2 Timoteo 1

Paolo Apostolo di Gesù Cristo per volontà di Dio, secondo la promessa della vita, la quale è in Cristo Gesù:

A Timoteo figliuolo carissimo, grazia, misericordia, pace da Dio Padre, e da Cristo Gesù Signor nostro.

A Timoteo, amado hijo: Gracia, misericordia, y paz de Dios el Padre y de Jesucristo nuestro Señor.

To Timothy, my dearly beloved son: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rendo grazie a Dio, cui co' pro genitori io servo con pura coscienza, perché assiduamente ho memoria di te nelle orazioni mie notte, e giorno,

Doy gracias á Dios, al cual sirvo desde mis mayores con limpia conciencia, de que sin cesar tengo memoria de ti en mis oraciones noche y día;

I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

I thank God, whom I serve as my forefathers did, with a pure conscience. How unceasing is my memory of you in my petitions, night and day

Bramoso di vederti (ricordandomi delle tue lagrime) per ricolmarmi di gaudio,

Deseando verte, acordándome de tus lágrimas, para ser lleno de gozo;

Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;

longing to see you, remembering your tears, that I may be filled with joy;

Richiamandomi alla memoria quella, che è in te, fede non finta, quale ella fu prima nell'avola tua Loide, e nella madre tua Eunice, e sono certo, che è anche in te.

Trayendo á la memoria la fe no fingida que hay en ti, la cual residió primero en tu abuela Loida, y en tu madre Eunice; y estoy cierto que en ti también.

When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

having been reminded of the sincere faith that is in you, which lived first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, in you also.

Per la qual cosa ti rammento di ravvivare la grazia di Dio, che è in te mediante l'imposizione delle mie mani.

Por lo cual te aconsejo que despiertes el don de Dios, que está en ti por la imposición de mis manos.

Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

For this cause, I remind you that you should stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

Imperocché non ha dato a noi Iddio uno spirito di timidità, ma di fortezza, e di dilezione, e di saggezza:

Porque no nos ha dado Dios el espíritu de temor, sino el de fortaleza, y de amor, y de templanza.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

Non volere adunque arrossirti della testimonianza del Signor nostro, né di me prigioniero per lui: ma partecipa ai travagli del vangelo secondo la virtù di Dio:

Por tanto no te avergüences del testimonio de nuestro Señor, ni de mí, preso suyo; antes sé participante de los trabajos del evangelio según la virtud de Dios,

Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

Therefore don’t be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but endure hardship for the Good News according to the power of God,

Il quale ci ha liberati, e ci ha chiamati con la vocazione sua santa, non per le opere nostre, ma secondo il suo proponimento, e secondo la grazia, la quale a noi è stata data in Cristo Gesù, prima che cominciasser i secoli.

Que nos salvó y llamó con vocación santa, no conforme á nuestras obras, mas según el intento suyo y gracia, la cual nos es dada en Cristo Jesús antes de los tiempos de los siglos,

Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Ma si è manifestata adesso per l'apparizione del Salvator nostro Gesù Cristo, il quale e ha distrutta la morte, e ha rivelata la vita, e l'immortalità per mezzo del vangelo:

Mas ahora es manifestada por la aparición de nuestro Salvador Jesucristo, el cual quitó la muerte, y sacó á la luz la vida y la inmortalidad por el evangelio;

But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News.

Pel quale sono stato io costituito predicatore, e Apostolo, e dottor delle, genti.

Del cual yo soy puesto predicador, y apóstol, y maestro de los Gentiles.

Where unto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

For this I was appointed as a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

Per la qual cagione eziandio queste cose io patisco, ma non ne arrossisco. Imperocché conosco, di chi mi sono fidato, e son certo, che egli è potente a conservare il mio deposito sino a quella giornata.

Por lo cual asimismo padezco esto: mas no me avergüenzo; porque yo sé á quien he creído, y estoy cierto que es poderoso para guardar mi depósito para aquel día.

For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

For this cause I also suffer these things. Yet I am not ashamed, for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard that which I have committed to him against that day.

Tieni la forma delle sane parole, che hai udite da me con la fede, e la carità in Cristo Gesù.

Retén la forma de las sanas palabras que de mí oíste, en la fe y amor que es en Cristo Jesús.

Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Hold the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

Custodisci il buon deposito per mezzo dello Spirito Santo, che abita in noi.

Guarda el buen depósito por el Espíritu Santo que habita en nosotros.

That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.

That good thing which was committed to you, guard through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

Tu sai, come si sono da me alienati tutti quelli, che sono nell'Asia, tra' quali è Figello, ed Ermogene.

Ya sabes esto, que me han sido contrarios todos los que son en Asia, de los cuales son Figello y Hermógenes.

This thou knowest, that all they which are in Asia be turned away from me; of whom are Phygellus and Hermogenes.

This you know, that all who are in Asia turned away from me, of whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.

Faccia il Signore misericordia alla famiglia di Onesiforo: perché spesso mi ha ristorato, e non si è vergognato della mia catena:

Dé el Señor misericordia á la casa de Onesíforo; que muchas veces me refrigeró, y no se avergonzó de mi cadena:

The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:

May the Lord grant mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain,

Anzi arrivato egli a Roma, cercò premurosamente di me, e mi trovò.

Antes, estando él en Roma, me buscó solícitamente, y me halló.

But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.

Diagli il Signore di trovare misericordia presso il Signore in quel giorno. E quante cose fece per me in Efeso, tu lo sai benissimo. Esorta Timoteo ad insegnare in sincera dottrina, e a patire per Cristo, rammentandogli il premio futuro, e la risurrezione di Cristo: come debba fuggire le contese, e profane dicerie, e le pazze dispute intorno alla legge: della casa grande, in cui sono vasi di molle maniere: quali virtudi debba coltivare il servo di Dio.

Déle el Señor que halle misericordia cerca del Señor en aquel día. Y cuánto nos ayudó en Efeso, tú lo sabes mejor.

The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.

(the Lord grant to him to find the Lord’s mercy in that day); and in how many things he served at Ephesus, you know very well.
