20Als nun die Knechte Absaloms zu dem Weibe ins Haus kamen und fragte: Wo sind Ahimaaz und Jonathan? sagte das Weib zu ihnen: Sie sind von hier nach dem Wasser weitergegangen. Da suchten sie nach ihnen; doch als sie nichts fanden, kehrten sie nach Jerusalem zurück. (1) d.i. dem Jordan.

20And when Absalom’s servants came to the woman to the house, they said, Where is Ahimaaz and Jonathan? And the woman said unto them, They be gone over the brook of water. And when they had sought and could not find them, they returned to Jerusalem.
