Por lo tanto, ya que nosotros somos descendencia de Dios, no debemos pensar que las cualidades de su deidad son como el oro, o la plata, o piedras esculpidas - imágenes creadas por el arte e imaginación de hombre.

Siendo pues linaje de Dios, no hemos de estimar la Divinidad ser semejante á oro, ó á plata, ó á piedra, escultura de artificio ó de imaginación de hombres.

Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold, or silver, or stone, engraved by art and design of man.
