Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?
Then Paul said to him, “God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! Do you sit to judge me according to the law, and command me to be struck contrary to the law?”
Aquellos que estaban parados junto a él dijeron, " ¿Así es como tú insultas al sumo sacerdote de Dios?"

And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God’s high priest?

Pablo dijo, " Yo no sabía, hermanos, que él era el sumo sacerdote. Pues escrito está, TU NO HABLARÁS MAL DE LOS QUE GOBIERNAN DE TU PUEBLO."
Y Pablo dijo: No sabía, hermanos, que era el sumo sacerdote; pues escrito está: Al príncipe de tu pueblo no maldecirás.
Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
Paul said, “I didn’t know, brothers, that he was high priest. For it is written, ‘You shall not speak evil of a ruler of your people.’”
Cuando Pablo vió que una parte del concilio eran Saduceos y los otros Fariseos, el habló fuertemente en el concilio, " Hermanos, yo soy Fariseo, hijo de Fariseos. Es porque confiadamente espero la resurreción de los muertos que estoy siendo juzgado."
Entonces Pablo, sabiendo que la una parte era de Saduceos, y la otra de Fariseos, clamó en el concilio: Varones hermanos, yo soy Fariseo, hijo de Fariseo: de la esperanza y de la resurrección de los muertos soy yo juzgado.
But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.

Y levantóse un gran clamor: y levantándose los escribas de la parte de los Fariseos, contendían diciendo: Ningún mal hallamos en este hombre; que si espíritu le ha hablado, ó ángel, no resistamos á Dios.
And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees’ part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God.
A great clamor arose, and some of the scribes of the Pharisees’ part stood up, and contended, saying, “We find no evil in this man. But if a spirit or angel has spoken to him, let’s not fight against God!”
Cuando se levantó una gran discución, el jefe de la guardia temió que Pablo fuera despedazado por ellos, así que el ordenó a los soldados a bajar y tomarlo por la fuerza de entre los miembros del concilio, y llevarlo a la fortaleza.
Y habiendo grande disensión, el tribuno, teniendo temor de que Pablo fuese despedazado de ellos, mandó venir soldados, y arrebatarle de en medio de ellos, y llevarle á la fortaleza.
And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle.
When a great argument arose, the commanding officer, fearing that Paul would be torn in pieces by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them and bring him into the barracks.
La siguente noche el Señor se paró junto a él y le dijo, " No tengas miedo, pues como has testificado sobre Mí en Jerusalén, así tienes también que llevar testimonio en Roma."

And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.

Cuando se hizo de día, algunos judíos formaron una conspiración y declararon una maldicion sobre ellos mismos con pacto de no comer ni beber nada hasta que hubieran matado a Pablo.

And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul.

Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you to morrow, as though ye would enquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him.
Now therefore, you with the council inform the commanding officer that he should bring him down to you tomorrow, as though you were going to judge his case more exactly. We are ready to kill him before he comes near.”
Pero el hijo de la hermana de Pablo escuchó que ellos estaban al acecho, así que él fue y entró a la fortaleza y le contó a Pablo.

And when Paul’s sister’s son heard of their lying in wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told Paul.

Pablo llamó a uno de los centuriones y le dijo, "lleva a este joven al capitán, porque tiene algo que contarle. "
Y Pablo, llamando á uno de los centuriones, dice: Lleva á este mancebo al tribuno, porque tiene cierto aviso que darle.
Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him.
Paul summoned one of the centurions and said, “Bring this young man to the commanding officer, for he has something to tell him.”
Así que el centurión tomó al joven y se lo llevó al capitán y le dijo: "Pablo el prisionero me llamó, y me pidió que le trajera este joven. El tiene algo que decirle."
El entonces tomándole, le llevó al tribuno, y dijo: El preso Pablo, llamándome, me rogó que trajese á ti este mancebo, que tiene algo que hablarte.
So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee.
So he took him and brought him to the commanding officer and said, “Paul, the prisoner, summoned me and asked me to bring this young man to you. He has something to tell you.”
El capitán lo tomó de la mano a un lugar privado y le preguntó: "¿Qué es lo que tiene que decirme?"
Y el tribuno, tomándole de la mano y retirándose aparte, le preguntó: ¿Qué es lo que tienes que decirme?
Then the chief captain took him by the hand, and went with him aside privately, and asked him, What is that thou hast to tell me?
The commanding officer took him by the hand, and going aside, asked him privately, “What is it that you have to tell me?”
El joven dijo: "Los judíos han acordado el pedirle que lleve a Pablo mañana al concilio, como si ellos fueran a interrogarlo más precisamente sobre su caso.
Y él dijo: Los Judíos han concertado rogarte que mañana saques á Pablo al concilio, como que han de inquirir de él alguna cosa más cierta.
And he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul to morrow into the council, as though they would enquire somewhat of him more perfectly.
He said, “The Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though intending to inquire somewhat more accurately concerning him.
Pero no se lo entregue a ellos, porque hay más de cuarenta hombres al acecho esperando por él. Ellos mismos se han puesto bajo maldición, de ni siquiera comer ni beber hasta que ellos lo hayan matado. Incluso ahora están listos, esperando por su concentimiento.
Mas tú no los creas; porque más de cuarenta hombres de ellos le acechan, los cuales han hecho voto debajo de maldición, de no comer ni beber hasta que le hayan muerto; y ahora están apercibidos esperando tu promesa.
But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee.
Therefore don’t yield to them, for more than forty men lie in wait for him, who have bound themselves under a curse to neither eat nor drink until they have killed him. Now they are ready, looking for the promise from you.”
Así que el capitán dejó ir al joven, despúes de darle instruciones: "No le digas a nadie que me has contado estas cosas."
Entonces el tribuno despidió al mancebo, mandándole que á nadie dijese que le había dado aviso de esto.
So the chief captain then let the young man depart, and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast shewed these things to me.
So the commanding officer let the young man go, charging him, “Tell no one that you have revealed these things to me.”
Entonces el llamó a dos de sus centuriones y dijo: "Busquen docientos soldados listos para ir tan lejos como hasta Cesarea, y también setenta hombres de a caballo, y docientos lanceros. Ustedes saldrán a la tercera hora de la noche."
Y llamados dos centuriones, mandó que apercibiesen para la hora tercia de la noche doscientos soldados, que fuesen hasta Cesarea, y setenta de á caballo, y doscientos lanceros;
And he called unto him two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Cæsarea, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night;
He called to himself two of the centurions, and said, “Prepare two hundred soldiers to go as far as Caesarea, with seventy horsemen and two hundred men armed with spears, at the third hour of the night.”
También él les ordenó que proveyeran animales que Pablo pudiera montar, y ser llevarlo con seguridad al gobernador Félix.
Y que aparejasen cabalgaduras en que poniendo á Pablo, le llevasen en salvo á Félix el Presidente.
And provide them beasts, that they may set Paul on, and bring him safe unto Felix the governor.

“Claudius Lysias to the most excellent governor Felix: Greetings.
Este hombre fue arrestado por los judíos y estuvo a punto de ser asesinado por ellos, cuando yo llegué a ellos con soldados y lo rescaté, ya que supe que él era un cuidadano Romano.
A este hombre, aprehendido de los Judíos, y que iban ellos á matar, libré yo acudiendo con la tropa, habiendo entendido que era Romano.
This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an army, and rescued him, having understood that he was a Roman.
“This man was seized by the Jews, and was about to be killed by them when I came with the soldiers and rescued him, having learned that he was a Roman.
Yo quise saber por qué ellos lo acusaban, así que lo llevé al concilio.
Y queriendo saber la causa por qué le acusaban, le llevé al concilio de ellos:
And when I would have known the cause wherefore they accused him, I brought him forth into their council:
Desiring to know the cause why they accused him, I brought him down to their council.
Yo supe que él estaba siendo acusado acerca de unas preguntas relacionadas a su propia ley, pero no había ninguna acusación contra él que mereciera la muerte o encarcelamiento.
Y hallé que le acusaban de cuestiones de la ley de ellos, y que ningún crimen tenía digno de muerte ó de prisión.
Whom I perceived to be accused of questions of their law, but to have nothing laid to his charge worthy of death or of bonds.
I found him to be accused about questions of their law, but not to be charged with anything worthy of death or of imprisonment.
Entonces me dejaron saber que había una conspiración en contra del hombre, así que yo inmediatamente te lo envié, y también instruí a sus acusadores a que trajeran sus cargos en contra de él a tu presencia. Me despido."
Mas siéndome dado aviso de asechanzas que le habían aparejado los Judíos, luego al punto le he enviado á ti, intimando también á los acusadores que traten delante de ti lo que tienen contra él. Pásalo bien.
And when it was told me how that the Jews laid wait for the man, I sent straightway to thee, and gave commandment to his accusers also to say before thee what they had against him. Farewell.
When I was told that the Jews lay in wait for the man, I sent him to you immediately, charging his accusers also to bring their accusations against him before you. Farewell.”
Así que los soldados obedecieron sus ordenes. Ellos tomaron a Pablo y lo llevaron por la noche a Antípatris.

Then the soldiers, as it was commanded them, took Paul, and brought him by night to Antipatris.

Al día siguiente, la mayoría de los soldados dejaron a los hombres de a caballo ir con él y ellos regresaron a la fortaleza.

On the morrow they left the horsemen to go with him, and returned to the castle:

Cuando los hombres de a caballo llegaron a Cesarea y le entregaron la carta al gobernador, ellos también le presentaron a Pablo.
Y como llegaron á Cesarea, y dieron la carta al gobernador, presentaron también á Pablo delante de él.
Who, when they came to Cæsarea, and delivered the epistle to the governor, presented Paul also before him.
When they came to Caesarea and delivered the letter to the governor, they also presented Paul to him.
Cuando el gobernador leyó la carta, él preguntó de que provincia era Pablo. Cuando supo que él era de Cilicia,

And when the governor had read the letter, he asked of what province he was. And when he understood that he was of Cilicia;
When the governor had read it, he asked what province he was from. When he understood that he was from Cilicia, he said,
dijo: "Yo te escucharé completamente cuando tus acusadores lleguen aquí." Entonces él le ordenó que lo mantuvieran en los cuárteles generales del gobierno de Herodes.
Te oiré, dijo, cuando vinieren tus acusadores. Y mandó que le guardasen en el pretorio de Herodes.
I will hear thee, said he, when thine accusers are also come. And he commanded him to be kept in Herod’s judgment hall.
“I will hear you fully when your accusers also arrive.” He commanded that he be kept in Herod’s palace.
