Então Davi colocou guarnições na Síria de Damasco; e os sírios se tornaram servos de Davi, e traziam tributos. O SENHOR dava vitória a Davi por onde quer que ele fosse.

Puso luego David guarnición en Siria la de Damasco, y fueron los Siros siervos de David sujetos á tributo. Y Jehová guardó á David donde quiera que fué.

Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus: and the Syrians became servants to David, and brought gifts. And the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.
