David le cantó al SEÑOR las palabras de ésta canción en el día que El SEÑOR lo rescató de la mano de sus enemigos, y de las manos de Saúl.
Y HABLÓ David á Jehová las palabras de este cántico, el día que Jehová le había librado de la mano de todos sus enemigos, y de la mano de Saúl.
And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:

El oró: "El SEÑOR es mi roca, mi fortaleza, Él que me rescata."
Y dijo: Jehová es mi roca, y mi fortaleza, y mi libertador;
And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
and he said: “The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine;
Dios es mi roca. Yo encuentro refugio en Él. Él es mi escudo, el cuerno de mi salvación, mi fortaleza, y mi refugio, El que me salva de violencia.
Dios de mi roca, en él confiaré: mi escudo, y el cuerno de mi salud, mi fortaleza, y mi refugio; mi salvador, que me librarás de violencia.
The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.

Yo llamaré al SEÑOR, quien es digno de ser alabado, y seré salvo de mis enemigos.

Pues las olas de la muerte me han rodeado, las aguas apresuradas de destrucción me abruman.
Cuando me cercaron ondas de muerte, y arroyos de iniquidad me asombraron,
When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid;

Las cuerdas del Seol me rodean; las trampas de las muerte me han atrapado.
Me rodearon los dolores del infierno, y me tomaron descuidado lazos de muerte.
The sorrows of hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;
The cords of Sheol were around me. The snares of death caught me.
En mi angustia yo llamé al SEÑOR; Yo llamé a mi Dios; Él escuchó mi voz desde Su templo y mi llamada de ayuda fue hasta Sus oídos.
Tuve angustia, invoqué á Jehová, y clamé á mi Dios: y él oyó mi voz desde su templo; llegó mi clamor á sus oídos.
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears.
In my distress, I called on the LORD. Yes, I called to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry came into his ears.
Luego la tierra se estremeció y tembló. El fundamento de los cielos tembló y fue conmovido porque Dios estaba molesto.

Él abrió los cielos y bajó y espesa oscuridad estaba bajo sus pies.

Y Él hizo de la oscuridad una carpa a su alrededor reuniendo pesadas nubes de lluvia en los cielos.

And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies.

Desde el relámpago frente a Él caían carbones de fuego.
Del resplandor de su presencia se encendieron ascuas ardientes.

Él SEÑOR tronó desde el cielo. El Altísimo gritó.
Jehová tronó desde los cielos, y el Altísimo dió su voz;

Él lanzó flechas y esparció sus enemigos, rayos y los dispersó.
Arrojó saetas, y desbaratólos; relampagueó, y consumiólos.

Luego los canales de agua aparecieron; los fundamentos del mundo fueron expuestos al grito de batalla del SEÑOR a la explosión del aliento de su naríz.
Entonces aparecieron los manantiales de la mar, y los fundamentos del mundo fueron descubiertos, á la reprensión de Jehová, al resoplido del aliento de su nariz.
And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

¡El me alcanzó desde arriba y me tomó! Me sacó de la creciente agua.
Extendió su mano de lo alto, y arrebatóme, y sacóme de copiosas aguas.
He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
He sent from on high and he took me. He drew me out of many waters.
Me rescató de mi fuerte enemigo, de aquellos que me odiaron, pues eran muy fuertes para mi.
Libróme de fuertes enemigos, de aquellos que me aborrecían, los cuales eran más fuertes que yo.
He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.

Vinieron en mi contra en el día de mi angustia, pero El SEÑOR era mi apoyo.
Asaltáronme en el día de mi calamidad; mas Jehová fué mi sostén.

Él también me trajo a un lugar espacioso. El me salvó porque se agradó de mi.
Sacóme á anchura; libróme, porque puso su voluntad en mí.

El SEÑOR me ha recompensado a la medida de mi justicia; Él me ha restaurado a la medida de la limpieza de mis manos.
Remuneróme Jehová conforme á mi justicia; y conforme á la limpieza de mis manos, me dió la paga.
The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

Pues he guardado los caminos del SEÑOR y no he actuado con maldad apartándome de mi Dios.

Pues todos sus justos decretos han estado frente a mi, al igual que sus estatutos, yo no me he apartado de ellos.
Porque delante de mí tengo todas sus ordenanzas; y atento á sus fueros, no me retiraré de ellos.
For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them.

De igual manera, yo he sido inocente delante de Él y me he guardado del pecado.
Y fuí íntegro para con él, y guardéme de mi iniquidad.

Por ésto, El SEÑOR me ha restaurado a la medida de mi justicia, al grado de mi limpieza a su vista.
Remuneróme por tanto Jehová conforme á mi justicia, y conforme á mi limpieza delante de sus ojos.
Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight.
Therefore the LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness, According to my cleanness in his eyesight.
A alguien que sea fiel Tú te muestras a Ti mismo fiel, a un hombre inocente, Tú te muestras a Ti mismo inocente.
Con el bueno eres benigno, y con el íntegro te muestras íntegro;
With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.
With the merciful you will show yourself merciful. With the perfect man you will show yourself perfect.
Con el puro Tú te muestras a Ti mismo puro, pero eres sagaz con los perversos.
Limpio eres para con el limpio, mas con el perverso eres rígido.
With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury.
With the pure you will show yourself pure. With the crooked you will show yourself shrewd.
Tú has afligido a nuestra gente, pero Tus ojos están en contra de los orgullosos y Tú los derribas.
Y tú salvas al pueblo humilde; mas tus ojos sobre los altivos, para abatirlos.
And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down.
You will save the afflicted people, but your eyes are on the arrogant, that you may bring them down.
Pues Tú eres mi lámpara, SEÑOR. El SEÑOR ilumina mi oscuridad.
Porque tú eres mi lámpara, oh Jehová: Jehová da luz á mis tinieblas.
For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.
For you are my lamp, LORD. The LORD will light up my darkness.
Por Ti yo puedo correr sobre un obstáculo; por mi Dios puedo saltar sobre una pared.
Porque en ti romperé ejércitos, y con mi Dios saltaré las murallas.
For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.
For by you, I run against a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.
En cuanto a Dios, Su camino es perfecto. La palabra del SEÑOR es pura. Él es un escudo a todos los que se refugian en Él.
Dios, perfecto su camino: la palabra de Jehová purificada, escudo es de todos los que en él esperan.
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
As for God, his way is perfect. The LORD’s word is tested. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
Pues ¿quién es Dios excepto El SEÑOR? ¿Y quién es la roca excepto nuestro Dios?
Porque ¿qué Dios hay sino Jehová? ¿ó quién es fuerte sino nuestro Dios?
For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God?
For who is God, besides the LORD? Who is a rock, besides our God?
Dios es mi refugio y Él guía a las personas inocentes en Su camino.
Dios es el que con virtud me corrobora, y el que despeja mi camino;
God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect.
God is my strong fortress. He makes my way perfect.
Él hace mis pies rápidos como el ciervo y me coloca en las colinas altas.
El que hace mis pies como de ciervas, y el que me asienta en mis alturas;
He maketh my feet like hinds’ feet: and setteth me upon my high places.
He makes his feet like hinds’ feet, and sets me on my high places.
El entrena mis manos para la guerra y mis brazos para doblar un arco de bronce.
El que enseña mis manos para la pelea, y da que con mis brazos quiebre el arco de acero.
He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.
Tú me has dado el escudo de Tu salvación y tus favores me han hecho bien.
Tú me diste asimismo el escudo de tu salud, y tu benignidad me ha acrecentado.
Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.
You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your gentleness has made me great.
Tú has hecho un lugar amplio bajo mis pies para que no resbalen.
Tú ensanchaste mis pasos debajo de mí, para que no titubeasen mis rodillas.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.
You have enlarged my steps under me. My feet have not slipped.
Yo perseguí a mis enemigos y los destruí. No volví atrás hasta que fueron destruídos.
Perseguiré á mis enemigos, y quebrantarélos; y no me volveré hasta que los acabe.
I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.
I have pursued my enemies and destroyed them. I didn’t turn again until they were consumed.
Yo los devoré y los aplasté, ellos no se pueden levantar. Han caído debajo de mis pies.

And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet.

Tú pones fuerza en mí como un cinturón para la batalla; Tú pones debajo de mí a aquellos que se levantan en mi contra.
Ceñísteme de fortaleza para la batalla, y postraste debajo de mí los que contra mí se levantaron.
For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.
For you have armed me with strength for the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
Tú me diste la parte de atrás del cuello de mis enemigos; yo aniquilé a aquellos que me odiaron.
Tú me diste la cerviz de mis enemigos, de mis aborrecedores, y que yo los destruyese.
Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.
You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
Ellos clamaron por ayuda, pero nadie los salvó; ellos clamaron al SEÑOR, pero Él no les contestó.
Miraron, y no hubo quien los librase; á Jehová, mas no les respondió.
They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

Yo los golpeé en pedazos pequeños, como polvo en el suelo, yo los pulvericé como barro en la calle.
Yo los desmenuzaré como polvo de la tierra; hollarélos como á lodo de las plazas, y los disiparé.
Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I did stamp them as the mire of the street, and did spread them abroad.

Tú también me has rescatado de las disputas de mi propio pueblo. Tú me has mantenido como la cabeza de las naciones. Gente que no he conocido me sirve.
Tú me libraste de contiendas de pueblos: tú me guardaste para que fuese cabeza de gentes: pueblos que no conocía, me sirvieron.
Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me to be head of the heathen: a people which I knew not shall serve me.
You also have delivered me from the strivings of my people. You have kept me to be the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known will serve me.
Extranjeros fueron forzados a inclinarse a mi. Tan pronto escucharon de mi, ellos me obedecieron.
Los extraños titubeaban á mí: en oyendo, me obedecían.
Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
The foreigners will submit themselves to me. As soon as they hear of me, they will obey me.
Los extranjeros vinieron temblando afuera de sus fuertes.
Los extraños desfallecían, y temblaban en sus escondrijos.
Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
The foreigners will fade away, and will come trembling out of their close places.
¡Él SEÑOR vive! Que mi roca sea alabada. Que Dios sea exaltado, la roca de mi salvación.
Viva Jehová, y sea bendita mi roca; sea ensalzado el Dios, la roca de mi salvamento:
The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
The LORD lives! Blessed be my rock! Exalted be God, the rock of my salvation,
Éste es el Dios que ejecuta venganza por mí, el que derriba a las gentes debajo de mí.
El Dios que me ha vengado, y sujeta los pueblos debajo de mí;
It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
even the God who executes vengeance for me, who brings down peoples under me,
Él me libra de mis enemigos. Verdaderamente, Tú me has levantado por encima de esos que se levantaron en mi contra. Me has rescatado de hombres violentos.
Y que me saca de entre mis enemigos: tú me sacaste en alto de entre los que se levantaron contra mí: librásteme del varón de iniquidades.
And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
who brings me away from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.
Por ésto, Te daré gracias a Ti, SEÑOR, entre las naciones; Cantaré alabanzas a Tu nombre.
Por tanto yo te confesaré entre las gentes, oh Jehová, y cantaré á tu nombre.
Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.
Therefore I will give thanks to you, LORD, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.
Dios da gran victoria a su rey y Él muestra lealtad a Su pacto con el ungido, a David y sus descendientes por siempre."
El que engrandece las saludes de su rey, y hace misericordia á su ungido, á David, y á su simiente, para siempre.
He is the tower of salvation for his king: and sheweth mercy to his anointed, unto David, and to his seed for evermore.
He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.”
