2 Samuel 17

Hierauf sprach Ahithophel zu Absalom: Ich will mir zwölftausend Mann auswählen, mich aufmachen und David gleich heute nacht verfolgen (a) 2Sa 15:12

ENTONCES Achitophel dijo á Absalom: Yo escogeré ahora doce mil hombres, y me levantaré, y seguiré á David esta noche;

Moreover Ahithophel said unto Absalom, Let me now choose out twelve thousand men, and I will arise and pursue after David this night:

und ihn überfallen, während er noch müde und verzagt ist. Wenn ich ihn so aufschrecke, wird alles Volk, das bei ihm ist, fliehen, und ich kann den König allein erschlagen;

Y daré sobre él cuando él estará cansado y flaco de manos: lo atemorizaré, y todo el pueblo que está con él huirá, y heriré al rey solo.

And I will come upon him while he is weary and weak handed, and will make him afraid: and all the people that are with him shall flee; and I will smite the king only:

I will come on him while he is weary and exhausted, and will make him afraid. All the people who are with him will flee. I will strike the king only,

dann will ich alles Volk zu dir zurückbringen, wie eine junge Frau zu ihrem Gatten zurückkehrt. Du stellst ja nur einem Manne nach dem Leben, das ganze Volk aber soll unversehrt bleiben.

Así tornaré á todo el pueblo á ti: y cuando ellos hubieren vuelto, (pues aquel hombre es el que tú quieres) todo el pueblo estará en paz.

And I will bring back all the people unto thee: the man whom thou seekest is as if all returned: so all the people shall be in peace.

and I will bring back all the people to you. The man whom you seek is as if all returned. All the people shall be in peace.”

Die Rede gefiel Absalom und allen Ältesten Israels.

Esta razón pareció bien á Absalom y á todos los ancianos de Israel.

Aber Absalom sprach: Ruft noch den Arkiter Husai, damit wir auch hören, was er dazu sagt.

Y dijo Absalom: Llama también ahora á Husai Arachîta, para que asimismo oigamos lo que él dirá.

Then said Absalom, Call now Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear likewise what he saith.

Then Absalom said, “Now call Hushai the Archite also, and let’s hear likewise what he says.”

Als Husai zu Absalom hereinkam, sprach Absalom zu ihm: Das und das hat Ahithophel geraten. Sollen wir tun, was er geraten hat? Wo nicht, so rede du!

Y como Husai vino á Absalom, hablóle Absalom, diciendo: Así ha dicho Achitophel; ¿seguiremos su consejo, ó no? Di tú.

And when Hushai was come to Absalom, Absalom spake unto him, saying, Ahithophel hath spoken after this manner: shall we do after his saying? if not; speak thou.

When Hushai had come to Absalom, Absalom spoke to him, saying, “Ahithophel has spoken like this. Shall we do what he says? If not, speak up.”

Da sprach Husai zu Absalom: Der Rat, den Ahithophel diesmal gegeben hat, ist nicht gut.

Entonces Husai dijo á Absalom: El consejo que ha dado esta vez Achitophel no es bueno.

And Hushai said unto Absalom, The counsel that Ahithophel hath given is not good at this time.

Hushai said to Absalom, “The counsel that Ahithophel has given this time is not good.”

Und Husai fuhr fort: Du weisst, dass dein Vater und seine Leute Helden sind und grimmen Mutes, wie eine Bärin auf dem Felde, der man die Jungen geraubt hat. Dazu ist dein Vater ein Kriegsmann; der hält nicht Nachtruhe mit dem Volk.

Y añadió Husai: Tú sabes que tu padre y los suyos son hombres valientes, y que están con amargura de ánimo, como la osa en el campo cuando le han quitado los hijos. Además, tu padre es hombre de guerra, y no tendrá la noche con el pueblo.

For, said Hushai, thou knowest thy father and his men, that they be mighty men, and they be chafed in their minds, as a bear robbed of her whelps in the field: and thy father is a man of war, and will not lodge with the people.

Hushai said moreover, “You know your father and his men, that they are mighty men, and they are fierce in their minds, like a bear robbed of her cubs in the field. Your father is a man of war, and will not lodge with the people.

Gewiss liegt er jetzt irgendwo in einer Schlucht versteckt oder sonst an irgendeinem Ort. Wenn nun gleich am Anfang etliche von den Leuten fallen und man hört davon, so heisst es: Das Volk, das zu Absalom hält, hat eine Niederlage erlitten!

He aquí él estará ahora escondido en alguna cueva, ó en otro lugar: y si al principio cayeren algunos de los tuyos, oirálo quien lo oyere, y dirá: El pueblo que sigue á Absalom ha sido derrotado.

Behold, he is hid now in some pit, or in some other place: and it will come to pass, when some of them be overthrown at the first, that whosoever heareth it will say, There is a slaughter among the people that follow Absalom.

Behold, he is now hidden in some pit, or in some other place. It will happen, when some of them have fallen at the first, that whoever hears it will say, ‘There is a slaughter among the people who follow Absalom!’

Und dann wird auch der Tapferste, der beherzt ist wie ein Löwe, ganz und gar verzagen; denn jeder Israelite weiss, dass dein Vater ein Held ist und seine Leute tapfere Männer.

Así aun el hombre valiente, cuyo corazón sea como corazón de león, sin duda desmayará: porque todo Israel sabe que tu padre es hombre valiente, y que los que están con él son esforzados.

And he also that is valiant, whose heart is as the heart of a lion, shall utterly melt: for all Israel knoweth that thy father is a mighty man, and they which be with him are valiant men.

Even he who is valiant, whose heart is as the heart of a lion, will utterly melt; for all Israel knows that your father is a mighty man, and those who are with him are valiant men.

Vielmehr rate ich: Ganz Israel, von Dan bis Beerseba, soll sich um dich versammeln, so zahlreich wie der Sand am Meer, und du selbst sollst unter ihnen ausziehen.

Aconsejo pues que todo Israel se junte á ti, desde Dan hasta Beer-seba, en multitud como la arena que está á la orilla de la mar, y que tú en persona vayas á la batalla.

Therefore I counsel that all Israel be generally gathered unto thee, from Dan even to Beer-sheba, as the sand that is by the sea for multitude; and that thou go to battle in thine own person.

But I counsel that all Israel be gathered together to you, from Dan even to Beersheba, as the sand that is by the sea for multitude; and that you go to battle in your own person.

Treffen wir ihn dann an irgendeinem Orte, wo er sich finden lässt, so wollen wir über ihn herfallen, wie der Tau auf die Erde fällt, und es soll von ihm und all den Männern, die bei ihm sind, auch nicht einer übrigbleiben.

Entonces le acometeremos en cualquier lugar que pudiere hallarse, y daremos sobre él como cuando el rocío cae sobre la tierra, y ni uno dejaremos de él, y de todos los que con él están.

So shall we come upon him in some place where he shall be found, and we will light upon him as the dew falleth on the ground: and of him and of all the men that are with him there shall not be left so much as one.

So we will come on him in some place where he will be found, and we will light on him as the dew falls on the ground, then we will not leave so much as one of him and of all the men who are with him.

Zieht er sich aber in eine Stadt zurück, so soll ganz Israel Stricke an jene Stadt legen, und wir schleifen sie zu Tal, bis dort auch nicht ein Steinchen mehr zu finden ist.

Y si se recogiere en alguna ciudad, todos los de Israel traerán sogas á aquella ciudad, y la arrastraremos hasta el arroyo, que nunca más parezca piedra de ella.

Moreover, if he be gotten into a city, then shall all Israel bring ropes to that city, and we will draw it into the river, until there be not one small stone found there.

Da sprachen Absalom und alle Männer Israels: Der Rat des Arkiters Husai ist besser als der Rat Ahithophels. Der Herr nämlich hatte es so gefügt, dass der kluge Rat Ahithophels vereitelt wurde, um das Unheil über Absalom zu bringen. (a) 2Sa 15:31

Entonces Absalom y todos los de Israel dijeron: El consejo de Husai Arachîta es mejor que el consejo de Achitophel. Porque había Jehová ordenado que el acertado consejo de Achitophel se frustrara, para que Jehová hiciese venir el mal sobre Absalom.

And Absalom and all the men of Israel said, The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel. For the LORD had appointed to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that the LORD might bring evil upon Absalom.

Absalom and all the men of Israel said, “The counsel of Hushai the Archite is better than the counsel of Ahithophel.” For the LORD had ordained to defeat the good counsel of Ahithophel, to the intent that the LORD might bring evil on Absalom.

Darnach sprach Husai zu den Priestern Zadok und Abjathar: Das und das hat Ahithophel dem Absalom und den Ältesten Israels geraten, und das und das habe ich geraten.

Dijo luego Husai á Sadoc y á Abiathar sacerdotes: Así y así aconsejó Achitophel á Absalom y á los ancianos de Israel: y de esta manera aconsejé yo.

Then said Hushai unto Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, Thus and thus did Ahithophel counsel Absalom and the elders of Israel; and thus and thus have I counselled.

Then Hushai said to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, “Ahithophel counseled Absalom and the elders of Israel that way; and I have counseled this way.

So sendet nun eilends hin und lasst David sagen: "Bleibe nicht übernacht an den Furten in der Wüste; hinüber musst du gehen", damit nicht der König und alles Volk, das bei ihm ist, aufgerieben werde. (1) d.h. über den Jordan.

Por tanto enviad inmediatamente, y dad aviso á David, diciendo: No quedes esta noche en los campos del desierto, sino pasa luego el Jordán, porque el rey no sea consumido, y todo el pueblo que con él está.

Now therefore send quickly, and tell David, saying, Lodge not this night in the plains of the wilderness, but speedily pass over; lest the king be swallowed up, and all the people that are with him.

Jonathan aber und Ahimaaz standen an der Walkerquelle, und eine Magd ging jeweilen hin und brachte ihnen Nachricht; dann gingen sie und meldeten es dem König David; denn sie durften sich nicht sehen lassen und in die Stadt kommen.

Y Jonathán y Ahimaas estaban junto á la fuente de Rogel, porque no podían ellos mostrarse viniendo á la ciudad; fué por tanto una criada, y dióles el aviso: y ellos fueron, y noticiáronlo al rey David.

Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz stayed by En-rogel; for they might not be seen to come into the city: and a wench went and told them; and they went and told king David.

Now Jonathan and Ahimaaz were staying by En Rogel; and a female servant used to go and report to them, and they went and told King David; for they couldn’t risk being seen coming into the city.

Aber ein Knabe sah sieh und hinterbrachte es Absalom. Da gingen die beiden eilends hin und kamen zum Hause eines Mannes in Bahurim; der hatte eine Zisterne in seinem Hofe, in die stiegen sie hinab.

Empero fueron vistos por un mozo, el cual dió cuenta á Absalom: sin embargo los dos se dieron priesa á caminar, y llegaron á casa de un hombre en Bahurim, que tenía un pozo en su patio, dentro del cual se metieron.

Nevertheless a lad saw them, and told Absalom: but they went both of them away quickly, and came to a man’s house in Bahurim, which had a well in his court; whither they went down.

But a boy saw them, and told Absalom. Then they both went away quickly and came to the house of a man in Bahurim, who had a well in his court; and they went down there.

Und das Weib nahm eine Matte und breitete sie oben über die Zisterne und streute Getreidekörner darüber, sodass man nichts merkte. (a) Jos 2:6

Y tomando la mujer de la casa una manta, extendióla sobre la boca del pozo, y tendió sobre ella el grano trillado; y no se penetró el negocio.

And the woman took and spread a covering over the well’s mouth, and spread ground corn thereon; and the thing was not known.

Als nun die Knechte Absaloms zu dem Weibe ins Haus kamen und fragte: Wo sind Ahimaaz und Jonathan? sagte das Weib zu ihnen: Sie sind von hier nach dem Wasser weitergegangen. Da suchten sie nach ihnen; doch als sie nichts fanden, kehrten sie nach Jerusalem zurück. (1) d.i. dem Jordan.

Llegando luego los criados de Absalom á la casa á la mujer, dijéronle: ¿Dónde están Ahimaas y Jonathán? Y la mujer les respondió: Ya han pasado el vado de las aguas. Y como ellos los buscaron y no los hallaron, volviéronse á Jerusalem.

And when Absalom’s servants came to the woman to the house, they said, Where is Ahimaaz and Jonathan? And the woman said unto them, They be gone over the brook of water. And when they had sought and could not find them, they returned to Jerusalem.

Absalom’s servants came to the woman to the house; and they said, “Where are Ahimaaz and Jonathan?” The woman said to them, “They have gone over the brook of water.” When they had sought and could not find them, they returned to Jerusalem.

Sobald sie weg waren, stiegen jene aus der Zisterne, gingen weiter, brachten dem König David Bericht und sprachen zu ihm: Auf! Geht eilends über das Wasser; denn das und das hat Ahithophel wider euch geraten.

Y después que ellos se hubieron ido, estotros salieron del pozo, y fuéronse, y dieron aviso al rey David; y dijéronle: Levantaos y daos priesa á pasar las aguas, porque Achitophel ha dado tal consejo contra vosotros.

And it came to pass, after they were departed, that they came up out of the well, and went and told king David, and said unto David, Arise, and pass quickly over the water: for thus hath Ahithophel counselled against you.

After they had departed, they came up out of the well and went and told King David; and they said to David, “Arise and pass quickly over the water; for thus has Ahithophel counseled against you.”

Da machten sich David und alle seine Leute auf und gingen über den Jordan; bis der Morgen tagte, fehlte auch nicht einer, der nicht über den Jordan gekommen wäre.

Entonces David se levantó, y todo el pueblo que con él estaba, y pasaron el Jordán antes que amaneciese; ni siquiera faltó uno que no pasase el Jordán.

Then David arose, and all the people that were with him, and they passed over Jordan: by the morning light there lacked not one of them that was not gone over Jordan.

Als aber Ahithophel sah, dass sein Rat nicht ausgeführt wurde, sattelte er seinen Esel, machte sich auf und zog heim in seine Stadt, bestellte sein Haus und erhängte sich und starb und ward in seines Vaters Grab begraben.

Y Achitophel, viendo que no se había puesto por obra su consejo, enalbardó su asno, y levantóse, y fuése á su casa en su ciudad; y después de disponer acerca de su casa, ahorcóse y murió, y fué sepultado en el sepulcro de su padre.

And when Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his ass, and arose, and gat him home to his house, to his city, and put his household in order, and hanged himself, and died, and was buried in the sepulchre of his father.

When Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his donkey, arose, and went home to his city, set his house in order, and hanged himself; and he died, and was buried in the tomb of his father.

David aber war schon nach Mahanaim gekommen, als Absalom und alle Männer Israels mit ihm über den Jordan gingen. (a) 1Mo 32:2

Y David llegó á Mahanaim, y Absalom pasó el Jordán con toda la gente de Israel.

Absalom hatte Amasa an Joabs Statt über das Heer gesetzt. Amasa aber war der Sohn eines Ismaeliters mit Namen Jithra, der mit Abigal verkehrt hatte, der Tochter Isais und Schwester der Zeruja, der Mutter Joabs.

Y Absalom constituyó á Amasa sobre el ejército en lugar de Joab, el cual Amasa fué hijo de un varón de Israel llamado Itra, el cual había entrado á Abigail hija de Naas, hermana de Sarvia, madre de Joab.

And Absalom made Amasa captain of the host instead of Joab: which Amasa was a man’s son, whose name was Ithra an Israelite, that went in to Abigail the daughter of Nahash, sister to Zeruiah Joab’s mother.

Absalom set Amasa over the army instead of Joab. Now Amasa was the son of a man whose name was Ithra the Israelite, who went in to Abigail the daughter of Nahash, sister to Zeruiah, Joab’s mother.

Dann lagerte sich Absalom mit Israel im Lande Gilead.

Y asentó campo Israel con Absalom en tierra de Galaad.

So Israel and Absalom pitched in the land of Gilead.

Als nun David nach Mahanaim gekommen war, hatten Sobi, der Sohn des Nahas, von Rabba, (der Hauptstadt) der Ammoniter, und Machir, der Sohn Ammiels, von Lodebar, und der Gileaditer Barsillai von Rogelim

Y luego que David llegó á Mahanaim, Sobi hijo de Naas de Rabba de los hijos de Ammon, y Machîr hijo de Ammiel de Lodebar, y Barzillai Galaadita de Rogelim,

And it came to pass, when David was come to Mahanaim, that Shobi the son of Nahash of Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and Machir the son of Ammiel of Lo-debar, and Barzillai the Gileadite of Rogelim,

When David had come to Mahanaim, Shobi the son of Nahash of Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and Machir the son of Ammiel of Lodebar, and Barzillai the Gileadite of Rogelim,

bereits Ruhebetten, Decken, Schalen und irdene Geschirre gebracht; auch Weizen, Gerste, Mehl, geröstetes Korn, Bohnen und Linsen,

Trajeron á David y al pueblo que estaba con él, camas, y tazas, y vasijas de barro, y trigo, y cebada, y harina, y grano tostado, habas, lentejas, y garbanzos tostados,

Brought beds, and basons, and earthen vessels, and wheat, and barley, and flour, and parched corn, and beans, and lentiles, and parched pulse,

brought beds, basins, earthen vessels, wheat, barley, meal, parched grain, beans, lentils, roasted grain,

Honig, Sahne, Schafe und Kuhkäse hatten sie für David und für seine Leute zum Essen hergeschafft; denn sie dachten: Die Leute sind in der Wüste hungrig und müde und durstig geworden.

Miel, manteca, ovejas, y quesos de vacas, para que comiesen; porque dijeron: Aquel pueblo está hambriento, y cansado, y tendrá sed en el desierto.

And honey, and butter, and sheep, and cheese of kine, for David, and for the people that were with him, to eat: for they said, The people is hungry, and weary, and thirsty, in the wilderness.
