Ahora, hermanos, oren por nosotros, para que la palabra del Señor sea esparcida rápidamente y sea glorificada, así como lo fue con ustedes.
RESTA, hermanos, que oréis por nosotros, que la palabra del Señor corra y sea glorificada así como entre vosotros:
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:
Finally, brothers, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, even as also with you,
Oren para que podamos ser liberados de las personas perversas y malvadas, pues no todos tienen fe.
Y que seamos librados de hombres importunos y malos; porque no es de todos la fe.
And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men; for not all have faith.
Pero el Señor es fiel, quien les establecerá y guardará del maligno.
Mas fiel es el Señor, que os confirmará y guardará del mal.
But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
Nosotros tenemos confianza en el Señor en cuanto a ustedes, que ustedes ambos hagan y continúen haciendo las cosas que nosotros le ordenamos.
Y tenemos confianza de vosotros en el Señor, que hacéis y haréis lo que os hemos mandado.
And we have confidence in the Lord touching you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command you.
We have confidence in the Lord concerning you, that you both do and will do the things we command.
Que el Señor dirija sus corazones al amor de Dios y a la perseverancia en Cristo.
Y el Señor enderece vuestros corazones en el amor de Dios, y en la paciencia de Cristo.
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and into the perseverance of Christ.
Ahora les ordenamos, hermanos, en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que ustedes eviten a todo hermano que viva ociosamente, no de acuerdo a las tradiciones que ustedes recibieron de nosotros.
Empero os denunciamos, hermanos, en el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que os apartéis de todo hermano que anduviere fuera de orden, y no conforme á la doctrina que recibieron de nosotros:
Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
Now we command you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw yourselves from every brother who walks in rebellion and not after the tradition which they received from us.
Pues ustedes mismos saben que es propio para ustedes imitarnos. Nosotros no vivimos entre ustedes como alguien que no tenía disciplina.
Porque vosotros mismos sabéis de qué manera debéis imitarnos: porque no anduvimos desordenadamente entre vosotros,
For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
For you know how you ought to imitate us. For we didn’t behave ourselves rebelliously among you,
Y no comimos la comida de nadie sin pagar por ella. En su lugar, trabajamos noche y día en trabajos difíciles y con esfuerzo, para no ser una carga a ninguno de ustedes.
Ni comimos el pan de ninguno de balde; antes, obrando con trabajo y fatiga de noche y de día, por no ser gravosos á ninguno de vosotros;
Neither did we eat any man’s bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
neither did we eat bread from anyone’s hand without paying for it, but in labor and travail worked night and day, that we might not burden any of you.
Hicimos esto, no porque no tenemos autoridad. Al contrario, hicimos esto para ser un ejemplo a ustedes, para que así ustedes puedan imitarnos.
No porque no tuviésemos potestad, sino por daros en nosotros un dechado, para que nos imitaseis.
Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
This was not because we don’t have the right, but to make ourselves an example to you, that you should imitate us.
Cuando estuvimos con ustedes les ordenamos: "Si alguno no quiere trabajar, él no debería comer".
Porque aun estando con vosotros, os denunciábamos esto: Que si alguno no quisiere trabajar, tampoco coma.
For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: “If anyone is not willing to work, don’t let him eat.”
Porque nosotros escuchamos que algunos entre ustedes caminan ociosamente. Ellos no trabajan pero en su lugar son entrometidos.
Porque oímos que andan algunos entre vosotros fuera de orden, no trabajando en nada, sino ocupados en curiosear.
For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
For we hear of some who walk among you in rebellion, who don’t work at all, but are busybodies.
Ahora nosotros les ordenamos a esos y les exhortamos en el Señor Jesucristo, que ellos deberían trabajar silenciosamente y comer su propia comida.
Y á los tales requerimos y rogamos por nuestro Señor Jesucristo, que, trabajando con reposo, coman su pan.
Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that they work with quietness and eat their own bread.
Pero ustedes, hermanos, no se desanimen en hacer lo que es correcto.
Y vosotros, hermanos, no os canséis de hacer bien.
But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
But you, brothers, don’t be weary in doing what is right.
Si alguno no obedece nuestra palabra en esta carta, tomen nota de él y no se asocien con él, para que él pueda avergonzarse.
Y si alguno no obedeciere á nuestra palabra por carta, notad al tal, y no os juntéis con él, para que se avergüence.
And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
If any man doesn’t obey our word in this letter, note that man and have no company with him, to the end that he may be ashamed.
No lo consideren a él un enemigo, pero adviértanle como a un hermano.
Mas no lo tengáis como á enemigo, sino amonestadle como á hermano.
Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
Don’t count him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
Que el mismo Dios de paz les dé paz en todo momento en sus caminos. El Señor sea con todos ustedes.
Y el mismo Señor de paz os dé siempre paz en toda manera. El Señor sea con todos vosotros.
Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with you all.
Éste es mi saludo, Pablo, con mi propia mano, la cual es la firma en toda carta. Así es como yo escribo.
