2Da fragte er mich: Was schaust du, Amos? Ich antwortete: Einen Korb mit Herbstfrüchten! Da sprach Jahwe zu mir: Es kommt der Herbst über mein Volk Israel; ich will ihm nicht noch einmal vergeben!

2And he said, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. Then said the LORD unto me, The end is come upon my people of Israel; I will not again pass by them any more.
