y adorase la estatua de oro:
Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
You, O king, have made a decree that every man who hears the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music shall fall down and worship the golden image;
Quienquiera que no se postre y adore tiene que ser echado a un horno abrasador.
Y el que no se postrase y adorase, fuese echado dentro de un horno de fuego ardiendo.
And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Hay ciertos judíos a quienes usted ha nombrado sobre los asuntos de la provincia de Babilonia; sus nombres son Sadrac, Mesac y Abed Nego. Estos hombres, rey, no le hacen caso. Ellos ni adoran ni sirven a sus dioses, ni se postran delante la estatua de oro que usted ha levantado."
Hay unos varones Judíos, los cuales pusiste tú sobre los negocios de la provincia de Babilonia; Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego: estos varones, oh rey, no han hecho cuenta de ti; no adoran tus dioses, no adoran la estatua de oro que tú levantaste.
There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Entonces Nabucodonosor, lleno de enojo y furia, mandó que les trajeran a Sadrac, Mesac y Abed Nego. Así que trajeron a estos hombres delante del rey.
Entonces Nabucodonosor dijo con ira y con enojo que trajesen á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego. Al punto fueron traídos estos varones delante del rey.
Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego. Then they brought these men before the king.

Nabucodonosor les dijo: "¿Han decidido, Sadrac, Mesac, y Abed Nego, que no adorarán mis dioses ni se postrarán ante la estatua dorada que yo he levantado?
Habló Nabucodonosor, y díjoles: ¿Es verdad Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, que vosotros no honráis á mi dios, ni adoráis la estatua de oro que he levantado?
Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
Nebuchadnezzar answered them, “Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you don’t serve my gods and you don’t worship the golden image which I have set up?
Ahora, si ustedes están listos a inclinarse y postrarse ante la estatua que he hecho, cuando oigan el sonido de los cuernos, flautas, cítaras, liras, arpas, y pipas, y toda clase de música, todo estará bien. Pero si ustedes no adoran, serán echados inmediatamente a un horno abrasador. ¿Quién es el dios que puede rescatarlos de mis manos?"
Ahora pues, ¿estáis prestos para que en oyendo el son de la bocina, del pífano, del tamboril, del arpa, del salterio, de la zampoña, y de todo instrumento músico, os postréis, y adoréis la estatua que he hecho? Porque si no la adorareis, en la misma hora seréis echados en medio de un horno de fuego ardiendo: ¿y qué dios será aquel que os libre de mis manos?
Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
Now if you are ready whenever you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipe, and all kinds of music to fall down and worship the image which I have made, good; but if you don’t worship, you shall be cast the same hour into the middle of a burning fiery furnace. Who is that god who will deliver you out of my hands?”
Sadrac, Mesac, y Abed Nego le contestaron al rey: "Nabucodonosor, nosotros no tenemos ninguna necesidad de contestarle sobre este asunto.
Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego respondieron y dijeron al rey Nabucodonosor: No cuidamos de responderte sobre este negocio.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered the king, “Nebuchadnezzar, we have no need to answer you in this matter.
Si es que hay una respuesta, es que nuestro Dios al cual servimos, es capaz de guardarnos seguros del horno abrasador, y Él nos rescatará de su mano, rey.
He aquí nuestro Dios á quien honramos, puede librarnos del horno de fuego ardiendo; y de tu mano, oh rey, nos librará.
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
If it happens, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace; and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king.
Pero si no, que se le haga saber a usted, rey, que nosotros no adoraremos sus dioses, y no nos postraremos delante de la estatua de oro que usted ha levantado."
Y si no, sepas, oh rey, que tu dios no adoraremos, ni tampoco honraremos la estatua que has levantado.
But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image which you have set up.”
Entonces Nabucodonosor se llenó de furia; la semblanza en su rostro cambió en contra de Sadrac, Mesac, y Abed Nego. Él mandó que el horno debiera calentarse siete veces más caliente de lo que normalmente se calentaba.
Entonces Nabucodonosor fué lleno de ira, y demudóse la figura de su rostro sobre Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego: así habló, y ordenó que el horno se encendiese siete veces tanto de lo que cada vez solía.
Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

Entonces mandó que algunos hombres muy fuertes de su ejército amarraran a Sadrac, Mesac, y Abed Nego, y que los lanzaran al horno abrasador.
Y mandó á hombres muy vigorosos que tenía en su ejército, que atasen á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, para echarlos en el horno de fuego ardiendo.
And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.

Ellos fueron amarrados aún vestidos con sus mantos, túnicas, turbantes, y otras ropas, y fueron lanzados al horno abrasador.

Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

Debido a que el mandato del rey fue estrictamente seguido, y el horno estaba muy caliente, las llamas mataron a los hombres que llevaron a Sadrac, Mesac, y Abed Nego.
Y porque la palabra del rey daba priesa, y había procurado que se encendiese mucho, la llama del fuego mató á aquellos que habían alzado á Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego.
Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego.

Estos tres hombres, Sadrac, Mesac y Abed Nego, cayeron dentro del horno abrasador aún estando amarrados.

Entonces Nabucodonosor el rey se maravilló y se puso de pie rápidamente. Él le preguntó a sus consejeros: "¿No lanzamos nosotros a tres hombres amarrados al fuego?" Ellos respondieron al rey: "Ciertamente, rey."
Entonces el rey Nabucodonosor se espantó, y levantóse apriesa, y habló, y dijo á los de su consejo: ¿No echaron tres varones atados dentro del fuego? Ellos respondieron y dijeron al rey: Es verdad, oh rey.
Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished and rose up in haste. He spoke and said to his counselors, “Didn’t we cast three men bound into the middle of the fire?” They answered the king, “True, O king.”
Él dijo: "Pero yo veo a cuatro hombres que no están amarrados, paseando dentro del fuego, y no están heridos. La brillantez del cuarto es como un hijo de los dioses."
Respondió él y dijo: He aquí que yo veo cuatro varones sueltos, que se pasean en medio del fuego, y ningún daño hay en ellos: y el parecer del cuarto es semejante á hijo de los dioses.
He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
He answered, “Look, I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the fire, and they are unharmed. The appearance of the fourth is like a son of the gods.”
Entonces Nabucodonosor se acercó a la puerta del horno abrasador y gritó: "Sadrac, Mesac, y Abed Nego, siervos de Dios Altísimo, ¡salgan! ¡Vengan aquí!" Entonces Sadrac, Mesac, y Abed Nego salieron del fuego.
Entonces Nabucodonosor se acercó á la puerta del horno de fuego ardiendo, y habló y dijo: Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, siervos del alto Dios, salid y venid. Entonces Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, salieron de en medio del fuego.
Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace. He spoke and said, “Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, you servants of the Most High God, come out, and come here!” Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego came out of the middle of the fire.
Los gobernadores de las provincias, los regionales, otros gobernadores, y los consejeros del rey que se habían reunido vieron a estos hombres. El fuego no les había hecho daño a sus cuerpos; el cabello en sus cabezas no se había chamuscado; sus mantos no estaban dañados, y no hubo olor a fuego en ellos.
Y juntáronse los grandes, los gobernadores, los capitanes, y los del consejo del rey, para mirar estos varones, como el fuego no se enseñoreó de sus cuerpos, ni cabello de sus cabezas fué quemado, ni sus ropas se mudaron, ni olor de fuego había pasado por ellos.
And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.
The local governors, the deputies, and the governors, and the king’s counselors, being gathered together, saw these men, that the fire had no power on their bodies. The hair of their head wasn’t singed. Their pants weren’t changed. The smell of fire wasn’t even on them.
Nabucodonosor dijo: "Alabemos al Dios de Sadrac, Mesac, y Abed Nego, quien ha enviado a Su mensajero y ha dado su mensaje a sus siervos. Ellos confiaron en Él cuando ignoraron mi mandato, y entregaron sus cuerpos antes que adorar o postrarse ante cualquier dios excepto su Dios.
Nabucodonosor habló y dijo: Bendito el Dios de ellos, de Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, que envió su ángel, y libró sus siervos que esperaron en él, y el mandamiento del rey mudaron, y entregaron sus cuerpos antes que sirviesen ni adorasen otro dios que su Dios.
Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants who trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god except their own God.
Por lo tanto, yo hago una ley de que todo pueblo, nación o lengua que hable cualquier cosa en contra del Dios de Sadrac, Mesac, y Abed Nego, deberá ser despedazado, y sus casas deben convertirse en montones de basura porque no hay otro dios que puede salvar así."
Por mí pues se pone decreto, que todo pueblo, nación, ó lengua, que dijere blasfemia contra el Dios de Sadrach, Mesach, y Abed-nego, sea descuartizado, y su casa sea puesta por muladar; por cuanto no hay dios que pueda librar como éste.
Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
Therefore I make a decree that every people, nation, and language which speak anything evil against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill, because there is no other god who is able to deliver like this.”
Entonces el rey promovió a Sadrac, Mesac, y Abed Nego en la provincia de Babilonia.
