10Aber Rizpa, die Tochter Ajas, nahm ihr Trauergewand und machte sich daraus ein Lager auf dem Felsen zurecht vom Beginn der Ernte an, bis Regen vom Himmel auf die Toten niederfiel, und verhinderte so, daß die Vögel unter dem Himmel bei Tag und die wilden Tiere bei Nacht sich über sie her machten.

10And Rizpah the daughter of Aiah took sackcloth, and spread it for her upon the rock, from the beginning of harvest until water dropped upon them out of heaven, and suffered neither the birds of the air to rest on them by day, nor the beasts of the field by night.
