Die Absicht der beiden Könige geht auf Arglist: an einem Tische sitzend reden sie Lügen; aber es gelingt ihnen nicht, denn erst zu der festgesetzten Zeit wird das Ende erfolgen.

Y el corazón de estos dos reyes será para hacer mal, y en una misma mesa tratarán mentira: mas no servirá de nada, porque el plazo aun no es llegado.

And both these kings’ hearts shall be to do mischief, and they shall speak lies at one table; but it shall not prosper: for yet the end shall be at the time appointed.

As for both these kings, their hearts will be to do evil, and they will speak lies at one table; but it won’t prosper, for the end will still be at the appointed time.
