Il y passa trois mois. Comme un complot était ourdi contre lui par les Juifs alors qu'il s'apprêtait à s'embarquer pour la Syrie, il décida de retourner par la Macédoine.

Y después de haber estado allí tres meses, y habiendo de navegar á Siria, le fueron puestas asechanzas por los Judíos; y así tomó consejo de volverse por Macedonia.

And there abode three months. And when the Jews laid wait for him, as he was about to sail into Syria, he purposed to return through Macedonia.

When he had spent three months there, and a plot was made against him by Jews as he was about to set sail for Syria, he determined to return through Macedonia.
