25Auch Sauls Enkel Mephiboset ging dem König entgegen. Er hatte aber sein Haupthaar nicht gepflegt noch seinen Bart geordnet und seine Kleider nicht gewaschen seit dem Tage, da der König fortgegangen, bis zu dem Tage, da er im Frieden nach Jerusalem zog.

25And it came to pass, when he was come to Jerusalem to meet the king, that the king said unto him, Wherefore wentest not thou with me, Mephibosheth?
