Ma quegli unitisi insieme gli domandavano dicendo: Signore, renderai tu adesso il regno ad Israele?
Entonces los que se habían juntado le preguntaron, diciendo: Señor, ¿restituirás el reino á Israel en este tiempo?
When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Egli però disse loro: Non si appartiene a voi di sapere i tempi, e imomenti, i quali il Padre ha ritenuti in poter suo:

And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

E detto questo, a vista di essi si alzò in alto: e una nuvola lo tolse agli occhi loro.

E in quello che stavano fissamente mirando lui, che saliva al cielo, ecco che due personaggi in bianche vesti si appressarono ad essi.

Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Allora ritornarono a Gerusalemme dal monte, che dicesi dell'Uliveto, il quale è vicino a Gerusalemme, quant'è il viaggio d'un giorno di sabato.

Pietro confuta quei, che dicevano, che eglino erano ubriachi, citando tralle altre cose la profezia di Gioele, e compunti i Giudei, udita l'esortazione di Pietro, si convertono circa tremila persone a Cristo; perseverano insieme nella dottrina degli Apostoli, nella frazione del pane, e nell’orazione, avendo tutte le cose in comune.
