Después que él vio que ésto le agradó a los Judíos, él procedió a arrestar a Pedro también. Eso fue durante los días de los panes sin levadura.

Miren, un ángel del Señor de repente se le apareció, y una luz brilló en la celda. Él tocó a Pedro en un costado y lo despertó diciéndole: "Levántate rápido." Entonces sus cadenas cayeron de sus manos.

And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.

El ángel le dijo: "Vístete y ponte las sandalias." Pedro lo hizo. El ángel le dijo: "Ponte tu vestimenta exterior y sígueme."

And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me.
The angel said to him, “Get dressed and put on your sandals.” He did so. He said to him, “Put on your cloak and follow me.”
Entonces Pedro siguió al ángel y salió. Él no sabía que lo que fue hecho por el ángel era real. Él pensó que estaba viendo una visión.

And he went out, and followed him; and wist not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.

Después que ellos habían pasado la primera y la segunda guardia, ellos llegaron a la puerta de hierro que daba a la ciudad; ésta se abrió por sí sola. Ellos salieron y fueron calle abajo, y el ángel lo dejó inmediatamente.
Y como pasaron la primera y la segunda guardia, vinieron á la puerta de hierro que va á la ciudad, la cual se les abrió de suyo: y salidos, pasaron una calle; y luego el ángel se apartó de él.
When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.

Entonces Pedro, volviendo en sí, dijo: Ahora entiendo verdaderamente que el Señor ha enviado su ángel, y me ha librado de la mano de Herodes, y de todo el pueblo de los Judíos que me esperaba.
And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know of a surety, that the Lord hath sent his angel, and hath delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
When Peter had come to himself, he said, “Now I truly know that the Lord has sent out his angel and delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from everything the Jewish people were expecting.”
Cuando él se dio cuenta de ésto, él fue a la casa de María la madre de Juan tambien llamado Marcos; muchos creyentes estaban reunidos allí y estaban orando.
Y habiendo considerado esto, llegó á casa de María la madre de Juan, el que tenía por sobrenombre Marcos, donde muchos estaban juntos orando.
And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.

Cuando el tocó a la puerta de entrada, una jóven sirvienta llamada Rode salió a responderle.
Y tocando Pedro á la puerta del patio, salió una muchacha, para escuchar, llamada Rhode:
And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.

Cuando ella reconoció la voz de Pedro, de gozo ella falló en abrir la puerta; en su lugar, ella llegó corriendo dentro del cuarto; ella dijo que Pedro estaba parado a la puerta.
La cual como conoció la voz de Pedro, de gozo no abrió el postigo, sino corriendo adentro, dió nueva de que Pedro estaba al postigo.
And when she knew Peter’s voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.
When she recognized Peter’s voice, she didn’t open the gate for joy, but ran in and reported that Peter was standing in front of the gate.
Entonces ellos le dijeron: "Tú estás loca." Pero ella insistió que era así. Ellos dijeron: "Es su ángel."

And they said unto her, Thou art mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.
They said to her, “You are crazy!” But she insisted that it was so. They said, “It is his angel.”
Pero Pedro continuó tocando, y cuando ellos abrieron la puerta, lo vieron y estaban sorprendidos.
Mas Pedro perseveraba en llamar: y cuando abrieron, viéronle, y se espantaron.
But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.

Pedro les hizo señas con su mano para que estuvieran en silencio, y él les contó como el Señor lo había sacado de la cárcel. Él dijo: "Informa estas cosas a Santiago y los hermanos." Entonces él se fue a otro lugar.
Mas él haciéndoles con la mano señal de que callasen, les contó cómo el Señor le había sacado de la cárcel. Y dijo: Haced saber esto á Jacobo y á los hermanos. Y salió, y partió á otro lugar.
But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go shew these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.
But he, beckoning to them with his hand to be silent, declared to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. He said, “Tell these things to James and to the brothers.” Then he departed and went to another place.
Ahora cuando se hizo de día, había una gran conmoción entre los soldados, en cuanto a lo que había sucedido con Pedro.

And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went down from Judæa to Cæsarea, and there abode.

Ahora Herodes estaba muy enojado con la gente de Tiro y Sidón. Ellos fueron juntos a él. Ellos persuadieron a Blasto, el asistente del rey, para que los ayudara. Entonces ellos pidieron paz, porque su país recibió sus provisiones del país del rey.
Y Herodes estaba enojado contra los de Tiro y los de Sidón: mas ellos vinieron concordes á él, y sobornado Blasto, que era el camarero del rey, pedían paz; porque las tierras de ellos eran abastecidas por las del rey.
And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king’s chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king’s country.
Now Herod was very angry with the people of Tyre and Sidon. They came with one accord to him and, having made Blastus, the king’s personal aide, their friend, they asked for peace, because their country depended on the king’s country for food.
En el día señalado, Herodes se vistió de ropa real y se sentó en el trono; y les dio un discurso.

And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.
On an appointed day, Herod dressed himself in royal clothing, sat on the throne, and gave a speech to them.
La gente gritaba: "¡Esta es la voz de un dios, no de un hombre!"
Y el pueblo aclamaba: Voz de Dios, y no de hombre.
And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.

Inmediatamente un ángel del Señor lo hirió, porque no le había dado gloria a Dios; él fue comido por gusanos y murió.
Y luego el ángel del Señor le hirió, por cuanto no dió la gloria á Dios; y espiró comido de gusanos.
And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.
