E restavano stupefatti tutti que' che l'udivano, e dicevano: Non è egli colui, che in Gerusalemme dispergeva quelli, che invocano questo nome, ed è qua venuto a questo fine di condurli legati ai principi de' sacerdoti?
Y todos los que le oían estaban atónitos, y decían: ¿No es éste el que asolaba en Jerusalem á los que invocaban este nombre, y á eso vino acá, para llevarlos presos á los príncipes de los sacerdotes?
But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
All who heard him were amazed, and said, “Isn’t this he who in Jerusalem made havoc of those who called on this name? And he had come here intending to bring them bound before the chief priests!”
