Als der Aufruhr sich gelegt hatte, beschied Paulus, die Jünger zu sich und gab ihnen Ermahnungen. Dann verabschiedete er sich und zog fort nach Mazedonien.

Y DESPUÉS que cesó el alboroto, llamando Pablo á los discípulos habiéndoles exhortado y abrazado, se despidió, y partió para ir á Macedonia.

And after the uproar was ceased, Paul called unto him the disciples, and embraced them, and departed for to go into Macedonia.

Er durchzog jene Gegend, ermahnte eindringlich die Jünger und begab sich nach Griechenland.

And when he had gone over those parts, and had given them much exhortation, he came into Greece,

Dort war er drei Monate lang. Als er nach Syrien fahren wollte, planten die Juden einen Anschlag gegen ihn. Deshalb entschloß er sich, den Rückweg über Mazedonien zu nehmen.

Y después de haber estado allí tres meses, y habiendo de navegar á Siria, le fueron puestas asechanzas por los Judíos; y así tomó consejo de volverse por Macedonia.

And there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.

Es begleiteten ihn bis nach Asien: Sopater, der Sohn des Pyrrhus, aus Beröa, Aristarch und Sekundus aus Thessalonich, Gaius aus Derbe, ferner Timotheus sowie Tychikus und Trophimus aus Asien.

Y le acompañaron hasta Asia Sopater Bereense, y los Tesalonicenses, Aristarco y Segundo; y Gayo de Derbe, y Timoteo; y de Asia, Tychîco y Trófimo.

And there accompanied him into Asia Sopater of Berea; and of the Thessalonians, Aristarchus and Secundus; and Gaius of Derbe, and Timotheus; and of Asia, Tychicus and Trophimus.

These accompanied him as far as Asia: Sopater of Beroea, Aristarchus and Secundus of the Thessalonians, Gaius of Derbe, Timothy, and Tychicus and Trophimus of Asia.

Diese reisten voraus und erwarteten uns in Troas.

Ein Jüngling namens Eutychus saß auf der Fensterbank. Da die Predigt des Paulus sich länger hinzog, war er in tiefen Schlaf gesunken, stürzte, vom Schlaf überwältigt, vom dritten Stockwerk hinab und wurde tot aufgehoben.

Y un mancebo llamado Eutichô que estaba sentado en la ventana, tomado de un sueño profundo, como Pablo disputaba largamente, postrado del sueño cayó del tercer piso abajo, y fué alzado muerto.

And there sat in a window a certain young man named Eutychus, being fallen into a deep sleep: and as Paul was long preaching, he sunk down with sleep, and fell down from the third loft, and was taken up dead.

A certain young man named Eutychus sat in the window, weighed down with deep sleep. As Paul spoke still longer, being weighed down by his sleep, he fell down from the third floor and was taken up dead.

Paulus ging hinab, beugte sich über ihn, umfaßte ihn und sagte: "Beunruhigt euch nicht, es ist noch Leben in ihm."

Entonces descendió Pablo, y derribóse sobre él, y abrazándole, dijo: No os alborotéis, que su alma está en él.

And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.

Dann ging er wieder hinauf, brach das Brot und aß. Er redete noch lange, bis zum Tagesanbruch; darauf reiste er ab.

Wir gingen voraus auf das Schiff und segelten nach Assus weiter in der Absicht, dort den Paulus an Bord zu nehmen. So hatte er es nämlich selbst bestimmt; er selbst wollte zu Fuß dahin kommen.

And we went before to ship, and sailed unto Assos, there intending to take in Paul: for so had he appointed, minding himself to go afoot.

Von dort fuhren wir weiter und gelangten anderen Tags auf die Höhe von Chios; am nächsten Tag liefen wir Samos an übernachteten in Trogyllion und gelangten tags darauf nach Milet.

Y navegando de allí, al día siguiente llegamos delante de Chîo, y al otro día tomamos puerto en Samo: y habiendo reposado en Trogilio, al día siguiente llegamos á Mileto.

And we sailed thence, and came the next day over against Chios; and the next day we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium; and the next day we came to Miletus.

Paulus hatte sich nämlich entschlossen an Ephesus vorbeizufahren, um in Asien keine Zeit zu verlieren. Denn er hatte Eile, um womöglich zu Pfingsten in Jerusalem zu sein.

Porque Pablo se había propuesto pasar adelante de Efeso; por no detenerse en Asia: porque se apresuraba por hacer el día de Pentecostés, si le fuese posible, en Jerusalem.

For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

Von Milet sandte er nach Ephesus und beschied die Presbyter der Gemeinde zu sich.

Ich habe dem Herrn gedient in aller Demut unter Tränen in Prüfungen, die mir widerfahren sind durch die Nachstellungen der Juden.

Sirviendo al Señor con toda humildad, y con muchas lágrimas, y tentaciones que me han venido por las asechanzas de los Judíos:

Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:

Ich habe nichts versäumt und habe euch alles verkündigt und gelehrt, was euch zuträglich sein könnte, öffentlich, wie auch von Haus zu Haus.

And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly, and from house to house,

Und ich beschwor die Juden wie die Heiden, sie möchten sich zu Gott bekehren und an unseren Herrn Jesus glauben.

Testificando á los Judíos y á los Gentiles arrepentimiento para con Dios, y la fe en nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Allein, ich halte mein Leben nicht der Rede wert, wenn ich nur meinen Lauf vollende und meine Aufgabe erfülle, die ich vom Herrn Jesus erhalten habe: das Evangelium von der Gnade Gottes zu verkünden.

Mas de ninguna cosa hago caso, ni estimo mi vida preciosa para mí mismo; solamente que acabe mi carrera con gozo, y el ministerio que recibí del Señor Jesús, para dar testimonio del evangelio de la gracia de Dios.

But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

But these things don’t count; nor do I hold my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to fully testify to the Good News of the grace of God.

Seht, ich weiß, was mich anbetrifft, daß ihr mich nicht mehr von Angesicht zu Angesicht sehen werdet, ihr alle, bei denen ich als Prediger des Reiches wandelte.

Habt acht auf euch und auf die ganze Herde, in der euch der Heilige Geist zu Bischöfen bestellt hat, die Kirche Gottes zu weiden, die er für sich erworben hat mit dem Blute eines, der sein eigen ist.

Por tanto mirad por vosotros, y por todo el rebaño en que el Espíritu Santo os ha puesto por obispos, para apacentar la iglesia del Señor, la cual ganó por su sangre.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Ich weiß: Nach meinem Weggang dringen wilde Wölfe bei euch ein und schonen nicht die Herde;

Ja, selbst aus eurer Mitte werden Männer auftreten, die mit verkehrten Reden die Jünger auf ihre Seite ziehen wollen.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

So seid denn wachsam und denkt stets daran, wie ich drei Jahre lang bei Tag und Nacht nicht aufgehört habe, mit Tränen einen jeden einzeln zu mahnen.

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Und nun empfehle ich euch Gott und dem Worte seiner Gnade. Er nur vermag es, euch aufzubauen und euch inmitten aller Heiligen das Erbe zu verleihen.

Silber, Gold oder Kleider habe ich von keinem einzigen begehrt.

In allem habe ich euch gezeigt, daß man durch Arbeit sich der Schwachen annehmen soll, der Worte des Herrn Jesus eingedenk, wie er selbst gesagt hat: 'Geben ist seliger als Nehmen.'"

En todo os he enseñado que, trabajando así, es necesario sobrellevar á los enfermos, y tener presente las palabras del Señor Jesús, el cual dijo: Más bienaventurada cosa es dar que recibir.

I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

In all things I gave you an example, that so laboring you ought to help the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”

Nach diesen Worten kniete er mit allen nieder und betete.

Am meisten betrübten sie sich über das Wort, als er gesagt hatte, daß sie ihn nicht mehr von Angesicht sehen würden. Sodann gaben sie ihm das Geleit bis ans Schiff.
