E alcuni che eran venuti dalla Giudea, insegnavano ai fratelli: se voi non vi circoncidete secondo il rito di Mosè, non potete essere salvi.

ENTONCES algunos que venían de Judea enseñaban á los hermanos: Que si no os circuncidáis conforme al rito de Moisés, no podéis ser salvos.

And certain men which came down from Judæa taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.

Some men came down from Judea and taught the brothers, “Unless you are circumcised after the custom of Moses, you can’t be saved.”

Essendovi adunque stato non piccol contrasto di Paolo, e di Barnaba con essi, fu stabilito, che Paolo e Barnaba, e alcuni dell'altra parte andassero per tal questione a Gerusalemme dagli Apostoli, e da' seniori.

Así que, suscitada una disensión y contienda no pequeña á Pablo y á Bernabé contra ellos, determinaron que subiesen Pablo y Bernabé á Jerusalem, y algunos otros de ellos, á los apóstoles y á los ancianos, sobre esta cuestión.

When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.

Therefore when Paul and Barnabas had no small discord and discussion with them, they appointed Paul, Barnabas, and some others of them to go up to Jerusalem to the apostles and elders about this question.

Eglino adunque accompagnati dalla Chiesa si partirono, e passarono per la Fenicia, e per la Samaria, raccontando la conversione delle genti, e apportando grande allegrezza a tutti i fratelli.

Ellos, pues, habiendo sido acompañados de la iglesia, pasaron por la Fenicia y Samaria, contando la conversión de los Gentiles; y daban gran gozo á todos los hermanos.

And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

E arrivati a Gerusalemme furono ricevuti dalla Chiesa, e dagli Apostoli, e da' seniori, e raccontarono, quanto grandi cose avesse Dio fatte con essi.

Y llegados á Jerusalem, fueron recibidos de la iglesia y de los apóstoles y de los ancianos: y refirieron todas las cosas que Dios había hecho con ellos.

And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.

Ma (dicevano) si sono levati su alcuni della setta de' Farisei, i quali hanno creduto, e dicono, che è necessario, che essi si circoncidano, e si intimi loro l'osservanza della legge di Mosè.

Mas algunos de la secta de los Fariseos, que habían creído, se levantaron, diciendo: Que es menester circuncidarlos, y mandarles que guarden la ley de Moisés.

But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.

But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.”

E si adunarono gli Apostoli, e i sacerdoti per disaminar questa cosa.

Y se juntaron los apóstoles y los ancianos para conocer de este negocio.

And the apostles and elders came together for to consider of this matter.

E dopo matura discussione alzatosi Pietro disse loro: uomini fratelli, voi sapete, come fin da principio Dio fra noi elesse, che per bocca mia udisser i Gentili la parola del Vangelo, credessero.

Y habiendo habido grande contienda, levantándose Pedro, les dijo: Varones hermanos, vosotros sabéis cómo ya hace algún tiempo que Dios escogió que los Gentiles oyesen por mi boca la palabra del evangelio, y creyesen.

And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word of the gospel, and believe.

When there had been much discussion, Peter rose up and said to them, “Brothers, you know that a good while ago God made a choice among you that by my mouth the nations should hear the word of the Good News and believe.

E Dio, conoscitore de' cuori si dichiarò per essi, dando loro lo Spirito santo, come anche a noi,

Y Dios, que conoce los corazones, les dió testimonio, dándoles el Espíritu Santo también como á nosotros;

And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us;

God, who knows the heart, testified about them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.

E non fece differenza alcuna tra loro e noi, purificando con la fede i loro cuori.

Y ninguna diferencia hizo entre nosotros y ellos, purificando con la fe sus corazones.

And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.

He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

Adesso adunque perché tentate voi Dio per imporre sul collo de' discepoli un giogo, che né i padri nostri, né noi abbiamo potuto portare?

Ahora pues, ¿por qué tentáis á Dios, poniendo sobre la cerviz de los discípulos yugo, que ni nuestros padres ni nosotros hemos podido llevar?

Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?

Ma per la grazia del Signore Gesù Cristo crediamo essere salvati nello stesso modo, che essi.

E tutta la moltitudine si tacque: e ascoltavano Barnaba, e Paolo raccontare, quanti segni, e miracoli avesse fatti Dio fra le genti per mezzo di essi.

Entonces toda la multitud calló, y oyeron á Bernabé y á Pablo, que contaban cuán grandes maravillas y señales Dios había hecho por ellos entre los Gentiles.

Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.

E dopo che questi ebber fatto silenzio, rispose Giacomo, e disse: uomini fratelli ascoltate me.

After they were silent, James answered, “Brothers, listen to me.

Simone ha raccontato, come da principio Dio dispose di prendere dalle genti un popolo pel suo nome.

Simón ha contado cómo Dios primero visitó á los Gentiles, para tomar de ellos pueblo para su nombre;

Simeon hath declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.

E con questo vanno d'accordo le parole de' profeti, come sta scritto:

And to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,

Dopo queste cose io ritornerò, o riedificherò il tabernacolo di Davidde che è caduto: e ristorerò le sue rovine, e lo rimetterò in piedi:

Después de esto volveré y restauraré la habitación de David, que estaba caída; y repararé sus ruinas, y la volveré á levantar;

After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:

‘After these things I will return. I will again build the tabernacle of David, which has fallen. I will again build its ruins. I will set it up

Affinchè cerchino il Signore tutti gli altri uomini, e le genti tutte, sopra le quali è stato invocato il nome mio, dice il Signore, che fa queste cose.

Para que el resto de los hombres busque al Señor, y todos los Gentiles, sobre los cuales es llamado mi nombre, dice el Señor, que hace todas estas cosas.

That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

that the rest of men may seek after the Lord: all the Gentiles who are called by my name, says the Lord, who does all these things.’

E nota ab eterno a Dio l'opera sua.

Conocidas son á Dios desde el siglo todas sus obras.

Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.

“All of God’s works are known to him from eternity.

Quindi io pudico, che non s'inquietino quelli, che dal gentilesimo si convertono a Dio;

Por lo cual yo juzgo, que los que de los Gentiles se convierten á Dios, no han de ser inquietados;

Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:

Therefore my judgment is that we don’t trouble those from among the Gentiles who turn to God,

Ma che scrivasi loro, che astengansi dalle immondezze degli idoli, e dalla fornicazione, e dal soffogato, e dal sangue.

Sino escribirles que se aparten de las contaminaciones de los ídolos, y de fornicación, y de ahogado, y de sangre.

But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

but that we write to them that they abstain from the pollution of idols, from sexual immorality, from what is strangled, and from blood.

Imperocché Mosè fino dagli antichi tempi ha in ciascuna città chi lo predica nelle Sinagoghe, dove vien letto ogni Sabbato.

Porque Moisés desde los tiempos antiguos tiene en cada ciudad quien le predique en las sinagogas, donde es leído cada sábado.

For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.

For Moses from generations of old has in every city those who preach him, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

Allora piacque agli Apostoli, e a' sacerdoti con tutta la Chiesa, che si mandassero persone elette de' loro ad Antiochia con Paolo e Barnaba, cioè Giuda soprannominato Barsaba, e Sila, uomini de' primi tra i fratelli,

Entonces pareció bien á los apóstoles y á los ancianos, con toda la iglesia, elegir varones de ellos, y enviarlos á Antioquía con Pablo y Bernabé: á Judas que tenía por sobrenombre Barsabas, y á Silas, varones principales entre los hermanos;

Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:

Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole assembly, to choose men out of their company, and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas: Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, chief men among the brothers.

Ponendo nelle loro mani questa lettera: gli Apostoli, e i sacerdoti fratelli ai fratelli Gentili, che sono in Antiochia, nella Siria, e nella Cilicia, salute.

Y escribir por mano de ellos: Los apóstoles y los ancianos y los hermanos, á los hermanos de los Gentiles que están en Antioquía, y en Siria, y en Cilicia, salud:

And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia:

They wrote these things by their hand: “The apostles, the elders, and the brothers, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: greetings.

Giacché abbiamo udito, che i discorsi di alcuni venuti da noi (a' quali non ne abbiam dato commissione) vi hanno arrecato turbamento, sconvolgendo gli animi vostri:

Por cuanto hemos oído que algunos que han salido de nosotros, os han inquietado con palabras, trastornando vuestras almas, mandando circuncidaros y guardar la ley, á los cuales no mandamos;

Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

Because we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, ‘You must be circumcised and keep the law,’ to whom we gave no commandment;

E partito a noi radunati insieme di eleggere alcuni uomini e mandargli a voi con i carissimi nostri Barnaba e Paolo,

Nos ha parecido, congregados en uno, elegir varones, y enviarlos á vosotros con nuestros amados Bernabé y Pablo,

It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

it seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose out men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,

Uomini, che hanno esposte le loro vite pel nome del Signor nostro Gesù Cristo.

Hombres que han expuesto sus vidas por el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo.

Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Abbiam pertanto mandato Giuda e Sila, i quali vi riferiranno anch'essi a bocca le stesse cose.

Así que, enviamos á Judas y á Silas, los cuales también por palabra os harán saber lo mismo.

We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth.

Imperocché è paruto allo Spirito santo, e a noi, di non imporre a voi altro peso, fuori di queste cose necessarie:

Que ha parecido bien al Espíritu Santo, y á nosotros, no imponeros ninguna carga más que estas cosas necesarias:

For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;

For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay no greater burden on you than these necessary things:

Che vi astenghiate dalle cose immolate agli idoli, e dal sangue, e dal soffocato, e dalla fornicazione; dalle quali cose guardandovi, ben farete. State sani.

Que os abstengáis de cosas sacrificadas á ídolos, y de sangre, y de ahogado, y de fornicación; de las cuales cosas si os guardareis, bien haréis. Pasadlo bien.

That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

that you abstain from things sacrificed to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality, from which if you keep yourselves, it will be well with you. Farewell.”

Quegli adunque licenziatisi andarono ad Antiochia: e raunata la moltitudine, consegnaron la lettera.

Ellos entonces enviados, descendieron á Antioquía; y juntando la multitud, dieron la carta.

So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:

Letta la quale si rallegrarono della consolazione.

La cual, como leyeron, fueron gozosos de la consolación.

Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.

When they had read it, they rejoiced over the encouragement.

Giuda poi, e Sila, essendo anch'essi profeti, con lunghi ragionamenti consolarono, e confortarono i fratelli.

Judas también y Silas, como ellos también eran profetas, consolaron y confirmaron á los hermanos con abundancia de palabra.

And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, and confirmed them.

Judas and Silas, also being prophets themselves, encouraged the brothers with many words and strengthened them.

Ed essendosi ivi trattenuti per qualche tempo furono dai fratelli rimandati in pace a que' che gli avevano inviati.

Y pasando allí algún tiempo, fueron enviados de los hermanos á los apóstoles en paz.

And after they had tarried there a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.

After they had spent some time there, they were dismissed in peace from the brothers to the apostles.

Piacque però a Sila di restar ivi: e Giuda solo se v'andò a Gerusalemme.

Mas á Silas pareció bien el quedarse allí.

Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.

Paolo poi, e Barnaba dimoravano in Antiochia, insegnando, ed evangelizzando con molti altri la parola del Signore.

Y Pablo y Bernabé se estaban en Antioquía, enseñando la palabra del Señor y anunciando el evangelio con otros muchos.

Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

But Paul and Barnabas stayed in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

E dopo alcuni giorni disse Paolo a Barnaba: torniamo a visitare i fratelli in tutte le città, nelle quali abbiam predicato la parola del Signore (per vedere) come se la passino.

Y después de algunos días, Pablo dijo á Bernabé: Volvamos á visitar á los hermanos por todas las ciudades en las cuales hemos anunciado la palabra del Señor, cómo están.

And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord, and see how they do.

After some days Paul said to Barnabas, “Let’s return now and visit our brothers in every city in which we proclaimed the word of the Lord, to see how they are doing.”

Ma Barnaba voleva prender seco anche Giovanni soprannominato Marco.

Y Bernabé quería que tomasen consigo á Juan, el que tenía por sobrenombre Marcos;

And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.

Barnabas planned to take John, who was called Mark, with them also.

E Paolo gli metteva in vista, che uno, che si era ritirato da essi nella Panfilia, e non era andato con loro a quella impresa, non doveva riceversi.

Mas á Pablo no le parecía bien llevar consigo al que se había apartado de ellos desde Pamphylia, y no había ido con ellos á la obra.

But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.

But Paul didn’t think that it was a good idea to take with them someone who had withdrawn from them in Pamphylia, and didn’t go with them to do the work.

E ne segui dissensione, di modo che si separarono l'uno dall'altro; e Barnaba preso seco Marco navigò a Cipro.

Y hubo tal contención entre ellos, que se apartaron el uno del otro; y Bernabé tomando á Marcos, navegó á Cipro.

And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;

Then the contention grew so sharp that they separated from each other. Barnabas took Mark with him and sailed away to Cyprus,

E Paolo elettosi Sila si partì raccommandato da' fratelli alla grazia di Dio.

Y Pablo escogiendo á Silas, partió encomendado de los hermanos á la gracia del Señor.

And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.

but Paul chose Silas and went out, being commended by the brothers to the grace of God.

E fece il giro della Siria e della Cilicia, confermando le Chiese: comandando, che si osservassero gli ordini degli Apostoli, e de' sacerdoti. Paolo in Listri preso seco Timoteo lo circoncide, e in varie città insegna l'osservanza de’ precetti Apostolici. Lo Spirito Santo proibisce loro di predicare nell'Asia, e nella Bitinia. Chiamato in visione Paolo nella Macedonia, vanno colà, e predicando da prima in Filippi sono ricevuti in casa da Lidia; ma avendo Paolo cacciato uno spirito pitone, battuti con verghe sono messi in carcere. Succede un tremuoto; e spezzati i loro legami il custode della carcere si converte. Il dì seguente i magistrati li pregano a partirsi dalla città.

Y anduvo la Siria y la Cilicia, confirmando á las iglesias.

And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.
