Después de cinco días, Ananías el sacerdote principal, algunos ancianos, y un orador llamado Tértulo, llegaron allí. Estos hombres trajeron al gobernador cargos contra Pablo.
Y CINCO días después descendió el sumo sacerdote Ananías, con algunos de los ancianos, y un cierto Tértulo, orador; y parecieron delante del gobernador contra Pablo.
And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
After five days, the high priest, Ananias, came down with certain elders and an orator, one Tertullus. They informed the governor against Paul.
Cuando Pablo se paró delante del gobernador, Tértulo comenzó a acusarlo y le dijo al gobernador: "Por cuasa tuya tenemos gran paz; y tu previsión trae buena reforma a nuestra nación;
Y citado que fué, Tértulo comenzó á acusar, diciendo: Como por causa tuya vivamos en grande paz, y muchas cosas sean bien gobernadas en el pueblo por tu prudencia,
And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
When he was called, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, “Seeing that by you we enjoy much peace, and that prosperity is coming to this nation by your foresight,
por eso con toda gratitud damos la bienvenida a todo lo que tú haces, excelentísimo Félix.
Siempre y en todo lugar lo recibimos con todo hacimiento de gracias, oh excelentísimo Félix.
We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.

Así que no te entretendré más, yo te pido con amabilidad que me escuches brevemente.
Empero por no molestarte más largamente, ruégote que nos oigas brevemente conforme á tu equidad.
Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.
But that I don’t delay you, I entreat you to bear with us and hear a few words.
Pues nosotros hemos encontrado a este hombre ser una plaga y uno que provoca a todos los Judíos en todo el mundo a rebelarse. Él es el líder de la secta de los Nazarenos.
Porque hemos hallado que este hombre es pestilencial, y levantador de sediciones entre todos los Judíos por todo el mundo, y príncipe de la secta de los Nazarenos:
For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:
For we have found this man to be a plague, an instigator of insurrections among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.
Él incluso trató de profanar el templo; así que lo arrestamos porque queriamos juzgarlo de acuerdo a nuestra ley.
El cual también tentó á violar el templo; y prendiéndole, le quisimos juzgar conforme á nuestra ley:
Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.
He even tried to profane the temple, and we arrested him.
Pero Lisias, el oficial, vino y con gran violencia nos lo quitó de nuestras manos.
Mas interviniendo el tribuno Lisias, con grande violencia le quitó de nuestras manos,
But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
—
Envíandonos a tí. Cuando tú cuestiones a Pablo sobre todos estos asuntos, tú, también, podrás aprender de que lo acusamos."
Mandando á sus acusadores que viniesen á ti; del cual tú mismo juzgando, podrás entender todas estas cosas de que le acusamos.
Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
By examining him yourself you may ascertain all these things of which we accuse him.”
Los Judíos accusaron a Pablo, también, y dijeron que estas cosas eran ciertas.
Y contendían también los Judíos, diciendo ser así estas cosas.
And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.
The Jews also joined in the attack, affirming that these things were so.
Pero cuando el gobernador le hizo señas a Pablo para hablar, Pablo contestó: "Yo entiendo que por muchos años tú has sido un juez a esta nación, así que con gusto le explicaré a usted.
Entonces Pablo, haciéndole el gobernador señal que hablase, respondió: Porque sé que muchos años ha eres gobernador de esta nación, con buen ánimo satisfaré por mí.
Then Paul, after that the governor had beckoned unto him to speak, answered, Forasmuch as I know that thou hast been of many years a judge unto this nation, I do the more cheerfully answer for myself:
When the governor had beckoned to him to speak, Paul answered, “Because I know that you have been a judge of this nation for many years, I cheerfully make my defense,
Usted puede verificar que no han pasado más de doce días desde que subí a adorar en Jerusalen;
Porque tú puedes entender que no hace más de doce días que subí á adorar á Jerusalem;
Because that thou mayest understand, that there are yet but twelve days since I went up to Jerusalem for to worship.
seeing that you can verify that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to worship at Jerusalem.
y cuando ellos me encontraron en el templo, yo no discutí con nadie, y yo no incité a la multitud, ni en las sinagogas, ni en la cuidad.
Y ni me hallaron en el templo disputando con ninguno, ni haciendo concurso de multitud, ni en sinagogas, ni en la ciudad;
And they neither found me in the temple disputing with any man, neither raising up the people, neither in the synagogues, nor in the city:
In the temple they didn’t find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd, either in the synagogues or in the city.
Ellos no pueden probarle las acusaciones que ellos ahora hacen contra mi.
Ni te pueden probar las cosas de que ahora me acusan.
Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.
Nor can they prove to you the things of which they now accuse me.
Pero yo le admito esto, que de acuerdo a los del Camino que ellos llaman una secta, en ese mismo Camino yo sirvo al Dios de mis antepasados. Yo soy fiel a todo lo que está en la ley y en los escritos de los profetas.
Esto empero te confieso, que conforme á aquel Camino que llaman herejía, así sirvo al Dios de mis padres, creyendo todas las cosas que en la ley y en los profetas están escritas;
But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:
But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, so I serve the God of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and which are written in the prophets;
Yo tengo la misma confianza en Dios, tal como estos hombres también la esperán, la resurrección venidera de los muertos, de ambos, de los justos y de los injustos.
Teniendo esperanza en Dios que ha de haber resurrección de los muertos, así de justos como de injustos, la cual también ellos esperan.
And have hope toward God, which they themselves also allow, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

Por esto, yo siempre me esfuerzo para tener una conciencia clara ante Dios y los seres humanos.

And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.

Now after many years I came to bring alms to my nation, and offerings.

Cuando yo hice esto, algunos Judíos de Asia me encontraron en una ceremonia de purificación en el templo, no con una multitud o en un alboroto.
Cuando me hallaron purificado en el templo (no con multitud ni con alboroto) unos Judíos de Asia;
Whereupon certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, neither with multitude, nor with tumult.
amid which certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, not with a mob, nor with turmoil.
Estos hombres deberían estar delante de tí ahora y decir lo que ellos tienen en mi contra, si ellos tienen algo.
Los cuales debieron comparecer delante de ti, y acusarme, si contra mí tenían algo.
Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had ought against me.
They ought to have been here before you and to make accusation if they had anything against me.
Si no, estos mismos hombres deberían decir que mal ellos encontraron en mí cuando me paré frente al Concilio de los Judíos;
O digan estos mismos si hallaron en mí alguna cosa mal hecha, cuando yo estuve en el concilio,
Or else let these same here say, if they have found any evil doing in me, while I stood before the council,
Or else let these men themselves say what injustice they found in me when I stood before the council,
a menos que sea acerca de una cosa que yo dije en voz alta cuando me paré en medio de ellos: 'Es sobre la resurrección de los muertos que hoy yo estoy siendo juzgado por ustedes."
Si no sea que, estando entre ellos prorrumpí en alta voz: Acerca de la resurrección de los muertos soy hoy juzgado de vosotros.
Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
unless it is for this one thing that I cried standing among them, ‘Concerning the resurrection of the dead I am being judged before you today!’”
Entonces Felix, quien estaba bien informado acerca del Camino, suspendió la audiencia. Él dijo:"Cuando el comandante Lisias baje de Jerusalén, yo decidiré tu caso."
Entonces Félix, oídas estas cosas, estando bien informado de esta secta, les puso dilación, diciendo: Cuando descendiere el tribuno Lisias acabaré de conocer de vuestro negocio.
And when Felix heard these things, having more perfect knowledge of that way, he deferred them, and said, When Lysias the chief captain shall come down, I will know the uttermost of your matter.
But Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, “When Lysias, the commanding officer, comes down, I will decide your case.”
Entonces él ordenó al centurión vigilar a Pablo, pero que tuviese alguna libertad para que ninguno de sus amigos fueran privados de atender sus necesidades.
Y mandó al centurión que Pablo fuese guardado, y aliviado de las prisiones; y que no vedase á ninguno de sus familiares servirle, ó venir á él.
And he commanded a centurion to keep Paul, and to let him have liberty, and that he should forbid none of his acquaintance to minister or come unto him.
He ordered the centurion that Paul should be kept in custody and should have some privileges, and not to forbid any of his friends to serve him or to visit him.
Después de algunos días, Felix volvió con Drusila su esposa, una mujer Judía, y él envió por Pablo y escuchó de él acerca de la fe en Cristo Jesús.
Y algunos días después, viniendo Félix con Drusila, su mujer, la cual era Judía, llamó á Pablo, y oyó de él la fe que es en Jesucristo.
And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
After some days, Felix came with Drusilla his wife, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul and heard him concerning the faith in Christ Jesus.
Pero cuando Pabló debatió con él sobre justicia, el dominio propio, y el juicio venidero, Felix se atemorizó y dijo: "Vete por ahora. Pero más tarde cuando yo tenga tiempo de nuevo, te llamaré."
Y disertando él de la justicia, y de la continencia, y del juicio venidero, espantado Félix, respondió: Ahora vete; mas en teniendo oportunidad te llamaré:
And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
As he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered, “Go your way for this time, and when it is convenient for me, I will summon you.”
Al mismo tiempo, él estaba esperando que Pablo le diera dinero, por lo que a menudo enviaba por él y hablaba con él.
Esperando también con esto, que de parte de Pablo le serían dados dineros, porque le soltase; por lo cual, haciéndole venir muchas veces, hablaba con él.
He hoped also that money should have been given him of Paul, that he might loose him: wherefore he sent for him the oftener, and communed with him.
Meanwhile, he also hoped that money would be given to him by Paul, that he might release him. Therefore also he sent for him more often and talked with him.
Pero cuando pasaron dos años, Porcio Festo llegó a ser el gobernador después de Felix, pero Felix quería ganar favor con los Judíos, así que dejó a Pablo continuar bajo vigilancia.
Mas al cabo de dos años recibió Félix por sucesor á Porcio Festo: y queriendo Félix ganar la gracia de los Judíos, dejó preso á Pablo.
But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix’ room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.
But when two years were fulfilled, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, and desiring to gain favor with the Jews, Felix left Paul in bonds.
