So war das Pfingstfest herangekommen. Alle waren an demselben Ort beisammen.

And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

Es erschienen ihnen Zungen, wie von Feuer, die sich verteilten und sich auf jeden einzelnen unter ihnen niederließen.

Y se les aparecieron lenguas repartidas, como de fuego, que se asentó sobre cada uno de ellos.

And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

Alle wurden voll des Heiligen Geistes und begannen, in fremden Sprachen zu reden, wie es der Heilige Geist ihnen verlieh zu sprechen.

Als sich nun dieses Brausen erhob, lief die Menge zusammen und wurde bestürzt, weil ein jeder sie in seiner Muttersprache reden hörte.

Außer sich vor Verwunderung riefen sie: "Sind denn nicht alle, die da reden, Galiläer?

Cretenses y Arabes, les oímos hablar en nuestras lenguas las maravillas de Dios.

Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.

Alle waren außer sich vor Staunen und sprachen zueinander: "Was mag das wohl sein?"

Y estaban todos atónitos y perplejos, diciendo los unos á los otros: ¿Qué quiere ser esto?

And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

They were all amazed and were perplexed, saying to one another, “What does this mean?”

Andere dagegen spotteten und sagten: "Sie sind voll süßen Weines."

Mas otros burlándose, decían: Que están llenos de mosto.

Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Da trat Petrus samt den Elfen vor, erhob seine Stimme und redete sie begeistert an: "Ihr Männer von Judäa und ihr alle, die ihr in Jerusalem zu Hause seid! Dies sei euch kundgetan! Vernehmet meine Worte!

Entonces Pedro, poniéndose en pie con los once, alzó su voz, y hablóles diciendo: Varones Judíos, y todos los que habitáis en Jerusalem, esto os sea notorio, y oid mis palabras.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judæa, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:

Die da sind nicht betrunken, wie ihr meint; es ist ja erst die dritte Stunde des Tages.

For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.

Vielmehr erfüllt sich hier, was der Prophet Joel vorhergesagt hat:

'Ich werde in den letzten Tagen,' so spricht Gott, 'von meinem Geist über alles Fleisch ausgießen. Da werden eure Söhne und eure Töchter prophezeien; eure Jünglinge werden Gesichte schauen und eure Greise Traumgesichte haben.

Y será en los postreros días, dice Dios, derramaré de mi Espíritu sobre toda carne, y vuestros hijos y vuestras hijas profetizarán; y vuestros mancebos verán visiones, y vuestros viejos soñarán sueños:

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

‘It will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will dream dreams.

Sogar über meine Sklaven und meine Sklavinnen will ich in jenen Tagen von meinem Geist ausgießen, und sie werden prophezeien.

Y de cierto sobre mis siervos y sobre mis siervas en aquellos días derramaré de mi Espíritu, y profetizarán.

And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Ich werde Wunder tun am Himmel droben, und auf der Erde unten Zeichen: Blut, Feuer, Qualm und Rauch.

Y daré prodigios arriba en el cielo, y señales abajo en la tierra, sangre y fuego y vapor de humo:

And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

I will show wonders in the sky above, and signs on the earth beneath: blood, and fire, and billows of smoke.

Die Sonne wird sich in Finsternis wandeln, der Mond in Blut, bevor der große und erhabene Tag des Herrn kommt.

El sol se volverá en tinieblas, y la luna en sangre, antes que venga el día del Señor, grande y manifiesto;

The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come:

The sun will be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and glorious day of the Lord comes.

Doch wer den Namen des Herrn anruft, wird gerettet werden.'

Y será que todo aquel que invocare el nombre del Señor, será salvo.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

It will be that whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.’

Ihr Männer Israels! Vernehmet diese Worte: Jesus von Nazareth, ein Mann, der von Gott für euch durch Taten voll Allmacht, durch Wunder und durch Zeichen beglaubigt ward, die Gott - das wißt ihr ja selbst - durch ihn mitten unter euch vollbracht hat, ihn,

Varones Israelitas, oid estas palabras: Jesús Nazareno, varón aprobado de Dios entre vosotros en maravillas y prodigios y señales, que Dios hizo por él en medio de vosotros, como también vosotros sabéis;

Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

“Men of Israel, hear these words! Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God to you by mighty works and wonders and signs which God did by him among you, even as you yourselves know,

der durch Gottes festgesetzten Ratschluß und Vorherwissen ausgeliefert ward, ihn habt ihr durch die Hände der Gesetzeslosen ans Kreuz geschlagen und getötet.

A éste, entregado por determinado consejo y providencia de Dios, prendisteis y matasteis por manos de los inicuos, crucificándole;

Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

Gott aber hat die Wehen des Todes gelöst und ihn auferweckt; wie es ja auch nicht möglich war, daß der Tod über ihn die Macht behielt.

Al cual Dios levantó, sueltos los dolores de la muerte, por cuanto era imposible ser detenido de ella.

Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Sagt doch schon David mit Bezug auf ihn: 'Allzeit schaue ich den Herrn vor mir; er steht zu meiner Rechten, auf daß ich nicht wanke.

For David speaketh concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:

Darum frohlockte laut mein Herz, und meine Zunge jubelte, und auch mein Fleisch wird voller Hoffnung ruhen;

Por lo cual mi corazón se alegró, y gozóse mi lengua; y aun mi carne descansará en esperanza;

Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:

denn du wirst meine Seele nicht dem Totenreich preisgeben und deinem Heiligen nicht die Verwesung zu schauen geben.

Que no dejarás mi alma en el infierno, ni darás á tu Santo que vea corrupción.

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

because you will not leave my soul in Hades, neither will you allow your Holy One to see decay.

Du lehrst mich des Lebens Wege, erfüllst mich vor deinem Angesicht mit Wonne.'"

Hicísteme notorios los caminos de la vida; me henchirás de gozo con tu presencia.

Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; thou shalt make me full of joy with thy countenance.

You made known to me the ways of life. You will make me full of gladness with your presence.’

"Meine Brüder! Ganz offen darf ich über unseren Patriarchen David vor euch reden; er starb und ward begraben; sein Grabmal ist hier bei uns bis auf den heutigen Tag.

Varones hermanos, se os puede libremente decir del patriarca David, que murió, y fué sepultado, y su sepulcro está con nosotros hasta del día de hoy.

Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.

“Brothers, I may tell you freely of the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.

Er war ja ein Prophet und hat gewußt, daß Gott mit einem Eid ihm verheißen hatte, er werde einstens einen seiner Nachkommen auf seinen Thron erheben das heißt, daß Christus leiblich auferstehen werde.

Empero siendo profeta, y sabiendo que con juramento le había Dios jurado que del fruto de su lomo, cuanto á la carne, levantaría al Cristo que se sentaría sobre su trono;

Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

So schaut und kündet er zum voraus Christi Auferstehung; dieser wird nicht im Totenreich verbleiben noch wird sein Fleisch Verwesung erfahren.

Viéndolo antes, habló de la resurrección de Cristo, que su alma no fué dejada en el infierno, ni su carne vió corrupción.

He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

he foreseeing this, spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that his soul wasn’t left in Hades, and his flesh didn’t see decay.

Diesen Jesus hat Gott auferweckt; dessen sind wir alle Zeugen.

A este Jesús resucitó Dios, de lo cual todos nosotros somos testigos.

This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.

Er ward erhöht durch Gottes Rechte, empfing vom Vater den verheißenen Heiligen Geist, den er ausgegossen hat, wie ihr jetzt seht und hört.

Así que, levantado por la diestra de Dios, y recibiendo del Padre la promesa del Espíritu Santo, ha derramado esto que vosotros veis y oís.

Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

Being therefore exalted by the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he has poured out this which you now see and hear.

Denn nicht David stieg zum Himmel auf, und doch sagt er: 'Es sprach der Herr zu meinem Herrn; setze dich zu meiner Rechten,

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

bis ich deine Feinde zum Schemel deiner Füße mache.'

Hasta que ponga á tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies.

Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”’

So soll denn das ganze Haus Israel mit aller Sicherheit erkennen, daß Gott gerade diesen Jesus, den ihr gekreuzigt habt, zum Herrn und Christus gemacht hat.

Sepa pues ciertísimamente toda la casa de Israel, que á éste Jesús que vosotros crucificasteis, Dios ha hecho Señor y Cristo.

Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

“Let all the house of Israel therefore know certainly that God has made him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified.”

Als sie dies hörten, ging ein Stich ihnen durchs Herz, und sie sprachen zu Petrus und den anderen Aposteln: "Liebe Brüder, was sollen wir tun?"

Entonces oído esto, fueron compungidos de corazón, y dijeron á Pedro y á los otros apóstoles: Varones hermanos, ¿qué haremos?

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”

Petrus sprach zu ihnen: "Bekehret euch! Jeder von euch lasse sich taufen auf den Namen Jesu Christi für die Vergebung eurer Sünden, damit ihr die Gabe des Heiligen Geistes empfanget.

Y Pedro les dice: Arrepentíos, y bautícese cada uno de vosotros en el nombre de Jesucristo para perdón de los pecados; y recibiréis el don del Espíritu Santo.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Die Verheißung gilt euch und euren Kindern und all denen, die noch ferne sind, so viele auch der Herr unser Gott berufen wird."

Porque para vosotros es la promesa, y para vuestros hijos, y para todos los que están lejos; para cuantos el Señor nuestro Dios llamare.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Noch mit vielen weiteren Worten beschwor und ermahnte er sie: "Laßt euch erretten von diesem ganz verdorbenen Geschlecht."

Y con otras muchas palabras testificaba y exhortaba, diciendo: Sed salvos de esta perversa generación.

And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.

Die nun sein Wort bereitwillig annahmen, wurden getauft, und an jenem Tage kamen gegen dreitausend Seelen hinzu.

Así que, los que recibieron su palabra, fueron bautizados: y fueron añadidas á ellos aquel día como tres mil personas.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Sie hielten fest an der Lehre der Apostel und an der Gemeinschaft, am Brotbrechen und am Gebet.

Furcht ergriff alle Herzen; denn viele Wunder und Zeichen geschahen durch die Apostel in Jerusalem, so daß große Furcht auf allen lag.

Alle Gläubigen hielten zusammen und betrachteten all ihre Habe als gemeinsames Eigentum;

auch verkauften sie dann und wann ihr Hab und Gut und verteilten den Erlös an alle, je nach Bedürfnis.

Täglich verharrten sie einmütig im Tempel, brachen in den einzelnen Häusern das Brot und genossen ihre Speisen in stolzer Freudigkeit und Einfalt des Herzens;

Y perseverando unánimes cada día en el templo, y partiendo el pan en las casas, comían juntos con alegría y con sencillez de corazón,

And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

Sie priesen Gott und waren beim ganzen Volk beliebt. Täglich führte der Herr ihnen neue zu, die gerettet werden sollten.

Alabando á Dios, y teniendo gracia con todo el pueblo. Y el Señor añadía cada día á la iglesia los que habían de ser salvos.

Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
