24Hierauf ging Daniel zu Arioch, an den der König den Befehl gegeben, Babels Weise hinzurichten. Er ging und sprach zu ihm also: "Laß Babels Weise nicht hinrichten! Führ mich zum König! Ich kann dem König jetzt die Deutung geben."

24Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise men of Babylon: he went and said thus unto him; Destroy not the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation.

24Therefore Daniel went in to Arioch, whom the king had appointed to destroy the wise men of Babylon. He went and said this to him: “Don’t destroy the wise men of Babylon. Bring me in before the king, and I will show to the king the interpretation.”
