E David diede l'ordine a' suoi servi, e questi gli uccisero: e troncate loro le mani, e i piedi, gli appiccarono sopra la piscina di Hebron: e preso il capo d'Isboseth, lo seppellirono nel sepolcro di Abner in Hebron. Davidde unto re di tutto Israele, cacciati li Jebusei, prende la fortezza di Sion, e fabbricatovi un palazzo, quivi abitò. Prende delle altre mogli, e ne ha de’ figliuoli; e per due volte abbatte i Filistei.
