27Cuando Abner regresó a Hebrón, Joab lo apartó en medio de la puerta para hablar con él en voz baja, y lo golpeó allí en el cuerpo, de modo que murió por la sangre de su hermano Asael.

27And when Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside in the gate to speak with him quietly, and smote him there under the fifth rib, that he died, for the blood of Asahel his brother.

27When Abner had returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside into the middle of the gate to speak with him quietly, and struck him there in the body, so that he died for the blood of Asahel his brother.
