Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that are in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.
Listen to this word, you cows of Bashan, who are on the mountain of Samaria, who oppress the poor, who crush the needy, who tell their husbands, “Bring us drinks!”
Der Herr Jahwe hat bei seiner Heiligkeit geschworen: Fürwahr, es sollen Tage über euch kommen, da wird man euch an Angeln bis auf die Letzten an Fischhaken emporziehen.
El Señor Jehová juró por su santidad: He aquí, vienen días sobre vosotros en que os llevará en anzuelos, y á vuestros descendientes en barquillos de pescador.

Verbrennt nur gesäuerte Brote als Dankopfer und fordert mit lautem Ruf zu freiwilligen Gaben auf! Denn so thut ihr gern, ihr Israeliten! ist der Spruch des Herrn Jahwe.

And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you, O ye children of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

Wohl erhielt ich euch die Zähne blank in allen euren Städten und ließ es an Brot in allen euren Wohnsitzen mangeln, und doch habt ihr euch nicht zu mir bekehrt, ist der Spruch Jahwes.
Yo también os dí limpieza de dientes en todas vuestras ciudades, y falta de pan en todos vuestros pueblos: mas no os tornasteis á mí, dice Jehová.
And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

Wohl verweigerte ich euch den Regen, als noch drei Monate bis zur Ernte waren, und ließ wiederholt auf die eine Stadt Regen fallen, auf die andere Stadt nicht - das eine Feld wurde vom Regen getroffen, während das andere Feld, das der Regen nicht traf, verdorrte -;
Y también yo os detuve la lluvia tres meses antes de la siega: é hice llover sobre una ciudad, y sobre otra ciudad no hice llover: sobre una parte llovió; la parte sobre la cual no llovió, secóse.
And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

wohl wankte man wiederholt aus zwei, drei Städten zu einer Stadt, um Wasser zu trinken, ohne daß man seinen Durst stillte. Und doch habt ihr euch nicht zu mir bekehrt, ist der Spruch Jahwes.
Y venían dos ó tres ciudades á una ciudad para beber agua, y no se hartaban: con todo no os tornasteis á mí, dice Jehová.
So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

Ich strafte euch mit Brand und mit Rost; ich ließ eure Gärten und Weinberge vertrocknen; eure Feigenbäume und Ölbäume fraßen die Heuschrecken ab. Und doch habt ihr euch nicht zu mir bekehrt, ist der Spruch Jahwes.
Os herí con viento solano y oruga; vuestros muchos huertos y vuestras viñas, y vuestros higuerales y vuestros olivares comió la langosta: pero nunca os tornasteis á mí, dice Jehová.
I have smitten you with blasting and mildew: when your gardens and your vineyards and your fig trees and your olive trees increased, the palmerworm devoured them: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
“I struck you with blight and mildew many times in your gardens and your vineyards, and the swarming locusts have devoured your fig trees and your olive trees; yet you haven’t returned to me,” says the LORD.

Trastornéos, como cuando Dios trastornó á Sodoma y á Gomorra, y fuisteis como tizón escapado del fuego: mas no os tornasteis á mí, dice Jehová.
I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.

Darum werde ich also mit dir verfahren, Israel: - weil ich denn solches an dir thun will, so bereite dich, Israel, deinem Gotte gegenüberzutreten!

Denn fürwahr, es ist einer, der die Berge gebildet und den Wind geschaffen hat, der dem Menschen kundgiebt, was er im Sinne hat, der das Morgenrot in Dunkel verwandelt und über die Höhen der Erde dahinschreitet, - Jahwe, Gott der Heerscharen, ist sein Name!
Porque he aquí, el que forma los montes, y cría el viento, y denuncia al hombre su pensamiento; el que hace á las tinieblas mañana, y pasa sobre las alturas de la tierra; Jehová, Dios de los ejércitos, es su nombre.
For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought, that maketh the morning darkness, and treadeth upon the high places of the earth, The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name.
