Herodes aber, da er nach ihm fragen ließ und ihn nicht fand, verhörte die Wachen und ließ sie abführen, und gieng von Judäa nach Cäsarea und hielt sich da auf.

Mas Herodes, como le buscó y no le halló, hecha inquisición de los guardas, los mandó llevar. Después descendiendo de Judea á Cesarea, se quedó allí.

And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went down from Judæa to Cæsarea, and there abode.
