3Als nun David nach Jerusalem in seinen Palast gelangt war, ließ er die zehn Kebsweiber, die er zur Bewachung des Palastes zurückgelassen hatte, in ein besonderes Haus bringen und versorgte sie, jedoch ohne ihnen beizuwohnen. So lebten sie abgeschlossen bis an ihren Tod, bei Lebzeiten schon im Witwenstande.

3Y luego que llegó David á su casa en Jerusalem, tomó el rey las diez mujeres concubinas que había dejado para guardar la casa, y púsolas en una casa en guarda, y dióles de comer: pero nunca más entró á ellas, sino que quedaron encerradas hasta que murieron en viudez de por vida.

3And David came to his house at Jerusalem; and the king took the ten women his concubines, whom he had left to keep the house, and put them in ward, and fed them, but went not in unto them. So they were shut up unto the day of their death, living in widowhood.
