36Há algum tempo, apareceu um certo Teudas, que tinha a pretensão de ser alguém importante. Cerca de outros 400 se juntaram a ele, porém foi morto e os seus seguidores foram dispersos sem prejuízo para ninguém.

36Porque antes de estos días se levantó Teudas, diciendo que era alguien; al que se agregó un número de hombres como cuatrocientos: el cual fué matado; y todos los que le creyeron fueron dispersos, y reducidos á nada.

36For before these days rose up Theudas, boasting himself to be somebody; to whom a number of men, about four hundred, joined themselves: who was slain; and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered, and brought to nought.
