12Y me dijo: No tienes que temer, ¡oh Daniel!, porque desde el primer día en que, a fin de alcanzar de Dios la inteligencia, resolviste en tu corazón mortificarte en la presencia de tu Dios, fueron atendidos tus ruegos; y por causa de tus oraciones he venido yo.

12Y díjome: Daniel, no temas: porque desde el primer día que diste tu corazón á entender, y á afligirte en la presencia de tu Dios, fueron oídas tus palabras; y á causa de tus palabras yo soy venido.

12Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel: for from the first day that thou didst set thine heart to understand, and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were heard, and I am come for thy words.
