3Versteckten sie sich auf des Karmels Gipfel, dort spähte ich sie aus und holte sie hinweg, und wollten sie vor meinen Augen auf dem Meeresgrunde sich verbergen, so böte ich die Schlangen, sie zu beißen, auf.

3Y si se escondieren en la cumbre del Carmelo, allí los buscaré y los tomaré; y aunque se escondieren de delante de mis ojos en el profundo de la mar, allí mandaré á la culebra, y morderálos.

3And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:
