Amós 7

Queste sono le visioni mandate a me dal Signore Dio: Ecco il facitore delle locuste nel principio, in cui la pioggia serotina facea spuntare i germogli, ed ecco la pioggia serotina dopo la segatura del re.

ASÍ me ha mostrado el Señor Jehová: y he aquí, él criaba langostas al principio que comenzaba á crecer el heno tardío; y he aquí, era el heno tardío después de las siegas del rey.

Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings.

Thus the Lord GOD showed me: behold, he formed locusts in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and behold, it was the latter growth after the king’s harvest.

Or quando la (locusta) ebbe finito di mangiare l'erba de' campi, io dissi: Signore Dio, abbi, ti prego, misericordia: chi rialzerà Giacobbe, che è si stenuato?

Y acaeció que como acabó de comer la hierba de la tierra, yo dije: Señor Jehová, perdona ahora; ¿quién levantará á Jacob? porque es pequeño.

And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

When they finished eating the grass of the land, then I said, “Lord GOD, forgive, I beg you! How could Jacob stand? For he is small.”

Il Signore ebbe pietà di questo, e disse il Signore: Non sarà.

Arrepintióse Jehová de esto: No será, dijo Jehová.

The LORD repented for this: It shall not be, saith the LORD.

The LORD relented concerning this. “It shall not be,” says the LORD.

E il Signore Dio mi fece vedere anche questo: Io vedeva il Signore Dio, che chiamava la vendetta a dar di mano al fuoco, e questo asciugò un grande abisso, e consumava insieme una parte;

El Señor Jehová me mostró así: y he aquí, llamaba para juzgar por fuego el Señor Jehová; y consumió un gran abismo, y consumió una parte de la tierra.

Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.

Thus the Lord GOD showed me: behold, the Lord GOD called for judgment by fire; and it dried up the great deep, and would have devoured the land.

Ed io dissi: Signore Dio, placati, te ne prego: chi rialzerà Giacobbe, che è si stenuato?

Y dije: Señor Jehová, cesa ahora; ¿quién levantará á Jacob? porque es pequeño.

Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

Then I said, “Lord GOD, stop, I beg you! How could Jacob stand? For he is small.”

Il Signore ebbe pietà di questo, e disse, il Signore Dio: Neppur questo sarà.

Arrepintióse Jehová de esto: No será esto tampoco, dijo el Señor Jehová.

The LORD repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.

The LORD relented concerning this. “This also shall not be,” says the Lord GOD.

Il Signore mandò a me questa visione: Io vedeva il Signore, che stava sopra una muraglia da arricciare, ed avea in mano la mestola da muratore.

Enseñóme así: he aquí, el Señor estaba sobre un muro hecho á plomo, y en su mano una plomada de albañil.

Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.

Thus he showed me: behold, the Lord stood beside a wall made by a plumb line, with a plumb line in his hand.

E il Signore disse a me: Che è quello, che tu vedi, o Amos? E io dissi: Una mestola da muratore. E il Signore disse: Ecco, che io getterò la mestola in mezzo al mio popolo d'Israele, né più la adoprerò per arricciare le sue mura.

Jehová entonces me dijo: ¿Qué ves, Amós? Y dije: Una plomada de albañil. Y el Señor dijo: He aquí, yo pongo plomada de albañil en medio de mi pueblo Israel: no le pasaré más:

And the LORD said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

The LORD said to me, “Amos, what do you see?” I said, “A plumb line.” Then the Lord said, “Behold, I will set a plumb line in the middle of my people Israel. I will not again pass by them any more.

E i luoghi eccelsi dell'idolo saranno atterrati, e i luoghi santi d'Israel e saran desolati, e darò di mano alla spada contro la casa di Geroboam.

Y los altares de Isaac serán destruídos, y los santuarios de Israel serán asolados; y levantaréme con espada sobre la casa de Jeroboam.

And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

The high places of Isaac will be desolate, the sanctuaries of Israel will be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.”

Ma Amasia sacerdote di Bethel mandò a dire a Geroboam re di Israele: Amos fa ribellione contro di te in mezzo al popolo d'Israele: la gente non può sopportare tutte le cose? ch'ei dice:

Entonces Amasías sacerdote de Beth-el envió á decir á Jeroboam, rey de Israel: Amós se ha conjurado contra ti en medio de la casa de Israel: la tierra no puede sufrir todas sus palabras.

Then Amaziah the priest of Beth-el sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.

Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, “Amos has conspired against you in the middle of the house of Israel. The land is not able to bear all his words.

Perocché Amos dice così: Geroboam perirà di spada, e Israele se n'anderà schiavo dal suo paese.

Porque así ha dicho Amós: Jeroboam morirá á cuchillo, é Israel pasará de su tierra en cautiverio.

For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.

For Amos says, ‘Jeroboam will die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of his land.’”

E Amasia disse ad Amos: O veggente, partiti, fuggi nel paese di Giuda, ed ivi mangia il tuo pane, ed ivi profeterai.

Y Amasías dijo á Amós: Vidente, vete, y huye á tierra de Judá, y come allá tu pan, y profetiza allí:

Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:

Amaziah also said to Amos, “You seer, go, flee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there,

Ma non profeterai mai più a Bethel, perchè è il luogo santo del re, e la sede del regno.

Y no profetices más en Beth-el, porque es santuario del rey, y cabecera del reino.

But prophesy not again any more at Beth-el: for it is the king’s chapel, and it is the king’s court.

but don’t prophesy again any more at Bethel; for it is the king’s sanctuary, and it is a royal house!”

E Amos rispose ad Amasia: Io non sono profeta, né figliuolo di profeta, ma sono custode di armenti, e bruco i sicomori.

Entonces respondió Amós, y dijo á Amasías: No soy profeta, ni soy hijo de profeta, sino que soy boyero, y cogedor de cabrahigos:

Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:

Then Amos answered Amaziah, “I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet’s son, but I was a herdsman, and a farmer of sycamore figs;

E il Signore mi prese mentr'io seguiva l'armento, e il Signore mi disse: Va, profetizza al popol mio d'Israele.

Y Jehová me tomó de tras el ganado, y díjome Jehová: Ve, y profetiza á mi pueblo Israel.

And the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

and the LORD took me from following the flock, and the LORD said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to my people Israel.’

Or ascolta tu adesso la parola del Signore. Tu dici a me: Non profeterai sopra Israele, e non getterai oracoli sulla casa dell'idolo.

Ahora pues, oye palabra de Jehová. Tú dices: No profetices contra Israel, ni hables contra la casa de Isaac:

Now therefore hear thou the word of the LORD: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.

Now therefore listen to the LORD’s word: ‘You say, Don’t prophesy against Israel, and don’t preach against the house of Isaac.’

Per onesto il Signore dice così: La tua moglie sarà disonorata nella città, e i tuoi figliuoli, e le tue figlie periranno di spada, e la tua terra sarà spartita a misura, e tu in una terra profana mortai, e Israele se n'anderà schiavo fuori del suo paese. Sotto la parabola di uncino da coglier i frutti è predetta la fine del regno d'Israele a motivo della oppressione de' poveri. Atrocità degl'imminenti flagelli. Le feste si cangeranno in lutto. Fame della parola di Dio.

Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: Tu mujer fornicará en la ciudad, y tus hijos y tus hijas caerán á cuchillo, y tu tierra será partida por suertes; y tú morirás en tierra inmunda, é Israel será traspasado de su tierra.

Therefore thus saith the LORD; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.

Therefore the LORD says: ‘Your wife shall be a prostitute in the city, and your sons and your daughters shall fall by the sword, and your land shall be divided by line; and you yourself shall die in a land that is unclean, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of his land.’”
