ENTONCES Agripa dijo á Pablo: Se te permite hablar por ti mismo. Pablo entonces, extendiendo la mano, comenzó á responder por sí, diciendo:
Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Thou art permitted to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretched forth the hand, and answered for himself:
Agrippa said to Paul, “You may speak for yourself.” Then Paul stretched out his hand, and made his defense.
Io mi stimo fortunato, o re Agrippa, perché sono per dir mia ragione quest'oggi alla tua presenza su tutti i capi, ond'io sono accusato da' Giudei,
Acerca de todas las cosas de que soy acusado por los Judíos, oh rey Agripa, me tengo por dichoso de que haya hoy de defenderme delante de ti;
I think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this day before thee touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews:
“I think myself happy, King Agrippa, that I am to make my defense before you today concerning all the things that I am accused by the Jews,
Massimamente essendo tu conoscitore di tutte le consuetudini, e quistioni, che sono tra gli Ebrei; per la qual cosa ti prego di udirmi pazientemente.
Mayormente sabiendo tú todas las costumbres y cuestiones que hay entre los Judíos: por lo cual te ruego que me oigas con paciencia.
Especially because I know thee to be expert in all customs and questions which are among the Jews: wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently.

My manner of life from my youth, which was at the first among mine own nation at Jerusalem, know all the Jews;

I quali (se render voglion testimonianza) prima d'ora hanno saputo, com' io da prima secondo la più sicura setta della nostra religione vissi Fariseo.
Los cuales tienen ya conocido que yo desde el principio, si quieren testificarlo, conforme á la más rigurosa secta de nuestra religión he vivido Fariseo.
Which knew me from the beginning, if they would testify, that after the most straitest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.

Ora poi per la speranza della promessa fatta da Dio ai padri nostri sto qual reo in giudizio:

Alla quale (promessa) le dodici nostre tribù, servendo notte, e giorno a Dio, sperano di arrivare. Per cagione di questa speranza sono io accusato da' Giudei, o re.
A la cual promesa nuestras doce tribus, sirviendo constantemente de día y de noche, esperan que han de llegar. Por la cual esperanza, oh rey Agripa, soy acusado de los Judíos.
Unto which promise our twelve tribes, instantly serving God day and night, hope to come. For which hope’s sake, king Agrippa, I am accused of the Jews.

E quanto a me io mi era messo in cuore di dover fare da nemico molte cose contro il nome di Gesù Nazareno:
Yo ciertamente había pensado deber hacer muchas cosas contra el nombre de Jesús de Nazaret:
I verily thought with myself, that I ought to do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

E ti libererò da questo popolo, e da' Gentili, tra i quali ora ti mando
Librándote del pueblo y de los Gentiles, á los cuales ahora te envío,

Per la qual cosa, o re Agrippa non fui ribelle alla celeste visione:

Ma primieramente a quelli, che sono in Damasco, e in Gerusalemme, e per tutto il paese della Giudea, di poi anche alle genti predicava, che si pentissero, e si convenissero a Dio, e facessero degne opere di penitenza.
Antes anuncié primeramente á los que están en Damasco, y Jerusalem, y por toda la tierra de Judea, y á los Gentiles, que se arrepintiesen y se convirtiesen á Dios, haciendo obras dignas de arrepentimiento.

Che il Cristo dovea patire, che essendo egli il primo a risorger da morte, annunziar dee la luce a questo popolo, e alle nazioni.
Que Cristo había de padecer, y ser el primero de la resurrección de los muertos, para anunciar luz al pueblo y á los Gentiles.
That Christ should suffer, and that he should be the first that should rise from the dead, and should shew light unto the people, and to the Gentiles.

Tali cose dicendo egli in sua difesa. Pesto ad alta voce disse: Tu se' impazzito, o Paolo: la molta dottrina ti fa dare in pazzie.
Y diciendo él estas cosas en su defensa, Festo á gran voz dijo: Estás loco, Pablo: las muchas letras te vuelven loco.
And as he thus spake for himself, Festus said with a loud voice, Paul, thou art beside thyself; much learning doth make thee mad.
As he thus made his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul, you are crazy! Your great learning is driving you insane!”
Ma Paolo: Non son pazzo, disse, o ottimo Festo, ma proferisco parole di verità, e di saggezza.
Mas él dijo: No estoy loco, excelentísimo Festo, sino que hablo palabras de verdad y de templanza.
But he said, I am not mad, most noble Festus; but speak forth the words of truth and soberness.
But he said, “I am not crazy, most excellent Festus, but boldly declare words of truth and reasonableness.
Imperocché sono note queste cose al re, dinanzi a cui liberamente ragiono: dacché niuna di queste cose credo nascosta a lui. Conciossiachè niente di questo è stato fatto in un cantone.
Pues el rey sabe estas cosas, delante del cual también hablo confiadamente. Pues no pienso que ignora nada de esto; pues no ha sido esto hecho en algún rincón.
For the king knoweth of these things, before whom also I speak freely: for I am persuaded that none of these things are hidden from him; for this thing was not done in a corner.

Credi tu, o re Agrippa, ai profeti? So, che tu credi.

Ma Agrippa disse a Paolo: Quasi quasi mi persuadi a diventar Cristiano.
Entonces Agripa dijo á Pablo: Por poco me persuades á ser Cristiano.
Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.
Agrippa said to Paul, “With a little persuasion are you trying to make me a Christian?”
E Paolo: Bramo da Dio, che o quasi, o senza quasi non solamente tu, ma anche tutti que’, che mi ascoltano, diventiate oggi quale son io, eccettuate queste catene.
Y Pablo dijo: ¡Pluguiese á Dios que por poco ó por mucho, no solamente tú, mas también todos los que hoy me oyen, fueseis hechos tales cual yo soy, excepto estas prisiones!
And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.
Paul said, “I pray to God, that whether with little or with much, not only you, but also all that hear me today, might become such as I am, except for these bonds.”
E si alzò il re, e il preside, e Berenice, e quelli, che sedevano con essi.
Y como hubo dicho estas cosas, se levantó el rey, y el presidente, y Bernice, y los que se habían sentado con ellos;
And when he had thus spoken, the king rose up, and the governor, and Bernice, and they that sat with them:
The king rose up with the governor and Bernice, and those who sat with them.
E ritiratisi in disparte, discorrevan tra loro, dicendo: Quest'uomo non ha fatto cosa, che meriti morte, o prigionia.
Y como se retiraron aparte, hablaban los unos á los otros, diciendo: Ninguna cosa digna ni de muerte, ni de prisión, hace este hombre.
And when they were gone aside, they talked between themselves, saying, This man doeth nothing worthy of death or of bonds.
When they had withdrawn, they spoke to one another, saying, “This man does nothing worthy of death or of bonds.”
E Agrippa disse a Festo: Quest'uomo poteva essere liberato, se non avesse appellato a Cesare. Paolo è condotto verso Roma da Giulio centurione: naviga per varj paesi, ma avendo il vento contrario, appena arrivano ad un certo luogo della Candia; da cui partendo (benché predicesse Paolo, che la navigazione era pericolosa) patiscono gran tempesta; e finalmente consolati da Paolo, il quale racconta la rivelazione avuta della salvezza di tutti, gli esorta a prender cibo; fatto naufragio, arrivano tutti a salvamento.
Y Agripa dijo á Festo: Podía este hombre ser suelto, si no hubiera apelado á César.
Then said Agrippa unto Festus, This man might have been set at liberty, if he had not appealed unto Cæsar.
Agrippa said to Festus, “This man might have been set free if he had not appealed to Caesar.”
