12Da sprach er zu mir: Fürchte dich nicht, Daniel! denn schon am ersten Tage, da dein Herz danach verlangte, zu verstehen und dich vor deinem Gott zu demütigen, sind deine Worte erhört worden, und eben ich bin um deiner Worte willen gekommen.

12Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
