To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Nosotros damos gracias a Dios, el Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo y siempre oramos por ustedes.

Nosotros hemos escuchado de su fe en Jesucristo y del amor que tienen para todos aquellos separados para Dios.
Habiendo oído vuestra fe en Cristo Jesús, y el amor que tenéis á todos los santos,
Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,
having heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love which you have toward all the saints,
Ustedes tienen este amor por causa de la expectativa confiable reservada para ustedes en el cielo. Ustedes escucharon de esta expectativa confiable antes en la palabra de verdad, el evangelio,
A causa de la esperanza que os está guardada en los cielos, de la cual habéis oído ya por la palabra verdadera del evangelio:
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
because of the hope which is laid up for you in the heavens, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the Good News
el cual ha venido a ustedes. Este evangelio está produciendo fruto y está creciendo por todo el mundo. Ha estado haciendo esto en ustedes también, desde el día que lo escucharon y aprendieron sobre la gracia de Dios en verdad.
El cual ha llegado hasta vosotros, como por todo el mundo; y fructifica y crece, como también en vosotros, desde el día que oísteis y conocisteis la gracia de Dios en verdad,
Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:
which has come to you, even as it is in all the world and is bearing fruit and growing, as it does in you also, since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth,
Este es el evangelio como ustedes lo aprendieron de Epafras, nuestro amado consiervo, quien es un fiel siervo de Cristo en nuestro a nuestro favor.
Como habéis aprendido de Epafras, nuestro consiervo amado, el cual es un fiel ministro de Cristo á favor vuestro;
As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
even as you learned from Epaphras our beloved fellow servant, who is a faithful servant of Christ on your behalf,
Epafras nos ha hecho saber de su amor en el Espíritu.
El cual también nos ha declarado vuestro amor en el Espíritu.
Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

Por causa de este amor, desde el día que escuchamos esto no hemos cesado de orar por ustedes. Nosotros hemos estado pidiendo que ustedes sean llenos con el conocimiento de su voluntad en toda sabiduría y entendimiento espiritual.
Por lo cual también nosotros, desde el día que lo oímos, no cesamos de orar por vosotros, y de pedir que seáis llenos del conocimiento de su voluntad, en toda sabiduría y espiritual inteligencia;
For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don’t cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
Nosotros hemos estando orando para que ustedes caminen dignamente en el Señor en forma complaciente. Nosotros hemos estado orando que ustedes produzcan fruto en toda buena obra y que ustedes crezcan en el conocimiento de Dios.
Para que andéis como es digno del Señor, agradándole en todo, fructificando en toda buena obra, y creciendo en el conocimiento de Dios:
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God,
Nosotros oramos para que ustedes sean fortalecidos en cada habilidad de acuerdo al poder de su gloria en toda perseverancia y paciencia.
Corroborados de toda fortaleza, conforme á la potencia de su gloria, para toda tolerancia y largura de ánimo con gozo;
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy,
Nosotros oramos que ustedes gozosamente den gracias al Padre, quien los ha hecho aptos para compartir la herencia de los creyentes en luz.
Dando gracias al Padre que nos hizo aptos para participar de la suerte de los santos en luz:
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light,
Él nos ha rescatado del dominio de la oscuridad y nos ha trasladado al reino de su amado Hijo.
Que nos ha librado de la potestad de las tinieblas, y trasladado al reino de su amado Hijo;
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of his love,
En su Hijo tenemos redención, el perdón de pecados.
En el cual tenemos redención por su sangre, la remisión de pecados:
In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
El Hijo es la imagen del Dios invisible. Él es el primogénito de toda creación.
El cual es la imagen del Dios invisible, el primogénito de toda criatura.
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
Pues por Él todas las cosas fueron creadas, aquellas en los cielos y aquellas en la tierra, las cosas visibles y las invisibles. Sean tronos, dominios, gobiernos, autoridades, todas las cosas fueron creadas por Él y para Él.
Porque por él fueron criadas todas las cosas que están en los cielos, y que están en la tierra, visibles é invisibles; sean tronos, sean dominios, sean principados, sean potestades; todo fué criado por él y para él.
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
For by him all things were created in the heavens and on the earth, visible things and invisible things, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things have been created through him and for him.
Él es antes que todas las cosas, y en Él todas las cosas se sostienen juntas.
Y él es antes de todas las cosas, y por él todas las cosas subsisten:
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
He is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
Y Él es la cabeza del cuerpo, la iglesia. Él es el principio y el primogénito de entre los muertos, así que Él tiene el primer lugar entre todas las cosas.
Y él es la cabeza del cuerpo que es la iglesia; él que es el principio, el primogénito de los muertos, para que en todo tenga el primado.
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

Pues Dios estaba complacido de que toda su plenitud deba vivir en Él,
Por cuanto agradó al Padre que en él habitase toda plenitud,
For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;
For all the fullness was pleased to dwell in him,
y para reconciliar mediante el Hijo todas las cosas en sí mismo. Dios hizo la paz mediante la sangre de su cruz. Dios reconcilió todas las cosas en sí mismo, sean las cosas en la tierra o las cosas en el cielo.
Y por él reconciliar todas las cosas á sí, pacificando por la sangre de su cruz, así lo que está en la tierra como lo que está en los cielos.
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
and through him to reconcile all things to himself by him, whether things on the earth or things in the heavens, having made peace through the blood of his cross.
En un tiempo, ustedes también, fueron extraños para Dios y fueron sus enemigos en mente y en malas obras.
A vosotros también, que erais en otro tiempo extraños y enemigos de ánimo en malas obras, ahora empero os ha reconciliado
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil deeds,
Pero ahora, Él los ha reconciliado a ustedes por su cuerpo físico mediante su muerte. Él hizo esto en para poder presentarlos santos, sin culpa y sin reproche ante Él,
En el cuerpo de su carne por medio de muerte, para haceros santos, y sin mancha, é irreprensibles delante de él:
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without defect and blameless before him,
si ustedes continúan en la fe estables y firmes, sin apartarse de la expectativa de confianza en el evangelio que ustedes escucharon. Este es el evangelio que fue proclamado a toda persona creada debajo del cielo. Este es el evangelio por el cual yo, Pablo, me hice siervo.
Si empero permanecéis fundados y firmes en la fe, y sin moveros de la esperanza del evangelio que habéis oído; el cual es predicado á toda criatura que está debajo del cielo; del cual yo Pablo soy hecho ministro.
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
if it is so that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the Good News which you heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, of which I, Paul, was made a servant.
Ahora yo me regocijo en mis sufrimientos por ustedes, y completo en mi carne lo que falta de las aflicciones de Cristo por el bien de su cuerpo, que es la iglesia.
Que ahora me gozo en lo que padezco por vosotros, y cumplo en mi carne lo que falta de las aflicciones de Cristo por su cuerpo, que es la iglesia;
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:
Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and fill up on my part that which is lacking of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the assembly,
Es de esta iglesia que yo soy siervo, de acuerdo a la responsabilidad de Dios que me fue dada a mí para ustedes, para completar la palabra de Dios.
De la cual soy hecho ministro, según la dispensación de Dios que me fué dada en orden á vosotros, para que cumpla la palabra de Dios;
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
of which I was made a servant according to the stewardship of God which was given me toward you to fulfill the word of God,
Esta es la verdad secreta que fue escondida por edades y por generaciones. Pero ahora esta ha sido revelada a aquellos que creen en Él.
A saber, el misterio que había estado oculto desde los siglos y edades, mas ahora ha sido manifestado á sus santos:
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
the mystery which has been hidden for ages and generations. But now it has been revealed to his saints,
Es a ellos que Dios quiso hacer conocer las riquezas de la gloria de esta verdad secreta entre los gentiles. Es que Cristo está en ustedes, la confianza de la gloria futura.
A los cuales quiso Dios hacer notorias las riquezas de la gloria de este misterio entre los Gentiles; que es Cristo en vosotros la esperanza de gloria:
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
to whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
Este es Él a quien nosotros proclamamos. Nosotros amonestamos a toda persona con toda sabiduría, tal que nosotros presentemos a toda persona completa en Cristo.
El cual nosotros anunciamos, amonestando á todo hombre, y enseñando en toda sabiduría, para que presentemos á todo hombre perfecto en Cristo Jesús:
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
We proclaim him, admonishing every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus;
Por esto yo trabajo y me esfuerzo de acuerdo a su energía que está trabajando en mí en poder.
En lo cual aun trabajo, combatiendo según la operación de él, la cual obra en mí poderosamente.
Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
for which I also labor, striving according to his working, which works in me mightily.
