8Al oír esto, el rey salió y se sentó junto a la entrada de la ciudad. Cuando el pueblo lo supo, fue y se presentó delante de él. Por su parte, los israelitas que habían acompañado a Absalón regresaron a sus casas.

8Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying, Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king: for Israel had fled every man to his tent.
