1Unter der Regierung Davids herrschte einst eine Hungersnot drei Jahre lang, Jahr für Jahr. Als sich David nun an den HERRN mit einer Anfrage wandte, antwortete der HERR, auf Saul und seinem Hause laste eine Blutschuld, weil er die Gibeoniten getötet habe.

1Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites.
