2 Samuel 2

Dopo tali cose David consultò il Signore, e disse: Andrò io ad alcuna delle città di Giuda? E il Signore gli disse: Va pure. E disse David: A quale andrò io? E rispose il Signore: Ad Hebron.

DESPUÉS de esto aconteció que David consultó á Jehová, diciendo: ¿Subiré á alguna de las ciudades de Judá? Y Jehová le respondió: Sube. Y David tornó á decir: ¿A dónde subiré? Y él le dijo: A Hebrón.

And it came to pass after this, that David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah? And the LORD said unto him, Go up. And David said, Whither shall I go up? And he said, Unto Hebron.

After this, David inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go up into any of the cities of Judah?” The LORD said to him, “Go up.” David said, “Where shall I go up?” He said, “To Hebron.”

Si partì allora David, e le sue due mogli, Achinoam Jezraelita, e Abigail vedova di Nabal del Carmelo.

Y David subió allá, y con él sus dos mujeres, Ahinoam Jezreelita y Abigail, la que fué mujer de Nabal del Carmelo.

So David went up thither, and his two wives also, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail Nabal’s wife the Carmelite.

E seco condusse David anche tutta la gente che era con lui, ciascuno colla sua famiglia: e dimorarono nelle città intorno ad Hebron.

Y llevó también David consigo los hombres que con él habían estado, cada uno con su familia; los cuales moraron en las ciudades de Hebrón.

And his men that were with him did David bring up, every man with his household: and they dwelt in the cities of Hebron.

E vennero gli uomini di Giuda, e ivi unsero David, perchè fosse re della casa di Giuda. E fu riferito a David, come quelli di Jabes di Galaad avean dato sepoltura a Saul.

Y vinieron los varones de Judá, y ungieron allí á David por rey sobre la casa de Judá. Y dieron aviso á David, diciendo: Los de Jabes de Galaad son los que sepultaron á Saúl.

And the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, That the men of Jabesh-gilead were they that buried Saul.

Spedì adunque David de' messi agli uomini di Jabes di Galaad, e fece dir loro: Benedetti voi dal Signore, i quali avete fatto questa opera di misericordia verso il signore vostro Saul, e lo avete seppellito.

Y envió David mensajeros á los de Jabes de Galaad, diciéndoles: Benditos seáis vosotros de Jehová, que habéis hecho esta misericordia con vuestro señor Saúl en haberle dado sepultura.

And David sent messengers unto the men of Jabesh-gilead, and said unto them, Blessed be ye of the LORD, that ye have shewed this kindness unto your lord, even unto Saul, and have buried him.

David sent messengers to the men of Jabesh Gilead, and said to them, “Blessed are you by the LORD, that you have shown this kindness to your lord, even to Saul, and have buried him.

E il Signore fin d'adesso si mostrerà misericordioso, e fedele verso di voi, ma io pure vi sarò grato per quel che avete fatto.

Ahora pues, Jehová haga con vosotros misericordia y verdad; y yo también os haré bien por esto que habéis hecho.

And now the LORD shew kindness and truth unto you: and I also will requite you this kindness, because ye have done this thing.

Now may the LORD show loving kindness and truth to you. I also will reward you for this kindness, because you have done this thing.

Rincoratevi, e state di buon animo: perocché, se è morto il signor vostro Saul, la casa di Giuda mi ha unto per suo re.

Esfuércense pues ahora vuestras manos, y sed valientes; pues que muerto Saúl vuestro señor, los de la casa de Judá me han ungido por rey sobre ellos.

Therefore now let your hands be strengthened, and be ye valiant: for your master Saul is dead, and also the house of Judah have anointed me king over them.

Ma Abner figliuolo di Ner condottiero dell'esercito di Saul, prese Isboseth figliuolo di Saul, e lo condusse intorno agli alloggiamenti,

But Abner the son of Ner, captain of Saul’s host, took Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and brought him over to Mahanaim;

E lo fece dichiarar re di Galaad, e di Gessur, e di Jezrael, e di Ephraim, e di tutto Israele.

Y alzólo por rey sobre Galaad, y sobre Gessuri, y sobre Jezreel, y sobre Ephraim, y sobre Benjamín, y sobre todo Israel.

And made him king over Gilead, and over the Ashurites, and over Jezreel, and over Ephraim, and over Benjamin, and over all Israel.

Quarant'anni avea Isboseth figliuolo di Saul, quando principiò a regnare sopra Israele, e regnò due anni: e la sola casa di Giuda obbediva a David.

De cuarenta años era Is-boseth hijo de Saúl, cuando comenzó á reinar sobre Israel; y reinó dos años. Sola la casa de Judá seguía á David.

E il tempo che dimorò David in Hebron, avendo l'impero sopra la casa di Giuda, fu di sette anni, e sei mesi.

Y fué el número de los días que David reinó en Hebrón sobre la casa de Judá, siete años y seis meses.

E Abner figliuolo di Ner co' servi d'Isboseth figliuolo di Saul levò il campo, e andò a Gabaon.

Y Abner hijo de Ner salió de Mahanaim á Gabaón con los siervos de Is-boseth hijo de Saúl.

And Abner the son of Ner, and the servants of Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, went out from Mahanaim to Gibeon.

E Gioab figliuolo di Sarvia, e la gente di David si mossero, e andarono incontro ad essi presso alla piscina di Gabaon. E avvicinatisi gli uni agli altri, si posarono dirimpetto gli uni da un lato della piscina, gli altri dall'altro lato.

Y Joab hijo de Sarvia, y los siervos de David, salieron y encontráronlos junto al estanque de Gabaón: y como se juntaron, paráronse los unos de la una parte del estanque, y los otros de la otra.

And Joab the son of Zeruiah, and the servants of David, went out, and met together by the pool of Gibeon: and they sat down, the one on the one side of the pool, and the other on the other side of the pool.

E Abner disse a Gioab: Vengan fuora de' giovanetti, e si divertano in nostra presenza. E Gioab rispose: Vengano.

Y dijo Abner á Joab: Levántense ahora los mancebos, y maniobren delante de nosotros. Y Joab respondió: Levántense.

And Abner said to Joab, Let the young men now arise, and play before us. And Joab said, Let them arise.

Abner said to Joab, “Please let the young men arise and compete before us!” Joab said, “Let them arise!”

Si mossero allora, e si avvicinarono dodici Beniamiti dalla parte d'Isboseth figliuolo di Saul, e dodici per la parte di David.

Entonces se levantaron, y en número de doce, pasaron de Benjamín de la parte de Is-boseth hijo de Saúl; y doce de los siervos de David.

Then there arose and went over by number twelve of Benjamin, which pertained to Ish-bosheth the son of Saul, and twelve of the servants of David.

E ciascuno di essi, preso per la testa il suo avversario, gli ficcò nel fianco il pugnale, e morirono (tutti) insieme. E fu dato a quel luogo il nome di campo dei forti a Gabaon.

Y cada uno echó mano de la cabeza de su compañero, y metióle su espada por el costado, cayendo así á una; por lo que fué llamado aquel lugar, Helcath-assurim, el cual está en Gabaón.

And they caught every one his fellow by the head, and thrust his sword in his fellow’s side; so they fell down together: wherefore that place was called Helkath-hazzurim, which is in Gibeon.

E principiò in quel giorno una battaglia aspra assai: e Abner, e i figliuoli d'Israele furon messi in fuga dalla gente di David.

Y hubo aquel día una batalla muy recia, y Abner y los hombres de Israel fueron vencidos de los siervos de David.

And there was a very sore battle that day; and Abner was beaten, and the men of Israel, before the servants of David.

Or eranvi tre figliuoli di Sarvia, Joab, Abisai, e Asael: e Asael era velocissimo corridore come un capriolo di quei che stan per le selve.

Y estaban allí los tres hijos de Sarvia: Joab, y Abisai, y Asael. Este Asael era suelto de pies como un corzo del campo.

And there were three sons of Zeruiah there, Joab, and Abishai, and Asahel: and Asahel was as light of foot as a wild roe.

Asael adunque inseguiva Abner, e senza voltarsi nè a destra, nè a sinistra non rifinava di corrergli dietro.

El cual Asael siguió á Abner, yendo tras de él sin apartarse á diestra ni á siniestra.

And Asahel pursued after Abner; and in going he turned not to the right hand nor to the left from following Abner.

Asahel pursued Abner. He didn’t turn to the right hand or to the left from following Abner.

Si voltò indietro Abner, e disse: Se' tu Asael? Ed ei rispose? Son io.

Y Abner miró atrás, y dijo: ¿No eres tú Asael? Y él respondió: Sí.

Then Abner looked behind him, and said, Art thou Asahel? And he answered, I am.

Then Abner looked behind him and said, “Is that you, Asahel?” He answered, “It is.”

E Abner gli disse: Va o a destra, o a sinistra, e gettati sopra di qualche giovanetto, e prenditi le sue spoglie. Ma Asael non volle lasciare d'incalzarlo.

Entonces Abner le dijo: Apártate á la derecha ó á la izquierda, y agárrate alguno de los mancebos, y toma para ti sus despojos. Pero Asael no quiso apartarse de en pos de él.

And Abner said to him, Turn thee aside to thy right hand or to thy left, and lay thee hold on one of the young men, and take thee his armour. But Asahel would not turn aside from following of him.

Abner said to him, “Turn away to your right hand or to your left, and grab one of the young men, and take his armor.” But Asahel would not turn away from following him.

E di bel nuovo Abner disse ad Asael: Vattene: non venirmi dietro, perchè io non mi veda costretto di conficcarti in terra, ond'io non possa aver cuore di guardare in viso il tuo fratello Gioab.

Y Abner tornó á decir á Asael: Apártate de en pos de mí, porque te heriré derribándote en tierra, y después ¿cómo levantaré mi rostro á tu hermano Joab?

And Abner said again to Asahel, Turn thee aside from following me: wherefore should I smite thee to the ground? how then should I hold up my face to Joab thy brother?

Abner said again to Asahel, “Turn away from following me. Why should I strike you to the ground? How then could I look Joab your brother in the face?”

Ma quegli non volle dar retta, nè cambiare strada. Allora Abner lo colpì colla parte inferiore della lancia nell'anguinaia, e lo passò da parte a parte, e quegli nello stesso luogo morì: e tutti quelli che passavan pel sito, in cui era caduto morto Asael, si fermavano.

Y no queriendo él irse, hiriólo Abner con el regatón de la lanza por la quinta costilla, y salióle la lanza por las espaldas, y cayó allí, y murió en aquel mismo sitio. Y todos los que venían por aquel lugar donde Asael había caído y estaba muerto, se paraban.

Howbeit he refused to turn aside: wherefore Abner with the hinder end of the spear smote him under the fifth rib, that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there, and died in the same place: and it came to pass, that as many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

However, he refused to turn away. Therefore Abner with the back end of the spear struck him in the body, so that the spear came out behind him; and he fell down there and died in the same place. As many as came to the place where Asahel fell down and died stood still.

Ma mentre Gioab e Abisai inseguivano Abner, il quale fuggiva, il sole tramontò: ed erano arrivati fino alla collina dell'acquedotto, che è dirimpetto alla valle sulla strada del deserto di Gabaon.

Mas Joab y Abisai siguieron á Abner; y púsoseles el sol cuando llegaron al collado de Amma, que está delante de Gía, junto al camino del desierto de Gabaón.

Joab also and Abishai pursued after Abner: and the sun went down when they were come to the hill of Ammah, that lieth before Giah by the way of the wilderness of Gibeon.

E i figliuoli di Beniamin si erano riuniti intorno ad Abner: e serrati in un sol drappello si fermarono sulla cima di un luogo rilevato.

Y juntáronse los hijos de Benjamín en un escuadrón con Abner, y paráronse en la cumbre del collado.

And the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together after Abner, and became one troop, and stood on the top of an hill.

E Abner disse ad alta voce a Gioab: Infierirà ella la tua spada fino all'esterminio? Non sai tu, che pericolosa cosa ell'è la disperazione? perchè non fai tu sapere al popolo che tralasci di perseguitare i suoi fratelli?

Y Abner dió voces á Joab, diciendo: ¿Consumirá la espada perpetuamente? ¿no sabes tú que al cabo se sigue amargura? ¿hasta cuándo no has de decir al pueblo que se vuelvan de seguir á sus hermanos?

Then Abner called to Joab, and said, Shall the sword devour for ever? knowest thou not that it will be bitterness in the latter end? how long shall it be then, ere thou bid the people return from following their brethren?

Then Abner called to Joab, and said, “Shall the sword devour forever? Don’t you know that it will be bitterness in the latter end? How long will it be then, before you ask the people to return from following their brothers?”

E Gioab disse: Viva il Signore: se tu avessi aperto bocca, il popolo avrebbe di buon'ora desistito dall'inseguire i suoi fratelli.

Y Joab respondió: Vive Dios que si no hubieras hablado, ya desde esta mañana el pueblo hubiera dejado de seguir á sus hermanos.

And Joab said, As God liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.

Joab said, “As God lives, if you had not spoken, surely then in the morning the people would have gone away, and not each followed his brother.”

Gioab pertanto suonò il corno, e tutto il popolo si fermò, e non dieder più la caccia ad Israele, e non menaron le mani.

Entonces Joab tocó el cuerno, y todo el pueblo se detuvo, y no siguió más á los de Israel, ni peleó más.

So Joab blew a trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.

E Abner colla sua gente se n'andarono tutta quella notte per le pianure: e passaron il Giordano, e traversato tutto il paese di Beth-horon, giunsero agli alloggiamenti.

Y Abner y los suyos caminaron por la campiña toda aquella noche, y pasando el Jordán cruzaron por todo Bitrón, y llegaron á Mahanaim.

And Abner and his men walked all that night through the plain, and passed over Jordan, and went through all Bithron, and they came to Mahanaim.

E Gioab lasciò andare Abner, e tornò indietro, e raunò tutto il popolo: e mancarono de' soldati di David diciannove uomini senza Asaele.

Joab también volvió de seguir á Abner, y juntando todo el pueblo, faltaron de los siervos de David diecinueve hombres, y Asael.

And Joab returned from following Abner: and when he had gathered all the people together, there lacked of David’s servants nineteen men and Asahel.

Ma le genti di David uccisero trecento sessanta uomini si di Beniamin, e si dell'altra gente, che era con Abner.

Mas los siervos de David hirieron de los de Benjamín y de los de Abner, trescientos y sesenta hombres, que murieron. Tomaron luego á Asael, y sepultáronlo en el sepulcro de su padre en Beth-lehem.

But the servants of David had smitten of Benjamin, and of Abner’s men, so that three hundred and threescore men died.

But David’s servants had struck Benjamin Abner’s men so that three hundred sixty men died.

E presero Asael, e lo seppellirono nella sepoltura del padre suo in Bethlehem: ma Gioab, e quelli che erano con lui, camminaron tutta notte, e al primo crepuscolo giunsero ad Hebron. Abner sdegnato contro il re Isboseth si riunisce con David, e riconduce a lui Michol; ma nel tempo, che riconcilia gl'Israeliti con David è ucciso da Gioab, contro di cui si accende d'ira Davidde, e piange Abner amaramente.

Y caminaron toda aquella noche Joab y los suyos, y amanecióles en Hebrón.

And they took up Asahel, and buried him in the sepulchre of his father, which was in Beth-lehem. And Joab and his men went all night, and they came to Hebron at break of day.
