Ma quegli avendo tutti preso Sostene principe della Sinagoga, lo battevano dinanzi al tribunale: e Gallione non si prendeva fastidio di niuna di queste cose.

Entonces todos los Griegos tomando á Sóstenes, prepósito de la sinagoga, le herían delante del tribunal: y á Galión nada se le daba de ello.

Then all the Greeks took Sosthenes, the chief ruler of the synagogue, and beat him before the judgment seat. And Gallio cared for none of those things.
