2 Samuel 19

Da fuhr der König zusammen, und er stieg in das Obergemach am Tor hinauf und weinte; noch im Gehen rief er: O mein Sohn! o Absalom! mein Sohn, mein Sohn! o Absalom! O wäre ich für dich gestorben! O Absalom, mein Sohn, mein Sohn!

Y DIERON aviso á Joab: He aquí el rey llora, y hace duelo por Absalom.

And it was told Joab, Behold, the king weepeth and mourneth for Absalom.

An diesem Tage ward der Sieg zur Trauer für das ganze Volk; denn an diesem Tage hörte das Volk sagen: Der König härmt sich um seinen Sohn.

So stahl sich denn das Volk an diesem Tage in die Stadt hinein, wie Leute sich davonstehlen, die sich mit Schmach bedeckt haben, weil sie in der Schlacht geflohen sind.

Y entrando Joab en casa al rey, díjole: Hoy has avergonzado el rostro de todos tus siervos, que han hoy librado tu vida, y la vida de tus hijos y de tus hijas, y la vida de tus mujeres, y la vida de tus concubinas,

And Joab came into the house to the king, and said, Thou hast shamed this day the faces of all thy servants, which this day have saved thy life, and the lives of thy sons and of thy daughters, and the lives of thy wives, and the lives of thy concubines;

Da ging Joab zum König ins Haus und sprach: Allen deinen Knechten, die doch heute dir, deinen Söhnen und Töchtern, deinen Frauen und Kebsweibern das Leben gerettet haben, hast du heute einen Schimpf angetan,

Amando á los que te aborrecen, y aborreciendo á los que te aman: porque hoy has declarado que nada te importan tus príncipes y siervos; pues hoy echo de ver que si Absalom viviera, bien que nosotros todos estuviéramos hoy muertos, entonces te contentaras.

In that thou lovest thine enemies, and hatest thy friends. For thou hast declared this day, that thou regardest neither princes nor servants: for this day I perceive, that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died this day, then it had pleased thee well.

in that you love those who hate you and hate those who love you. For you have declared today that princes and servants are nothing to you. For today I perceive that if Absalom had lived and we had all died today, then it would have pleased you well.

indem du die liebst, die dich hassen, und die hassest, die dich lieben; denn du hast heute gezeigt, dass die Hauptleute und Knechte dir nichts gelten. Ja, jetzt weiss ich: wenn nur Absalom noch lebte, ob auch wir alle heute tot wären, dann wäre es dir eben recht.

Levántate pues ahora, y sal fuera, y halaga á tus siervos: porque juro por Jehová, que si no sales, ni aun uno quede contigo esta noche; y de esto te pesará más que de todos los males que te han sobrevenido desde tu mocedad hasta ahora.

Now therefore arise, go forth, and speak comfortably unto thy servants: for I swear by the LORD, if thou go not forth, there will not tarry one with thee this night: and that will be worse unto thee than all the evil that befell thee from thy youth until now.

Nun aber stehe auf, geh hinaus und rede freundlich mit deinen Knechten; denn bei dem Herrn schwöre ich: Wenn du nicht hinausgehst, so wird heute nacht kein Mann mehr bei dir bleiben, und das wird für dich schlimmer sein als alles Unheil, das von deiner Jugend an bis heute über dich gekommen ist.

Y todo el pueblo porfiaba en todas las tribus de Israel, diciendo: El rey nos ha librado de mano de nuestros enemigos, y él nos ha salvado de mano de los Filisteos; y ahora había huído de la tierra por miedo de Absalom.

And all the people were at strife throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, The king saved us out of the hand of our enemies, and he delivered us out of the hand of the Philistines; and now he is fled out of the land for Absalom.

da zankten sich die Leute in allen Stämmen Israels und sprachen: Der König hat uns aus der Hand unsrer Feinde errettet, er hat uns aus der Hand der Philister befreit, und jetzt hat er vor Absalom aus dem Lande fliehen müssen.

Nun aber, da Absalom, den wir (zum König) über uns gesalbt hatten, im Kampf gefallen ist, warum zögert ihr, den König heimzuholen?

Y el rey David envió á Sadoc y á Abiathar sacerdotes, diciendo: Hablad á los ancianos de Judá y decidles: ¿Por qué seréis vosotros los postreros en volver el rey á su casa, ya que la palabra de todo Israel ha venido al rey de volverle á su casa?

And king David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, Why are ye the last to bring the king back to his house? seeing the speech of all Israel is come to the king, even to his house.

Als der König David erfuhr, was in ganz Israel geredet wurde, da sandte er zu den Priestern Zadok und Abjathar und liess ihnen sagen: Redet mit den Ältesten von Juda und fragt sie: Warum wollt ihr die letzten sein, den König heimzuholen in sein Haus?

Vosotros sois mis hermanos; mis huesos y mi carne sois: ¿por qué pues seréis vosotros los postreros en volver al rey?

Ye are my brethren, ye are my bones and my flesh: wherefore then are ye the last to bring back the king?

You are my brothers. You are my bone and my flesh. Why then are you the last to bring back the king?’

Ihr seid doch meine Brüder, seid von meinem Gebein und Fleisch; warum wollt ihr die letzten sein, den König heimzuholen?

Asimismo diréis á Amasa: ¿No eres tú también hueso mío y carne mía? Así me haga Dios, y así me añada, si no fueres general del ejército delante de mí para siempre, en lugar de Joab.

And say ye to Amasa, Art thou not of my bone, and of my flesh? God do so to me, and more also, if thou be not captain of the host before me continually in the room of Joab.

Auch der Benjaminit Simei, der Sohn des Gera aus Bahurim, eilte mit den Männern Judas hinab dem König David entgegen (a) 2Sa 16:5-13

Y con él venían mil hombres de Benjamín; asimismo Siba criado de la casa de Saúl, con sus quince hijos y sus veinte siervos, los cuales pasaron el Jordán delante del rey.

und sie übernahmen es, die Familie des Königs überzusetzen und zu tun, was er wünschte. Und Simei, der Sohn des Gera, warf sich vor dem König nieder, als er den Jordan überschreiten wollte,

Y dijo al rey: No me impute mi señor iniquidad, ni tengas memoria de los males que tu siervo hizo el día que mi señor el rey salió de Jerusalem, para guardarlos el rey en su corazón;

And said unto the king, Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me, neither do thou remember that which thy servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.

He said to the king, “Don’t let my lord impute iniquity to me, or remember that which your servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem, that the king should take it to his heart.

und er sprach zum König: Mein Herr rechne mir die Schuld nicht an und gedenke dessen nicht, was dein Knecht gefrevelt an dem Tage, da mein Herr und König aus Jerusalem wegging, und der König nehme es nicht zu Herzen.

Porque yo tu siervo conozco haber pecado, y he venido hoy el primero de toda la casa de José, para descender á recibir á mi señor el rey.

For thy servant doth know that I have sinned: therefore, behold, I am come the first this day of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king.

Dein Knecht weiss, dass er gesündigt hat. Aber sieh, ich bin heute zuerst vom ganzen Hause Joseph herabgekommen, um meinem Herrn und König entgegenzuziehen.

Y Abisai hijo de Sarvia respondió y dijo: ¿No ha de morir por esto Semei, que maldijo al ungido de Jehová?

But Abishai the son of Zeruiah answered and said, Shall not Shimei be put to death for this, because he cursed the LORD’s anointed?

Da hob Abisai, der Sohn der Zeruja, an und sprach: Soll Simei nicht dafür getötet werden, dass er dem Gesalbten des Herrn geflucht hat?

David entonces dijo: ¿Qué tenéis vosotros conmigo, hijos de Sarvia, que me habéis de ser hoy adversarios? ¿ha de morir hoy alguno en Israel? ¿no conozco yo que hoy soy rey sobre Israel?

And David said, What have I to do with you, ye sons of Zeruiah, that ye should this day be adversaries unto me? shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel? for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel?

David said, “What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah, that you should be adversaries to me today? Shall any man be put to death today in Israel? For don’t I know that I am king over Israel today?”

David aber sprach: Was habe ich mit euch zu schaffen, ihr Söhne der Zeruja, dass ihr mir heute zum Versucher werdet? Heute darf niemand in Israel getötet werden. Weiss ich doch, dass ich heute König über Israel bin!

Y dijo el rey á Semei: No morirás. Y el rey se lo juró.

Therefore the king said unto Shimei, Thou shalt not die. And the king sware unto him.

Und der König sprach zu Simei: Du sollst nicht sterben. Und der König schwur ihm.

También Mephi-boseth hijo de Saúl descendió á recibir al rey: no había lavado sus pies, ni había cortado su barba, ni tampoco había lavado sus vestidos, desde el día que el rey salió hasta el día que vino en paz.

And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king, and had neither dressed his feet, nor trimmed his beard, nor washed his clothes, from the day the king departed until the day he came again in peace.

Auch Meribaal, der Enkel Sauls, war herabgekommen, dem Könige entgegen; er hatte seine Füsse und seinen Bart nicht gepflegt und seine Kleider nicht gewaschen seit dem Tage, da der König weggegangen war, bis zu dem Tage, da er wohlbehalten zurückkehrte. (1) vgl. Anm. zu 2Sa 4:4. (a) 2Sa 9:6

Y luego que vino él á Jerusalem á recibir al rey, el rey le dijo: Mephi-boseth, ¿por qué no fuiste conmigo?

And it came to pass, when he was come to Jerusalem to meet the king, that the king said unto him, Wherefore wentest not thou with me, Mephibosheth?

Als er nun von Jerusalem dem König entgegenkam, sprach der König zu ihm: Warum bist du nicht mit mir gezogen, Meribaal?

Y él dijo: Rey señor mío, mi siervo me ha engañado; pues había tu siervo dicho: Enalbardaré un asno, y subiré en él, é iré al rey; porque tu siervo es cojo.

And he answered, My lord, O king, my servant deceived me: for thy servant said, I will saddle me an ass, that I may ride thereon, and go to the king; because thy servant is lame.

He answered, “My lord, O king, my servant deceived me. For your servant said, ‘I will saddle a donkey for myself, that I may ride on it and go with the king,’ because your servant is lame.

Er antwortete: Mein Herr und König! Mein Knecht hat mich betrogen; denn dein Knecht hatte ihm befohlen: "Sattle mir die Eselin, dass ich sie besteige und mit dem König ziehe" - dein Knecht ist ja lahm.

Empero él revolvió á tu siervo delante de mi señor el rey; mas mi señor el rey es como un ángel de Dios: haz pues lo que bien te pareciere.

And he hath slandered thy servant unto my lord the king; but my lord the king is as an angel of God: do therefore what is good in thine eyes.

He has slandered your servant to my lord the king, but my lord the king is as an angel of God. Therefore do what is good in your eyes.

Aber er hat deinen Knecht bei meinem Herrn und König verleumdet. Doch mein Herr und König ist (so weise) wie der Engel Gottes. So tue, was dich gut dünkt. (a) 2Sa 14:17

Porque toda la casa de mi padre era digna de muerte delante de mi señor el rey, y tú pusiste á tu siervo entre los convidados de tu mesa. ¿Qué derecho pues tengo aún para quejarme más contra el rey?

For all of my father’s house were but dead men before my lord the king: yet didst thou set thy servant among them that did eat at thine own table. What right therefore have I yet to cry any more unto the king?

Denn obschon das ganze Haus meines Vaters von meinem Herrn und König nichts als den Tod erwarten durfte, hast du doch deinen Knecht unter die gesetzt, die an deinem Tische essen. Was habe ich da noch für einen Anspruch und was für Grund, den König weiter anzurufen? (a) 2Sa 9:7

And the king said unto him, Why speakest thou any more of thy matters? I have said, Thou and Ziba divide the land.

Der König sprach zu ihm: Wozu die Worte? Ich entscheide: Du und Ziba, teilt euch in das Gut!

And Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in peace unto his own house.

Meribaal sprach zum König: Mag er gleich das Ganze nehmen, nachdem mein Herr und König wohlbehalten heimgekehrt ist!

También Barzillai Galaadita descendió de Rogelim, y pasó el Jordán con el rey, para acompañarle de la otra parte del Jordán.

And Barzillai the Gileadite came down from Rogelim, and went over Jordan with the king, to conduct him over Jordan.

Y el rey dijo á Barzillai: Pasa conmigo, y yo te daré de comer conmigo en Jerusalem.

And the king said unto Barzillai, Come thou over with me, and I will feed thee with me in Jerusalem.

Nun sprach der König zu Barsillai: Du musst mit mir kommen, und bei mir in Jerusalem will ich in deinen alten Tagen für dich sorgen.

Mas Barzillai dijo al rey: ¿Cuántos son los días del tiempo de mi vida, para que yo suba con el rey á Jerusalem?

And Barzillai said unto the king, How long have I to live, that I should go up with the king unto Jerusalem?

Barzillai said to the king, “How many are the days of the years of my life, that I should go up with the king to Jerusalem?

Barsillai aber antwortete dem König: Wie lange habe ich denn noch zu leben, dass ich mit dem König nach Jerusalem hinaufziehen sollte?

Yo soy hoy día de edad de ochenta años, que ya no haré diferencia entre lo bueno y lo malo: ¿tomará gusto ahora tu siervo en lo que comiere ó bebiere? ¿oiré más la voz de los cantores y de las cantoras? ¿para qué, pues, sería aún tu siervo molesto á mi señor el rey?

I am this day fourscore years old: and can I discern between good and evil? can thy servant taste what I eat or what I drink? can I hear any more the voice of singing men and singing women? wherefore then should thy servant be yet a burden unto my lord the king?

I am eighty years old, today. Can I discern between good and bad? Can your servant taste what I eat or what I drink? Can I hear the voice of singing men and singing women any more? Why then should your servant be a burden to my lord the king?

Ich bin jetzt achtzig Jahre alt; wie kann ich da noch unterscheiden, was gut und was schlecht ist? Oder kann dein Knecht noch schmecken, was er isst und was er trinkt? Oder kann ich noch der Stimme der Sänger und Sängerinnen lauschen? Warum soll dein Knecht dem Herrn und König noch zur Last fallen?

Pasará tu siervo un poco el Jordán con el rey: ¿por qué me ha de dar el rey tan grande recompensa?

Thy servant will go a little way over Jordan with the king: and why should the king recompense it me with such a reward?

Your servant will just go over the Jordan with the king. Why should the king repay me with such a reward?

Denn nur ein wenig hat dein Knecht dem Könige gedient. Warum will der König mir so reich vergelten?

Yo te ruego que dejes volver á tu siervo, y que muera en mi ciudad, junto al sepulcro de mi padre y de mi madre. He aquí tu siervo Chimham; que pase él con mi señor el rey, y hazle lo que bien te pareciere.

Let thy servant, I pray thee, turn back again, that I may die in mine own city, and be buried by the grave of my father and of my mother. But behold thy servant Chimham; let him go over with my lord the king; and do to him what shall seem good unto thee.

Please let your servant turn back again, that I may die in my own city, by the grave of my father and my mother. But behold, your servant Chimham; let him go over with my lord the king; and do to him what shall seem good to you.”

Lass doch deinen Knecht umkehren, dass ich in meiner Stadt beim Grabe meines Vaters und meiner Mutter sterbe. Aber dein Knecht Chimham da, der mag mit meinem Herrn und König ziehen; ihm tue, was dich gut dünkt!

Y el rey dijo: Pues pase conmigo Chimham, y yo haré con él como bien te parezca: y todo lo que tú pidieres de mí, yo lo haré.

And the king answered, Chimham shall go over with me, and I will do to him that which shall seem good unto thee: and whatsoever thou shalt require of me, that will I do for thee.

The king answered, “Chimham shall go over with me, and I will do to him that which shall seem good to you. Whatever you request of me, that I will do for you.”

Der König sprach: So soll Chimham mit mir ziehen; ich will an ihm tun, was dir gefällt, und alles, was du von mir wünschest, will ich dir tun.

Y todo el pueblo pasó el Jordán: y luego que el rey hubo también pasado, el rey besó á Barzillai, y bendíjolo; y él se volvió á su casa.

And all the people went over Jordan. And when the king was come over, the king kissed Barzillai, and blessed him; and he returned unto his own place.

All the people went over the Jordan, and the king went over. Then the king kissed Barzillai and blessed him; and he returned to his own place.

Nun ging alles Volk über den Jordan, der König aber blieb noch stehen; und der König küsste Barsillai und entliess ihn mit Segenswünschen. Der nun kehrte zurück in seine Heimat,

El rey entonces pasó á Gilgal, y con él pasó Chimham; y todo el pueblo de Judá, con la mitad del pueblo de Israel, pasaron al rey.

Then the king went on to Gilgal, and Chimham went on with him: and all the people of Judah conducted the king, and also half the people of Israel.

der König aber zog weiter nach Gilgal, und Chimham mit ihm. Ganz Juda zog mit dem König und auch halb Israel.

Y he aquí todos los varones de Israel vinieron al rey, y le dijeron: ¿Por qué los hombres de Judá, nuestros hermanos, te han llevado, y han hecho pasar el Jordán al rey y á su familia, y á todos los varones de David con él?

And, behold, all the men of Israel came to the king, and said unto the king, Why have our brethren the men of Judah stolen thee away, and have brought the king, and his household, and all David’s men with him, over Jordan?

Da kamen auf einmal alle Männer Israels zum König und sprachen zu ihm: Warum haben unsre Brüder, die Männer Judas, dich entführt und den König und sein Haus über den Jordan gebracht und alle seine Männer mit ihm?

Y todos los varones de Judá respondieron á todos los de Israel: Porque el rey es nuestro pariente. Mas ¿por qué os enojáis vosotros de eso? ¿hemos nosotros comido algo del rey? ¿hemos recibido de él algún don?

And all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, Because the king is near of kin to us: wherefore then be ye angry for this matter? have we eaten at all of the king’s cost? or hath he given us any gift?

All the men of Judah answered the men of Israel, “Because the king is a close relative to us. Why then are you angry about this matter? Have we eaten at all at the king’s cost? Or has he given us any gift?”

Da antworteten alle Männer Judas denen von Israel: Weil der König uns verwandt ist! Und warum zürnt ihr deswegen? Haben wir etwa ein Stück vom König gefressen, oder ist er von uns weggenommen worden? Aber die Männer Israels entgegneten denen von Juda: Wir haben zehnfach Anteil am König; dazu sind wir auch als die Erstgeborenen euch voraus! Warum habt ihr uns verachtet? Und haben wir denn nicht zuerst davon geredet, unsern König heimzuholen? Die von Juda aber redeten noch heftiger als die von Israel.

Entonces respondieron los varones de Israel, y dijeron á los de Judá: Nosotros tenemos en el rey diez partes, y en el mismo David más que vosotros: ¿por qué pues nos habéis tenido en poco? ¿no hablamos nosotros primero en volver á nuestro rey? Y el razonamiento de los varones de Judá fué más fuerte que el de los varones de Israel.

And the men of Israel answered the men of Judah, and said, We have ten parts in the king, and we have also more right in David than ye: why then did ye despise us, that our advice should not be first had in bringing back our king? And the words of the men of Judah were fiercer than the words of the men of Israel.
